Zhuzhu's School Days
When Zhuzhu was three years old, she officially started going to school. Xu Chunian looked for several kindergartens in City A and finally decided on one.
Early in the morning, Zhuzhu got up from the bed and stood on a small stool to rinse her mouth.
When I opened the door, I ran into Jiang Huaixu who pushed the door open.
"Why did you get up so early today?" Jiang Huaixu picked her up with one hand.
Zhuzhu hugged her father's neck and narrowed her eyes with a smile, "Zhuzhu has to go to school today."
Jiang Huaixu carried her downstairs, "So happy?"
Zhuzhu nodded heavily.
They were halfway through their meal when Xu Chunian came downstairs.
"Good morning, Mom."
"Good morning." Xu Chunian yawned.
Jiang Huaixu handed her the milk and asked, "Why don't you sleep a little longer?"
Xu Chunian held the cup and looked at the little piggy who was eating obediently in front of him, "Zhuzhu is going to school today."
Xu Chunian started to get anxious last night, fearing that the previous situation would happen again. She felt distressed when she thought of Zhuzhu hiding in the corner and secretly wiping her tears. The little girl would not complain, and would only look at them pitifully when she was wronged.
"Don't worry, baby, our Zhuzhu can already make friends on her own."
Xu Chunian nodded and ate the crab roe bun with a fork.
After Zhuzhu finished her meal, she chose her own clothes and asked Xu Chunian to change them for her. She then braided her hair into two small braids.
Mom and Dad sent her to school together. Zhuzhu was happier than before and kept talking all the way like a little loudspeaker.
When they arrived, Jiang Huaixu carried her to the door, and Zhuzhu suddenly waved, "Mom."
Xu Chunian moved closer.
Zhuzhu held her face with her soft little hands, "Just stay home and be good. Zhuzhu will play with you when she gets home from school."
Xu Chunian pinched her little face, "I know, baby, if you are unhappy, tell the kindergarten teacher and mom will come to pick you up, okay?"
"Uh-huh."
Jiang Huaixu put her down, and the teacher in the garden took the schoolbag from Jiang Huaixu and led her in.
Zhuzhu even turned around and waved to them.
Xu Chunian kept looking at her back.
Jiang Huaixu held her in his arms and said, "Don't worry, trust our baby."
Xu Chunian's separation anxiety came back, "What if Zhuzhu is bullied?"
Jiang Huaixu kissed her soothingly, "Don't be afraid, on the first day of school, the teacher will post a video in the group."
Xu Chunian hugged his waist. She was so small, and he missed her as soon as she left.
…
Zhuzhu was brought into the classroom and she saw a familiar face.
The little girl happened to look at her, "Zhuzhu?"
"Miaomiao." Zhuzhu walked towards her.
Miaomiao took her hand and said, "Can we sit together?"
"OK."
Today is the first day of kindergarten. The children couldn’t adapt well and started crying after a while.
Zhuzhu didn't want to cry at first, but she was also driven by this emotion. She pouted and had big watery eyes, looking pitiful.
Miaomiao came up to her and said, "Don't be sad, you can see mom and dad in the afternoon."
Zhuzhu quickly wiped away her tears and said, "Don't cry, mom will cry too."
Miaomiao took out her small water cup and said, "My mother cried too."
The kindergarten teacher quickly led everyone to play games, and after playing for a while, the dark clouds of sadness over the children’s heads dissipated.
Then the children began to introduce themselves. Every time they spoke, the teacher applauded and praised them, and the emotional value was maximized.
When it was Zhuzhu's turn, she stood on the small podium, feeling a little shy.
The teacher asked, "What's your name?"
Zhuzhu grabbed the pig in her hand and said, "Jiang Yuchu, still call me Zhuzhu."
The teacher squatted beside him with a smile, "Zhuzhu didn't cry just now, right?"
Zhuzhu nodded.
"Brave little boy." The teacher then asked, "What game does Zhuzhu like to play most at home?"
"I like playing with my mom the most, counting on my dad's back, and building Lego."
“Great!”
…
After school in the afternoon, Zhuzhu saw her parents outside the door from a distance. She grinned sweetly and rushed into Xu Chunian's arms like a small cannonball, "Mom and Dad."
After washing at night
Xu Chunian leaned against the head of the bed, "Baby, are you happy at school?"
"Happy." Zhuzhu nestled in Xu Chunian's arms, "Zhuzhu made a good friend at school, her name is Miaomiao."
Xu Chunian saw the video sent by the teacher in the afternoon. Because the little pig can count from one to one hundred and build many beautiful Legos, he has gained many good friends.
When the teacher was leading the children in doing handicrafts, Zhuzhu was very focused and careful, so she was always the first to finish and would help other children.
The little pig was talking about interesting things that happened at school and he fell asleep.
Jiang Huaixu put one hand behind his head and asked, "What are you thinking about?"
Xu Chunian looked at Zhuzhu's sleeping face and said, "I'm a little happy. Zhuzhu is finally not hiding in the corner playing by herself."
Jiang Huaixu curled his lips and looked at her gently, with thousands of stars in his eyes.
Their happiness seemed endless.
