Chapter 159 Second Prize?

Chapter 159 Second Prize

Zhuzhu was sent to Xu's house. Bai Hui was going to school at the time, so she took her with her.

Xu Chunian found the studio according to the address on the email

Jiang Huaixu parked the car and handed her an umbrella. "Call me when you're done."

"OK."

She opened the car door, and the drizzling rain outside drifted in. Xu Chunian opened her umbrella and said, "I'm leaving."

The car stopped on a relatively drier piece of land. Xu Chunian walked into the rain holding an umbrella. The mist and rain were hazy, and she looked a little unreal. Her slender back was mostly covered by the umbrella.

Jiang Huaixu suddenly panicked for no reason and honked the horn. Xu Chunian subconsciously looked back and saw one side of the car window rolled down, letting in rain.

Xu Chunian took a few steps back and asked, "What's wrong?"

Jiang Huaixu placed one hand on the steering wheel, his sharp eyes and brows showing a hint of something difficult to read.

Xu Chunian waited for his next words.

"I'll wait for you outside."

"No, I don't know when it will end." Xu Chunian raised his voice.

"It's okay, I'll wait for you, come in quickly." Jiang Huaixu tried hard to suppress the uneasiness in his heart.

Xu Chunian stopped arguing with him and just nodded, "Close the car window."

"Um."

Jiang Huaixu watched her disappear at the gate before he let out a breath, took the computer from the back seat and started working.

The security guard at the door let her in after receiving her invitation.

This studio was casual and very unlike a studio. In the corridor, she saw a familiar figure.

"Mr. Guyou?"

Gu You had long, artistic hair tied into a small bun. When she turned around and saw Xu Chunian, she was a little surprised, "Ms. Xu."

"You still remember me?" Xu Chunian smiled knowingly, "We met at the photography exhibition last time."

"To be precise, we have met a long time ago." Gu You raised his eyebrows.

Xu Chunian was a little embarrassed. "Maybe every time I see you, I feel like I am an idol. I always feel like I am the only one who notices you."

Gu You was amused by her, "Ms. Xu is really likable. We don't have time to reminisce today because I have to go on a business trip."

Xu Chunian quickly moved away, "Then I won't delay you."

Gu You nodded at her, took two steps, and suddenly turned back, "Your photography works have been submitted here, right?"

Xu Chunian nodded.

Gu You patted his head and said, "My memory is getting worse and worse. I saw yours yesterday. Second prize is already very good."

"Thank you." Xu Chunian was delighted.

Gu You looked at the time helplessly, "It's really too late. Let's talk when I come back. You are very talented, Miss Xu."

Xu Chunian watched him jogging to the front of the car before she turned around and walked inside. There was an open-air courtyard across the corridor and the studio was just opposite.

She put away her umbrella and knocked on the door. The person inside was busy reviewing the documents. Hearing the noise, he looked up at her and said, "Hello, are you the teacher who received the invitation to take the photo?"

"Uh, yes." Xu Chunian nodded, "My name is Xu Chunian."

The person inside looked at it on the computer and gestured to her, "Teacher, the exhibition hall is upstairs, you can visit it at will."

Xu Chunian was confused.

Seeing that she was a little confused, the lady continued, "Don't be discouraged. The invitation means that you are a little short of feeling that your work will have the opportunity to be exhibited, so you can visit it in advance before the exhibition, and you will have the opportunity to re-submit a new entry."

This means that her work was not selected.

"Excuse me, I just ran into Mr. Gu You outside, and he said my work won a prize."

"Teacher Gu You? This batch of entries is not under his jurisdiction."
