Chapter 114: So~ Scary~

The screams resounded throughout the room, and when Xu Chunian came to her senses, she had already jumped into Jiang Huaixu's arms.
The man hugged her and said, "Don't be afraid."
Xu Chunian crushed the orange in her hand, "Is this a horror movie?"
Jiang Huaixu took out a wet tissue and wiped her hands, "I don't know, Mu Bai chose it."
There was a flash of guilt in his eyes.
Xu Chunian was actually very interested in horror movies, but she was still frightened by this one without any preparation. Watching a horror movie is more serious than watching the news broadcast. Xu Chunian just screamed twice symbolically at the beginning, but when she watched the later part, she fell silent and stared at the big screen intently.
Whenever there was a scary scene, Jiang Huaixu would cover her eyes with his hands. Xu Chunian grabbed his hand, wanting to see but not daring to, so she half-closed her eyes.
Near the end, Xu Chunian realized that there was someone next to her. She pinched her throat, let out a pretentious cry, and threw herself into Jiang Huaixu's arms.
The man was very pleased and tried to comfort him, "Don't be afraid, they are all fake."
"How scary~" She said that, but her eyes were wider than anyone else's in his arms.
"What should I do if I can't sleep at night?" The man's hand was across her shoulder, slightly blocking her view, and she quietly pulled it down.
She didn't make a sound during the scariest part in the middle, but at the end, when everything was settled, she was so scared that she hid in the man's arms.
"Don't be afraid." He awkwardly reassured her over and over again.
"Are you here tonight?"
The man seemed to freeze.
