Chapter 47: Getting close to a man will indeed make you unhappy
Fu Xijin withdrew his gaze, lowered his eyes, and met Yue Su's tearful eyes.
Those two crystal clear tears fell on the back of his hand, burning his heart and causing pain.
He slowly loosened his hands, letting them fall, clenching his fists.
"You're running too fast."
Yue Su rubbed his eyes hard, his eye sockets were as red as a rabbit, and he looked a little pitiful.
"Don't you have a mouth? I think you are just trying to scare me from behind."
If she had known it was him, why would she have run away?
Fu Xijin explained: "There are black bears in this area. We can't go any further. There is a black bear den over there."
He was afraid that making a sound would attract the black bear, so he just wanted to catch up with Yue Su.
I didn't expect it to scare her.
Yue Su glared at him unhappily, "I lost my map, which way can I go out?"
Fu Xijin: “…I don’t know.”
Yuesu's eyes widened, "Isn't this your island?"
Fu Xijin glanced at her, clearly speechless.
"I've only been here a few times."
And they are all hunting, accompanied by professionals.
His status would not allow him to be alone in a dangerous place.
Yue Su finally remembered that he still had a cell phone. He took it out and looked at it, then pulled the corner of his lip in disappointment.
"There's no signal."
Fu Xijin looked around and said, "We've gone too far."
He thought for a moment and randomly chose a direction to walk.
Yue Su immediately followed, "Mr. Fu, you should be able to find the way out, right?"
"not necessarily."
Yue Su stopped talking. There was nothing she could do except follow him.
Maybe I can find a place with signal and contact someone.
"You just said there's a black bear's lair over there?"
"Well, I went to the island to hunt before and got in by mistake."
He spoke calmly and without mentioning how thrilling the process was.
But Yue Su felt terrible when he thought about it.
"What if we can't get out?"
She didn't want to spend the night in the forest; it was too dangerous.
Fu Xijin turned around, his demeanor calm and steady.
"Then wait for the program team to bring people to search and rescue."
Yue Su pouted, "I'm most afraid that I won't be able to wait for them to come and rescue me."
Fu Xijin glared at her and said coldly, "You probably won't be able to wait. It's hard to run 800 meters."
Yue Su puffed up his cheeks and said, "It's not that hard. I must have run more than 800 meters just now."
Fu Xijin ignored her and strode forward.
After walking for an unknown amount of time, Yue Su stopped.
"Take a break."
She had just been running for so long and now walked a long way, her mouth was dry.
Fortunately, she brought water.
After taking two big gulps, she realized that Fu Xijin's hands were empty.
"Did you bring any water?"
"No."
Yue Su frowned, "You come out hunting without water, do you have any common sense?"
Fu Xijin: "Thanks to you."
According to his original plan, he would not stay in the forest for too long.
Yue Su originally wanted to reply, "I didn't ask you to follow me," but then he thought it was too heartless and threw the bottle over.
"Don't throw away the bottle after you finish drinking it, maybe you can find spring water there."
Even if there is mountain spring water, she may not dare to drink it.
Fu Xijin glanced at her, didn't bother to be polite with her, and raised his head to drink up the rest of the water.
Yue Su pounded his sore calf and said, "Let's go."
The two walked forward in silence for a while, neither of them spoke.
Suddenly, Yue Su was startled, his foot stepped on empty air, and he fell down.
Fu Xijin, who was walking in front, heard the noise and quickly grabbed her wrist and pulled it back.
Yue Su came up, but he moved forward due to inertia and swapped positions with Yue Su.
When he felt his body falling, he was shocked to find that there was a trap.
He subconsciously let go of Yue Su's hand and fell down himself. He couldn't let Yue Su get dragged down with him.
Unexpectedly, just as he loosened his fingers, he saw Yue Su grabbing his arm the next moment.
She hooked one hand on the tree trunk next to her and grabbed Fu Xijin with the other, and immediately felt a tearing pain in her muscles.
"Hold on, don't let go."
Fu Xijin tried to step up, but there was grass all around, and it was slippery, and there was no foothold at all.
He looked down to make sure the altitude was still within control.
Just when he wanted to ask Yue Su to let go, her strength suddenly loosened and she pounced towards him.
The two of them fell down together.
Fu Xijin reacted very quickly, hugged Yue Su, and reached out to grab any grass he could find.
Even though the grass couldn't hold him and Yue Su, it at least cushioned the force of their falling.
Only when his feet touched solid ground did Yue Su finally let go of the heart that had been in his throat.
They thought there would be bamboo thorns waiting for them underneath, but luckily it was just an ordinary trap.
But this height...
Yue Su looked up and felt even more desperate. There was no way to climb out.
"Mr. Fu, can you climb out?"
Fu Xijin shook his head, "No way."
Yue Su hung his head and found a place to sit down.
Muttered: "Why did you pull me?"
If we leave one person there, at least we can think of a solution.
Fu Xijin snorted, "Why are you pulling me?"
At least he could pull Yue Su up, but Yue Su pulling him was simply overestimating her own abilities.
With her small arms and legs, it is difficult for her to even carry a suitcase.
Yue Su puffed up her cheeks and rolled her eyes at him.
What an ungrateful bastard! Her arm still hurts.
She wanted to move around, but when she raised her arm, she felt a piercing pain.
She turned pale and hissed.
Fu Xijin immediately held her hand and said, "Don't move."
Yue Su pursed her lips, not daring to use any more force.
Fu Xijin gently massaged her from the shoulders down.
"It's dislocated."
Yue Su was almost numb. It was raining cats and dogs. Today was really bad luck.
Her lips turned pale from the pain, and she became extremely angry when she thought about her current situation.
Ultimately, it was all because of Fu Xijin.
She glared at him fiercely, "It turns out that being close to a man will lead to misfortune."
Fu Xijin: “?”
He didn't say anything back, his eyes suddenly moved somewhere else, his tone flat.
"There's a snake over there."
"ah!!!"
Yue Su screamed and subconsciously burrowed into his arms.
Fu Xijin took her into his arms and used his skillful strength to restore Yue Su's arm.
Before Yue Su could come to his senses, he heard him say, "Okay."
She looked up blankly, bumped into his jaw, and heard him groan.
"Mr. Fu, where's the snake?"
"It's a lie."
Yue Su: “…”
She moved her arm and surprisingly found that it didn't hurt anymore.
Realizing why he lied to her, Yue Su's anger immediately dissipated before it could even erupt.
"Thank you, Mr. Fu."
Fu Xijin hummed, lowered his eyes to look at his hands, and rubbed his fingertips.
The moment I hugged Yue Su, some unfamiliar scenes flashed through my mind.
He was like a spectator watching a movie, but also like a party involved in it.
My heartbeat quickened, and a surging wave beat against my chest.
That kind of throbbing flowed into every part of my body, vibrating my nerve endings.
He bent one leg, his eyes unfocused, unable to see the real situation.
His eardrums seemed to be able to hear the sound of his heart beating like a drum, affecting every emotion of his.
He closed his eyes, rejecting this strange feeling.
