They didn't have to wait long before there was a knock on the door. Gu Li went over and opened the door, and the robot's voice immediately sounded, "Please come to room number one to collect your food. Your little Lang is here to serve you."
Jiang Xu found the food delivery robot at the door rather amusing; it seemed out of place in the store, and the sound of it picking up food was even more comical.
Gu Li picked up the food without much surprise, then tapped the robot. "Xiao Lang, right? You brought it to me personally, otherwise I'd dock your pay."
Xu Lang, who could see the screen on the other side, froze. He turned to Xie Tao and said, "Brother Li is threatening me again. I was just testing how well this robot works." He then sighed dramatically.

Xu Lang's ears turned suspiciously red. The word "Little Lang" hit him like a ton of bricks, making his heart pound. "You fouled, Tao," he muttered under his breath as he carried his food away.
Jiang Xu looked at the plate on the table. It was an exceptionally delicate dish, with top-notch knife skills. The small portion of the dish looked very appealing.
"I didn't expect this," Jiang Xu said, looking at the dishes. "True masters are indeed found among ordinary people."
Gu Li said, "Xie Tao has a knack for this. Try the dishes we have today, and feel free to order whatever you like." He pushed a card towards Jiang Xu.
Jiang Xu, "So you've started bribing people too?"
Gu Li: "Don't be like that, it's only useful here. Once you leave, you'll have a black card."
Jiang Xu picked up the card. It had a matte finish and subtle gold patterns on it. "People who are particular about their appearance always give cards that are different from others. Thanks."

Gu Li, "Call me brother."
Their eyes met, and Jiang Xu couldn't understand Gu Li's thoughts. "You want to be my brother so badly? Didn't your friend just call you brother?"
"The more the merrier." Gu Li didn't know why she wanted to hear Jiang Xu call out, this thought was like a thorn buried in her flesh, always silently asserting its presence unless it was pulled out. "How about just one call?"

Jiang Xu smiled and said, "You're quite energetic."
Gu Li said, "That kid is like that. He wasn't in good health before, so Xie Tao took care of him. Now he's much better, and his personality has become more lively."
Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li, and Gu Li looked back at him. "What kind of look is that? You don't need to worship me like that."

Gu Li said, "I've always been mature, okay?" He glanced down at his phone, which was now black. "Do I have your number?"
"Got it." Jiang Xu nodded.
Gu Li tapped the screen twice with her fingertip. "I don't believe you. Give me a call."
Jiang Xu, “…” He still dialed the number. The moment the other person’s phone rang, Jiang Xu knew why they wanted him to call.
"Son, son, I'm your father."

Gu Li tapped the red icon on her phone screen, and the song immediately stopped. "Okay, now I believe you."
