The next step is that when Li Xiujun doesn't have classes, she either stays in the studio or comes to help out Mr. Li Sanye.
"Third Master, I see that many things in your laboratory have been almost used up. Do you want me to help you purchase some?" Li Xiujun suddenly asked.
Mr. Li San opened the cabinet and took a look, then nodded. "I think there aren't many stones left in the cabinet. Can you go to the market over there and buy some for me?"
Li Xiujun walked around the market and, as usual, went to each store to check the quality and price, compared prices, and finally bought a bag of stones.
She didn't plan to go back in a hurry, but wanted to investigate the current market conditions.
As she was walking down the street, Li Xiujun was quickly attracted by the voice of a shopkeeper shouting, "We just agreed on this, why are you going back on your word?"
When Li Xiujun saw that the seller opposite was Professor Chen, she couldn't help but stop and watch among the crowd.
Professor Chen raised his glasses and said, "That was originally agreed upon, but after taking a look at your stone, it's completely different from what I expected. It's useless for me to buy it back."
The shopkeeper, however, had a tough look on his face and completely ignored what Professor Chen said. He crossed his arms and said, "I've asked someone to send it to me now. If you don't buy it, it's useless for me to keep it in the store."
Li Xiujun saw it all clearly from the side. It was not the first time that she had encountered such an attitude from the shop owner. She walked through the crowd and took the stone from the boss.
The shopkeeper was still confused and asked, "What do you do for a living?"
Li Xiujun's face was filled with smiles, and she said calmly, "Boss, don't worry, I know about stone materials, I can help you."
When the shopkeeper heard this, he was naturally happy, thinking that Li Xiujun was here to help him, and continued, "A little girl knows more about this than you."
Li Xiujun opened the stone, took some and rubbed it back and forth in her hands. She asked the shop owner with a puzzled look on her face, "Boss, you just said that this stone was just delivered?"
The shop owner felt a little unsure when asked this by Li Xiujun, but seeing so many people watching, and the fact that the little girl was only in her early twenties, he probably knew nothing.
The shopkeeper straightened his back and said, "Yes."
Li Xiujun really didn't expect the shop owner in front of her to be so stubborn. She shook her head helplessly. Professor Chen pulled Li Xiujun's sleeve with his hand.
"How about, forget it?" Professor Chen said.
Originally, he had no intention of buying it, but seeing that Li Xiujun was standing on his side, he didn't want Li Xiujun to be bullied because of him.
Li Xiujun shook her head and continued seriously, "No need, we are right this time."
She stepped forward and spread out the stone on the table. "Boss, don't you have a conscience when running a business? This stone has been in your shop for at least three to five years, right?"
The shopkeeper's thoughts were exposed by Li Xiujun, but he showed an unhappy expression. He pointed at Li Xiujun and said, "Little girl, you can eat whatever you want, but you can't say whatever you want."
Li Xiujun sneered and clapped her hands, signaling everyone to look in her direction. "I'm sure there are some knowledgeable people among you. Just look at the quality of this stone and you'll know who's lying."
Seeing that everyone was gathering around, the shopkeeper was naturally unwilling to do so and quickly blocked the table with his body: "You must buy this thing today."
The store owners are now forcing customers to buy and sell. In this market, no matter what they do, naturally no store owner will do anything.
Li Xiujun glanced at Professor Chen and muttered softly, "On the count of three, let's run together."
"Three, two, one." Li Xiujun grabbed Professor Chen's hand and ran away. The shopkeeper saw everything clearly from behind and waved his hand, saying, "Come back, come back!"
But there was no response.
The two of them pulled each other and ran out of the market. Li Xiujun turned around and looked behind her. She didn't see the shop owner chasing them, so she breathed a sigh of relief.
Finally, they stopped at the corner. Li Xiujun put her hands on her knees and looked at Professor Chen breathlessly.
At this time, Professor Chen sat on the chair next to him, pressing his neck with his hands, unable to speak.
Li Xiujun said seriously: "The shopkeeper just now was clearly forcing you to buy or sell. If you encounter such a thing in the future..." Before she finished her words, she saw Professor Chen faint in front of her.
But Li Xiujun was frightened. She hurried forward, put her hands on Professor Chen's shoulders, and pulled back and forth: "Professor Chen, Professor Chen."
There was no answer.
When Professor Chen woke up again, he found himself lying in the hospital. Professor Chen sat up subconsciously. Li Xiujun just came in from the door and the two looked at each other.
Professor Chen looked at Li Xiujun beside him and felt inexplicably at ease. Li Xiujun smiled faintly: "You're awake."
He looked around, his face full of confusion, and asked, "What's wrong with me?"
"The hospital just examined you and found no problems. They said it was caused by your recent overwork. You should have a good rest when you go back," said Li Xiujun.
Professor Chen finally breathed a sigh of relief and nodded slightly.
"Thank you." Professor Chen said.
"It's no big deal. It's just a piece of cake." Li Xiujun responded readily.
"You helped me with both of the things that happened to me today."
"In the market, the boss is forcing people to buy and sell. If you encounter such a thing in the future, just let the people come and see, and the boss will not be so arrogant." Li Xiujun said in a serious manner.
As Professor Chen looked at this, a smile appeared on his face from the bottom of his heart.
A delivery boy came over, waved the takeaway in the air, and shouted, "Whose takeaway is this!"
Li Xiujun quickly responded: "Mine, mine."
After receiving the takeaway, Li Xiujun opened it and handed the porridge to Professor Chen. "The doctor just said that you've been too tired these past few days. I thought you probably didn't have time to eat properly, so I ordered some porridge for you."
Professor Chen was stunned at first, and Li Xiujun pushed the porridge in her hand forward. Professor Chen took it and said, "Thank you."
"I've just contacted your family. You should have a good rest. They should be here soon," said Li Xiujun.
Professor Chen's expression changed, but he didn't say anything.
Looking at the time, Li Xiujun went out and ran into Professor Chen's family. They looked at each other, and Wang Nian quickly recognized Li Xiujun.
She pointed at Li Xiujun and asked, "Did you send my brother here?"
