Xingxing and Chuchu both craned their necks, and were puzzled to see that only Huo Yuan had returned.
Chu Chu asked in her childish voice, "Where's Mommy? Why is only brother back?"
Huo Yuan said, "Mommy and Daddy are resting; they don't have time to take care of us."
Xingxing tilted her head suspiciously: "When did Mommy and Daddy's relationship become so good? Didn't Mommy always ignore Daddy?"
Huo Yuan replied, "Grandpa Butler said they're resting and told us not to disturb Mommy's sleep."
Xingxing was a little disappointed: "Okay then, we'll sleep by ourselves."
Chu Chu, holding a tablet, asked, "Shall we listen to ghost stories together?"
"I don't want to," Huo Yuan was the first to refuse.
Chu Chu smiled and said, "Brother A Yuan is timid."
Xingxing took the tablet and opened the ghost story: "Then listen to the ghost story, little sister, don't cry."
Chu Chu was so frightened that she quickly covered her ears.
Xingxing laughed heartily.
Huo Yuan said, "Let's change the story. I don't like ghost stories."
"How about watching cartoons?" Xingxing suggested.
Chu Chu nodded immediately.
The three little ones sat obediently on the bed watching cartoons, and later they fell asleep without anyone knowing what happened.
When I woke up, it was already daylight.
What puzzled them was that their mother hadn't come back to be with them yet.
Huo Yuan missed Xia Ningxi terribly, so he went to Xia Ningxi's room to look for her, but in the end he only found Huo Nanxiao there.
Huo Yuan asked in confusion, "Daddy, where did Mommy go?"

Xingxing and Chuchu immediately changed into their best clothes, and after breakfast, they went to the hospital with Huo Nanxiao.

Lu Yi said, "I'm quite free right now, so I don't need to find another time. Let's do it now."

Upon arriving at the restaurant, Lu Yi reserved a private room, called over the head chef, and ordered several dishes that the children could eat. The rest of the dishes were all Xia Ningxi's favorites. There were only a few of them, yet Lu Yi ordered eighteen dishes.
After that, he handed the menu back to the waiter, never letting Huo Nanxiao touch it from beginning to end.
Lu Yi wasn't afraid of angering Huo Nanxiao, and asked with a smile, "I heard that President Huo doesn't like spicy food, so why don't you eat with the children?"
Huo Nanxiao retorted, "Are you always this free?"
Lu Yi said, "No, I'm usually very busy, but no matter how busy I am, I still make time to have meals with Ning Xi."
"So it seems you do still have some value," Huo Nanxiao said calmly.
Lu Yi countered, "President Huo is younger than I imagined. I thought a man who had been married several times would be at least in his forties or fifties."
Huo Nanxiao's gaze turned cold.
Lu Yi: "I'm so sorry, I almost forgot that this isn't exactly something to be proud of. President Huo probably wouldn't want it mentioned by outsiders."
Huo Nanxiao sneered: "It's not a big deal, after all, we already have a child."
The three children sat in the middle, looked at Lu Yi, and then at Huo Nanxiao. They realized that the two were having a magical duel.

Xia Ningxi poured a cup of tea for Huo Nanxiao: "Have some tea."
