The bodyguards quickly removed the food from the table.
Xia Wanwan said, "I'm not hungry right now, I don't want to eat anything, you don't need to make me anything anymore."
"Your body needs nutrition right now; you can't go hungry," Huo Nanxiao reminded him.
Xia Wanwan suddenly raised her head very seriously and looked at Huo Nanxiao. She said, "Can I leave this hospital?"
Huo Nanxiao asked, "Why? Ninghai Hospital is one of the top hospitals in the capital city. It's a better place for you to recuperate."

Huo Nanxiao did not reject Xia Wanwan's suggestion and immediately went to negotiate with the dean.

"Okay, I have to go out for a bit later. You can stay at the hospital tonight, and I'll come pick you up tomorrow morning," Huo Nanxiao said to Xia Wanwan.
Xia Wanwan watched his retreating figure and asked, "Nan Xiao, where are you going?"
"Is there anything else?" Huo Nanxiao asked in return.
Xia Wanwan said, "I just wanted to know, aren't you off today? It's so late, why don't you stay for dinner before you leave?"
"No, thank you."
Huo Nanxiao refused.

Xia Wanwan looked at the table full of delicious food but hesitated to pick up her chopsticks. She looked out the window at the scenery, listened to the rustling of falling leaves and the occasional sound of ambulances in the distance, and lowered her eyes, as if she had made a great decision.
"Is Xia Ningxi still at Ninghai Hospital?" she asked.
The bodyguard's expression darkened upon hearing Xia Wanwan's question: "Miss Xia, what do you want with her?"
"She's my sister. I can't eat this much by myself. Can't I invite her over for dinner?" Xia Wanwan asked cautiously.
The bodyguard said, "Young Master Huo said that you must get his permission to see anyone other than your attending physician."
Xia Wanwan said, "Nan Xiao will definitely agree. Go and call her over."
The bodyguard was skeptical.
Xia Wanwan said, "Do you want me to go and call them over in a wheelchair? If Young Master Huo finds out, you won't be able to keep your job for long."
This warning startled the bodyguard, who quickly said, "I'll go and fetch him right away."
The bodyguard left in a hurry.

"I want to see Ning Xi," Xia Wanwan said, stating her purpose.
Xia Ningxi asked, "What is it?"
"I just wanted to ask about some personal matters. Can we talk about it after you finish eating?" Xia Wanwan asked.
Xia Ningxi put down her chopsticks and slowly said, "Sister Wanwan, I have nothing to say to you. I'm not your attending physician anymore. You'd better go back to your own ward and don't overwork yourself. I can't bear the responsibility if something happens."
"Ning Xi, you are very smart. You should know why I came to find you."
