Chapter 125 Outsiders

Zhao Rangwen found this class more unbearable than ever before. Was he really good enough? But Gu Li wouldn't give him another chance. If he didn't get this opportunity, how could he possibly beat Jiang Xu?

How can you destroy the other person's smile? The other person used to be obedient to you and even admired you, and you can't accept this change.

He felt that he was no worse than the other person!

When the bell rang to signal the end of get out of class, Zhao Rangwen felt both relieved and tormented.

Gu Li picked up his phone and tapped it lightly, intending to finish quickly.

Gu Li stood up as if to leave, but Zhao Rangwen grabbed her sleeve. "Gu Li, I haven't... I haven't said anything yet."

Gu Li glanced at the spot where he was being held, "Let go," Zhao Rangwen released his grip and continued, "I see you don't have anything to say, I'm too lazy to play along with you."

Zhao Rangwen immediately said, "Yes, I really have something to tell you."

Gu Li sat down and gestured with her chin to Zhao Rangwen to begin.

Zhao Rangwen looked around. It was lunchtime when get out of class ended, and everyone rushed to the classroom door. There were hardly any people around them anymore.

He secretly breathed a sigh of relief, but when he looked at Gu Li, he found that Gu Li was already impatient. "Gu Li," he called softly.

Gu Li: "Mm."

Zhao Rangwen took a deep breath. "I want to tell you this seriously," his face slowly flushed, "I really like you."

Gu Li said, "Yeah, I don't like you." He said it very naturally and indifferently.

Zhao Rangwen had known this outcome all along. He smiled and nodded, "I knew," his eyes still filled with longing, "I just wanted to tell you, and I just wanted to stay by your side."

Gu Li, "Stay by my side?"

Zhao Rangwen: "Yes, just like Jiang Xu would be good."

Gu Li: "I don't know what you're talking about. What exactly do you mean?"

Zhao Rangwen stared straight at Gu Li. He was so nervous that he almost forgot to breathe. The slight feeling of suffocation gave him great courage. He leaned closer to Gu Li and said, “I can give you,” his voice was clear, trembling slightly with nervousness, “oral.”

Gu Li pushed the person away. He felt his ears were dirty, but at least that was enough. "You really know how to think."

Zhao Rangwen felt he had already said everything and might as well go all out. "You can do whatever you want," he said, his eyes fixed on Gu Li. "Brother Li."

Damn it! What is he yelling about? Gu Li felt an urge to slap him.

Gu Li's gaze turned completely cold. "Shut up, are you done talking?"

Zhao Rangwen didn't understand why Gu Li's attitude was so cold. Wasn't that what he meant? Impossible! He and Jiang Xu had clearly been talking so ambiguously!

"Gu Li, what's wrong? Aren't you...?" He panicked a little.

Gu Li reached out and pulled the phone off the table. He picked it up and shook it at Zhao Rangwen.

Zhao Rangwen glanced at the screen, his face almost losing its redness. "What... what does this mean?"

Gu Li's phone screen was displaying a recording. He tapped the pause button with his fingertip. "Isn't it obvious?" He tapped the recording time point with his fingernail. "You wasted several minutes of my time, but at least you won't be wasting any more time later, right?" He then shook his phone at Zhao Rangwen.

Zhao Rangwen's face darkened. "Gu Li!"

Gu Li rubbed her ears. "Is there anything else?"

Zhao Rangwen asked, "Didn't you say anything wrong in your recording?" He didn't believe he was the only one being impulsive; Gu Li had been hinting at it to him all along.

Gu Li said, "Your memory isn't very good, is it? Think carefully about what I just said."

Zhao Rangwen tried hard to recall, attempting to find fault with Gu Li and to make the recording a threat to Gu Li as well.

But he realized that Gu Li's words were extremely bland, and he himself seemed to be bewildered.

Zhao Rangwen persisted, "Then why did you say those things to me? And aren't you and Jiang Xu in that kind of relationship too? You were the one who hinted at it to me!"

Gu Li, "What kind of relationship?"

Zhao Rangwen shouted, "You said he bumped into you! You said he's sharp-tongued!" By this time, everyone in the classroom had left, and only Gu Li could hear his low growl.

“Yes, the leg of my table bumped into Gu Li’s leg, and he couldn’t argue with me. Is there a problem?” Jiang Xu walked over.

Zhao Rangwen looked over immediately, scanning the two men up and down. "You lied to me! You...!"

Gu Li, "When did I lie to you?"

Zhao Rangwen said, "You smiled at me..." His voice lowered. Yes, he had just smiled, and he had gone to meet him.

Jiang Xu, "Anything else?"

Zhao Rangwen, “Those…those words, yes! And those words.”

Gu Li twirled her phone. "I just want you to be completely quiet, so that you can stay far away from us, as far away as possible."

Zhao Rangwen asked, "Why?" He was surprisingly calm at this moment. "I just like someone, I didn't do anything wrong."

Jiang Xu, "When you used family as an excuse to scam money, when you helped them bully others, did you really just like people? Or did you see me standing next to Gu Li?"

Zhao Rangwen said, "If it can be you, why can't it be me! Besides, everything that happened before was your own choice," he laughed, "You're just being stupid."

Gu Li said, "Well, it's your own fault for being stupid now." He couldn't be bothered with the man's self-pity. "Besides, compared to your pitiful state, your family is the truly pitiful one."

Zhao Rangwen said, "I will treat them well, but they just need to make some sacrifices first, and it's all their own choice!"

Jiang Xu asked casually, "Is that so?" "When you were financially well-off, you still kept asking them for money. You could have eased their burden much earlier, so why didn't you?"

Zhao Rangwen shook his head. "No, I need to stand higher so that they can live better lives. That's how it is, you just don't understand!"

Gu Li said, "Well, there's no need to understand." He stood up, leaning on the back of his chair. "No matter how you stand after that, just stand far away from us, it's bad luck."

After he finished speaking, he climbed over and stood next to Jiang Xu, saying, "Have you been waiting long?"

Zhao Rangwen called from behind, "Gu Li, Gu Li!"

Gu Li turned around. “If you don’t want everyone to know, then,” his eyes were icy, “hide yourselves and behave yourselves. Have some self-awareness.”

Jiang Xu smiled at Zhao Rangwen, "This is goodbye. Can you catch up with me?"

Zhao Rangwen recalled his earlier words that Jiang Xu couldn't catch up with Gu Li, but now, he realized that he was the one who had never even entered the game.

An outsider should be sober, but he was completely drunk.

What made him drunk was the prosperity he longed for, but unfortunately, it was a false prosperity.

Jiang Xu and Gu Li walked out of the classroom. Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li, who was busy with her phone, and asked, "What are you busy with?"
