Chapter 11 Dormitory Turmoil

After a meal of spicy hot pot, the two waved goodbye without exchanging contact information or saying goodbye.

All that remains is the flowing hair of young people, the sky they saw together this summer, and the knowing that they will meet again.

After all, we're in the same class, so while we don't see each other all the time, we do see each other every now and then.

Jiang Xu went against the grain. The first day of school was a Saturday, which meant that Jiang Xu would have to spend a week with his three unfamiliar roommates.

He thought about it and realized it wasn't anything too difficult. He was someone who knew how to find joy even in hardship, and besides, compared to the torment of an irreversible illness, these little squabbles between roommates were nothing to Jiang Xu.

Jiang Xu thought this way, while two of the three people opposite him were furious. They were used to Jiang Xu's gentleness and obedience, and when Jiang Xu tricked them, they felt like they had been caught off guard and didn't realize that the usually gentle person had suddenly become tough.

They got together and discussed how to properly teach Jiang Xu a lesson, and even make him move out, ensuring that he would never even entertain the thought of moving again.

Zhao Rangwen remained silent as always, simply listening to the two men's discussion.

He was a "meticulous" person. The bullying and suppression he had experienced since childhood had made him very good at reading people. He had a gut feeling that Jiang Xu was different after this holiday. It wasn't just the change in appearance, but also something else that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

But he wouldn't say anything. He would only decide where to stand in the end. In any case, he had to protect himself. He just wanted to finish college and earn money to free his parents' and younger siblings' hardworking hands.

Jiang Xu will be fine. No matter what, the other party still has money. But why hasn't the other party transferred money to him since a week ago? He's almost broke now that his regular income is gone.

Regardless of their differing thoughts, the next moment a knock on the door interrupted their discussion, and Jiang Xu had already stormed in.

He didn't have the dormitory key, and it wasn't that he hadn't looked for it, but there were only so few things in the whole room and he really couldn't find it. His fragmented memories didn't contain anything related to the key either. Did the original owner lose it?

Jiang Xu knocked three times but no one answered. He clearly heard sounds coming from inside the door.

He has a good temper, I suppose.

Jiang Xu raised his hand and knocked three more times, counting in his mind as he knocked. The third knock and the count of three ended at the same time.

Very well, his temper is getting a bit bad now.

Jiang Xu took a step back and kicked the door directly. Coincidentally, the door opened at that moment, and Jiang Xu kicked it effortlessly. The person who opened the door let out a miserable howl.

"Ah! Who the hell kicked the door?!"

The voice sounded familiar. Jiang Xu touched his earlobe to comfort his aggrieved ears, then walked straight into the wide-open door, slammed it shut with a "bang," and then looked at the person who was covering their face and cursing, and said, "Shut up, your dad thinks it's a bit noisy."

The one who got hit by the door was Wang Bing. He naturally knew who would be knocking on the door. Usually, Zhao Rangwen was the one who would leave people waiting for a while before being asked to open the door.

However, he had just been angered by Jiang Xu at noon today, so he left him hanging for a while, planning to open the door and personally humiliate him. Without Gu Li's support, the other party was nothing more than a dog that could be manipulated at will.

In Jiang Xu's eyes, Wang Bing now looked like a dog, covering his nose like a stupid dog whose tail had been stepped on.

No, Jiang Xu thought about it and felt it was somewhat insulting to dogs; the other party didn't deserve to be called a dog.

"Well, you think you have someone else to help you? You still dare to be so arrogant!" Wang Bing finally calmed down. He originally thought that the one who kicked down the door couldn't be Jiang Xu, but some other troublemaker. He didn't expect it to be Jiang Xu. His anger flared up.

"Yeah, you'd better apologize to Brother Wang right away and beg us to forgive you, or you'll be in big trouble."

"Oh, I'll wait then." Jiang Xu walked to his seat and looked at the pile of clutter on his chair. "Hey you, come and tidy up."

"Who? Who are you calling?" Wang Bing rushed over suddenly, glaring at Jiang Xu.

Jiang Xu said, "I hadn't decided yet, but since you're barking like a dog, then it's your turn." He stretched out his leg and swept everything onto the ground. "Come on, clean it all up."

Wang Bing: "Who do you think you are? You've gone too far!"

“You told me who I was as soon as you came in,” Jiang Xu looked at Wang Bing with an expression as if he were an idiot. “You can bribe your way into this school? If you can, I’ll report you right now.” He then gave the man in front of him a disdainful once-over. “What a menace, Donggua.”

"Dare you say that again?" Wang Bing's face darkened immediately. Height had always been a sensitive topic for him, and this man's gaze and words had crossed the line.

"Who's wasting my breath on you? Let's get this over with." Jiang Xu lowered his head slightly, the gentle look in his already handsome eyes fading away, leaving behind a sharp, cutting edge. His arrogant movements were full of nobility, and his thin lips were slightly pursed, clearly on the verge of impatience.

Wang Bing's eyes flickered as he looked at the other man. When had Jiang Xu ever looked at someone like that? It was as if he would attack immediately if you said "no" again, his eyes filled with a chilling, predatory intent.

But misled by Jiang Xu's image over the past year, Wang Bing instantly abandoned his vigilance and took action. His fists had always been his source of confidence, and he had always relied on them to subdue others.

His powerful punch was easily caught by Jiang Xu. If the other party had only become stronger during the class meeting, his reaction speed now was clearly abnormal.

Jiang Xu wouldn't give him any more time to think. After catching the fist, Jiang Xu swiftly and smoothly controlled Wang Bing's movements with a swift twist and turn. He also took the opportunity to move closer and deliver a chop to the side of the other's neck. As the other couldn't stop shrugging and retreating, Jiang Xu released his grip and then mischievously tripped him with his foot. Wang Bing hunched his neck and fell backward.

Wang Bing was a big guy, and the noise he made when he hit the ground was quite loud, instantly waking up the other two guys in the dormitory.

Liu Xian said, "Jiang Xu, this is violence, it's school violence."

"How could that be? I was just teaching him how to organize his things. He's not self-disciplined and doesn't like to tidy up, so I was just urging him," Jiang Xu said gently. "By the way, some of these are yours. Would you like to come and tidy them up yourselves, or should I help you?"

Jiang Xu loosened his muscles and bones, feeling the urgency of his body to go to the gym.

Liu Xian and Zhao Rangwen were clearly stunned. "This...this is what you agreed to let us release them before." Liu Xian obviously wanted to argue a little more.

"Crack!" Jiang Xu's knuckles clicked, producing a clear, crisp sound. "You never agreed to it, so you don't want to move?"

He took a step forward. Wang Bing, who was on the ground, was dazed. After regaining some of his senses, he hissed and just sat up when he saw Jiang Xu take a step closer to him. He immediately shuddered and quickly shrank back.

"Heh," Jiang Xu scoffed, "Can we clean it up now?"
