Chapter 22 Quarrel
"Brother Huaixu, you haven't told me when you will come back," Lan Xin asked.
Jiang Huaixu sighed impatiently, "I'm going to the bathroom."
Before Xu Chunian could sigh at the man's virtue, the cold light in Lan Xin's eyes shot towards her.
Zhuzhu has no sense of existence no matter where she is. When adults are talking, she just lowers her head and touches the pig doll in her hand.
The atmosphere in the room was quite quiet, with only the sound of Jiang Mingqian and Jiang Huaixu asking and answering each other.
"Sir and Madam, dinner is ready." The servant broke the silence.
"Where is Xiaochen?" Jiang Mingqian asked.
"He hasn't come back yet." Lan Yueying, who had been silent the whole time, said, "Ignore him, everyone go to the table first."
As he was speaking, there was a sound of a door opening outside.
Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw a boy of perhaps 18 years old, holding a basketball, with beads of sweat dripping down his forehead. He was panting, and his features looked somewhat like Jiang Huaixu.
"Mom and Dad." Jiang Jingchen called out, his eyes falling on Jiang Huaixu.
Jiang Huaixu didn't look at him and put the teacup in his hand on the tea table.
When he saw Xu Chunian, there was obvious disgust in his eyes.
Xu Chunian withdrew her gaze and understood in her heart that she had never met Jiang Huaixu's younger brother at the age of 18, and he disliked her the first time they met.
Lan Yueying then stood up and said, "Why are you sweating so much? Go wash up, why are you running back here?"
Jiang Jingchen scratched his head and said, "No, I didn't run back. I just walked a little faster."

On the dining table
There was the sound of dishes and chopsticks colliding. There was no food for children at home. Zhuzhu used a spoon and Xu Chunian simply fed her.
Zhuzhu grabbed the little pig, opened its mouth obediently, and ate whatever was fed to it.
"Why are you playing with toys while eating?" Jiang Mingqian stared at the pig in Zhuzhu's hand with some displeasure. "Don't you teach them table manners at this age? Children from poor families all behave like this."
The sudden voice startled Zhuzhu, and she looked at him timidly with her big eyes like black grapes.
Lan Yueying patted Jiang Mingqian's hand and said, "Little kid, why are you arguing with her?"
"A child is. He is almost three years old and can't even speak. Of course he is a child."
Xu Chunian had been mute for the entire afternoon, and now she understood that this family was very arrogant and looked down on her as a daughter-in-law who was not a good match for them. They even disliked Zhuzhu, and had not even glanced at her since she came in the afternoon.
"Zhuzhu is not even three years old yet and is not very skilled in using chopsticks. At home, I always use children's chopsticks, and outside, I always feed her."
Jiang Mingqian was already dissatisfied with her, so he put down his chopsticks and asked, "Is this how you talk to your elders?"
"Of course you don't speak like that to a respected elder." Xu Chunian was not afraid of him at all.
"you……"
"Okay, okay, it's my fault. I should have thought that Zhuzhu still can't use chopsticks." Lan Yueying came out to smooth things over.
"How can I blame you? Jingchen knew how to eat and put away his toys when he was only three years old."
He spoke in a sarcastic tone, hinting at something, without even waiting for Xu Chunian to speak.
Jiang Huaixu placed his chopsticks heavily on the table and asked, "Do we have to quarrel every month when we come back?"
"If you find someone who knows the big picture, we won't argue even if you come back every day."
Xu Chunian also put the chopsticks on the table, "Who doesn't know the big picture? Who wouldn't go crazy if they met a picky father?"
"Who do you think is Guimao's father?"
"You." Xu Chunian let go of his voice, "You are Guimao's father."
