Jiang Xu felt that Gu Li was about to make it clear, but he didn't plan to cooperate too much. It was better to leave some things a little suspense. Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li in silence, and the two of them were slowly calming down.
Gu Li wasn't in a hurry to wait for an answer. They just stared at each other, but when she saw Jiang Xu open his lips, Gu Li became a little nervous, a mixture of anticipation and nervousness.
Under Gu Li's gaze, Jiang Xu mischievously spoke up, "I think," he raised his hand and pointed behind Gu Li, "we should go downstairs."
The Ferris wheel came to a complete stop. When Gu Li turned around, the door opened. He curled his lip in dissatisfaction, stood up briskly, and glanced at Jiang Xu, who had also stood up. "Now it's your turn to be glad," he said before Jiang Xu could ask, "be glad you escaped a disaster."
Jiang Xu stepped forward and stood shoulder to shoulder with the person, saying bluntly, "You're the one who escaped unscathed."
Two tall young men stepped out of the Ferris wheel together. The fresh air filled their nostrils, so refreshing it was almost chilly, perhaps because it had been quite hot inside the Ferris wheel.
Heat is in the enclosed space, heat is in each other.
Jiang Xu felt a warm sensation brushing against the back of his hand from time to time. He turned his head to look at the young man beside him who seemed to be unaffected, and couldn't help but smile. He called out softly, "Gu Li."
Gu Li turned her head and met Jiang Xu's gaze. She seemed to favor the two of them, and the scene of their eye contact was particularly clear and touching. "What's wrong?"
Jiang Xu didn't answer, but in the next moment he clasped one hand in his own, and then he felt a complete peace in his heart. A moment later, a sense of satisfaction rushed up, and everything seemed to be as it should be.
Gu Li paused for a moment, then resumed his normal pace, gently grasping Jiang Xu's hand in return.
As for who will see it, someone will see it; as for who will care, they certainly won't care.
The sky had darkened, the afterglow was fading, and night was creeping in. Both of them noticed this, and Gu Li looked around before saying, "Wait for me for a moment, I need to buy something."
Jiang Xu: "I'll go with you."
Gu Li raised his hand to stop Jiang Xu's actions. "No," he pointed to the stall not far away, "Stand and wait for your brother. He'll be back soon, little Jiang Xu."
Jiang Xu glanced at the not-too-distant distance and followed Gu Li, saying, "Okay, come back quickly, little Gu Li."
Gu Li turned Jiang Xu around so that his back was to the stall. "Yes, but don't peek."
Jiang Xu really wanted to peek when Gu Li said that. He subconsciously turned around and saw Gu Li running. The young man was outstanding, and his flamboyant hair was still dazzling in the light. No wonder Jiang Xu turned his head and looked at him the first time.
He smiled and turned back, the image of Gu Li still lingering in his retina, so vivid and lively, just as he had thought. Gu Li possessed a certain pure naiveté, a naiveté that was exceptionally attractive, a contrast that suited Gu Li perfectly.
Jiang Xu was lost in thought about Gu Li's various actions, whether happy or sad, each scene felt incredibly real, truly allowing him to find a connection with this world.
He felt a sense of fullness in his heart, but not quite satisfied, and he wanted to look back at Gu Li again.
Gu Li never disappointed Jiang Xu. Just as Jiang Xu's thought arose, someone patted his shoulder. When he turned around, he felt something touch his lips, which was slightly sticky.
Jiang Xu subconsciously looked over and saw Gu Li holding the glass to his lips. In that position, he asked, "Want to try it?"
It's sweet, very sweet.
As Jiang Xu opened his mouth to take a bite, these were the thoughts in his mind. However, he felt that it couldn't compare to the sweetness of some things, or more accurately, it couldn't compare to the sweetness of some people.
He nodded slightly. Hmm, not as sweet as the person in front of him.
Jiang Xu felt his mouth filled with sweetness. He reached out and grasped Gu Li's wrist, then pushed it to Gu Li's lips. "It's very sweet. You should try it too." He hoped that Gu Li would taste the same flavor as him.
That indescribable sweetness.
Gu Li lowered his head and took a bite. The sugar threads melted sweetly in his mouth. He hadn't eaten it in a long time and couldn't remember the taste before, but at this moment Gu Li thought this thing was quite delicious and didn't hurt his teeth at all.
He nodded. "It is quite sweet, but not bad." He smiled and handed the item to Jiang Xu. "Here, take this. I bought it especially for you."
Jiang Xu: "You'll have to wait."
Gu Li, "Hmm?"
Jiang Xu said, "I'll go buy one for you too." He started walking towards it.
Gu Li pulled Jiang Xu aside, tilted her head and said confidently, "What's yours is mine. Why buy another one? Don't waste money. I'm already broke."
Seeing Gu Li's feigned distress over the money, Jiang Xu stopped beside her. "You're in such a bad situation, well," he tore off a piece of food and handed it to Gu Li, "eat some to nourish yourself."
Gu Li opened his mouth wide and bit down, as if he hadn't controlled himself and also bit Jiang Xu's finger. He licked it with his tongue as if he hadn't had enough. He looked up at Jiang Xu in this position and said, "It tastes good."
I don't know if it refers to anything else.
Jiang Xu pushed his fingertips forward, and the soft mouth made contact with his fingertips. His first reaction was that it was moist, followed by softness and warmth. He couldn't help but beckon his fingertips.
Gu Li frowned and quickly pulled away, asking, "What are you doing?"
Jiang Xu looked at the man with an innocent expression. "Only officials are allowed to set fires, but commoners like me are not allowed to light lamps? That's not fair, sir." The last two words were uttered in a low, flirtatious tone, almost as if they were tinged with moisture.
Gu Li pressed his tongue against his back teeth, then shoved the food into Jiang Xu's hand. His tone was a mix of helplessness, teasing, and indulgence: "What nonsense are you talking about? You look like an emperor to me."
Jiang Xu took it, but switched it to his other hand so he could get closer to Gu Li. He turned his head and asked, "What about the new clothes you prepared for me?"
Gu Li felt warm breath on his ear, teasing it without any restraint. His brow twitched, and he looked at Jiang Xu, whose expression remained calm. "Who's as carefree as you, Brother Xu?"
When he called him "Brother Xu," there was a hint of ruthlessness in his voice, a mixture of love and hate. Jiang Xu thought it was quite nice; it made the two of them seem exceptionally close, something anyone could sense. Jiang Xu smiled and accepted Gu Li's accusation. He twirled the object in his other hand and said, "You, it's you."
Gu Li, “…” He suddenly hooked his arm around Jiang Xu’s neck, pressed him down and said, “Then you can lie in bed and wait for me tonight. I guarantee you’ll never forget this night.”
Since Jiang Xu had already said that, Gu Li thought he might as well keep talking; he felt his partner could handle it.
