Chapter 13 Building Blocks
Bai Hui was relieved and poked her on the head, "Just play with Zhuzhu. I'll go cook two dishes."
Xu Zhen washed his hands and leaned against the door. "What do you want to do this time?"
Bai Hui sighed, "Forget it, I finally came back, so let's not argue with her."
"Didn't I tell her at the beginning? If she continues to chase after that Qin Yuan, she will no longer recognize me as her father. She hasn't seen us for more than a year. What's going on all of a sudden?" Xu Zhen snorted coldly.
"Okay." Bai Hui tied the apron on his back. "You have secretly visited her so many times this year. When you come back, get along well with her. Don't argue with her. Zhuzhu is here for the first time too. Cook two dishes. Doesn't Nian Nian love the braised spareribs you make?"
"Who wants to do it for her?" Xu Zhen said with a disapproving tone but acted upright, and put his hands behind his back to tie the rope.
Bai Hui did not expose him, her eyes fell on the two people beside the sofa, "Please contact Dr. Chu in a few days. I am worried..."
Xu Zhen frowned and nodded, "I'll ask in a few days."

"Zhuzhu, are you playing with building blocks with the pig? Can I play with you?" Xu Chunian squatted in front of Zhuzhu.
Zhuzhu hesitated for a moment, squeezed the pig doll in her hand, and handed a small piece of building blocks next to it to her.
Xu Chunian's pig-like eyes curved and he took the building blocks from her hand. "Thank you, baby."
She glanced at the shape on the drawing paper and said, "Zhuzhu wants to make a small cake. Let me see where this piece should be placed."
Zhuzhu stretched out her little hand and pointed at the half-finished cake model.
"Ah, that's smart." There happened to be a vacant space over there that would fit the bill.
The pictures on the model are all piglets.
"Zhuzhu, can you help me find a building block with a piggy tail pattern?" Xu Chunian studied the cake pattern.
Zhuzhu rummaged through a pile of building blocks and found a building block with a piggy tail pattern and handed it to her.
It was rare for Xu Chunian to calm down, and she didn't even notice that her eyes softened unconsciously when she looked at Zhuzhu.
Bai Hui had scolded her many times in the past, saying that she had a thorn on her butt and couldn't sit still, but she stayed with Zhuzhu to play with building blocks for an entire afternoon.
It wasn't until the aroma from the kitchen wafted out that Xu Chunian's gluttony was aroused.
Come to think of it, she hasn't eaten the braised spareribs made by her father for a long time. She was a sophomore at the age of 18 and had to stay in school until the long vacation. Xu Zhen was busy with work and seldom cooked, so they hired an aunt to cook for her. Only on special holidays did Xu Zhen cook in person.
Xu Chunian put the building blocks in his hand together and said, "Zhuzhu, I'm going to steal some delicious food for you."
As she said that, she stood up and walked towards the kitchen. Zhuzhu stared at her back closely.
Xu Chunian entered the kitchen and saw the fresh braised spareribs coming out of the oven.
"Hungry." Bai Hui glanced at her.
"I'm hungry." Xu Chunian pouted and hugged her father's fat waist in a flattering manner. "Daddy, after all these years, your cooking skills have not diminished."
"Go away, it's so hot." Xu Zhen struggled in disgust.
"Oh my, oh my." Xu Chunian turned around and hugged her mother, "Mommy, I'm hungry, food."
Bai Hui poked her head, knowing what she was like, "Get it yourself."
"Okay." Xu Chunian let go of her, washed his hands, picked up the braised spare ribs next to him and put them into his mouth.
"hiss."
"Hot! This girl." Bai Hui let out a light click of the tongue.
Xu Chunian stir-fried it twice in his mouth, then picked up a piece of pork ribs and left the kitchen.
Xu Zhen looked at her graceful back with deep eyes, "Strange, why do I seem to see Nian Nian when she was little?"
As he said this, he shook his head and turned to wash the pot.
I haven't seen such a scene for a long time.
