Ji Changning v Si Chen (1)
In the hospital, there was a pungent smell of disinfectant and the sound of messy footsteps.
Ji Changning seemed to have lost his soul, walking in the hospital corridor with a medical examination report in his hand.
The nurses coming and going carefully bumped into her shoulders, apologized, and hurried away.
"Miss Ji, you are pregnant, five weeks, and the fetus is healthy."
The doctor's words kept echoing in my mind.
After leaving the hospital, the weather in April was not too cold, but her feet were still cold.
The phone in his pocket vibrated, and Ji Changning came back to his senses. He took out his phone, took a look at it, and swiped to answer the call.
Before she could speak, Ji's mother's questioning voice came from the phone, "Where have you been? How long do you want us to wait for you?"
"What are you waiting for me for?"
"Didn't I tell you yesterday? I'm meeting Xiao Yan today. Look at what time it is now."
The nausea came back again, and Ji Changning leaned against the white wall behind him to relax.
"Ji Changning? Did you listen to me?"
"I didn't promise you anything. If you want to see me, do it yourself!"
"you……"
"That's enough. I didn't spend your money last year. You have the obligation to support me until I'm 18. After that, you should stop caring about me."
"season……"
Ji Changning was too lazy to listen and hung up the phone.
I leaned against the wall and waited for the nausea to subside before I hailed a car and went back to my residence.
The rental house was cramped and damp. There had been heavy rain the previous two days, and water was sliding down the walls in the corners of the house.
Small bed
Ji Changning stared at the yellow ceiling with empty eyes, reached for the cell phone next to him and made a call.
"Hello, I want to make an appointment for an abortion."
…
After an unknown amount of time, there was a knock on the door. Ji Changning frowned irritably and pulled the quilt over his head.
The noise outside the door was getting louder and louder. Ji Changning got out of bed barefoot and suddenly opened the door. "What on earth are you going to do?"
Mother Ji was startled and pulled her shawl closer. "Ji Changning, you are really capable!"
Ji Changning looked at her coldly, "I won't go back with you."
Hearing this, Ji's mother glanced at her indifferently, and took a look behind her inconspicuously, and saw the layout that could be seen clearly at a glance.
"You are quite a promising person. You have stayed here for two years without saying a word."
Ji Changning sneered, "It's better than staying in your house and being sold by you."
"Ji Changning!" Ji's mother shouted coldly, "You don't know what's good for you. Who am I doing this for?"
"You did it for yourself." Ji Changning grabbed the hem of his clothes, "To sell your daughter for a good price, at least to please the Qin family."
"Pa" Ji's mother raised her hand and slapped Ji Changning's face, making it tilt to the side.
"I shouldn't have brought you here in the first place!"
"I have no choice at all." Ji Changning sneered.
Mother Ji said indifferently, "You are a burden. Do you know how much you have delayed me? I should have thrown you in Qingshi Town. They value sons over daughters and were reluctant to give you their surname. You still miss them now. You are such an ungrateful person, just like your biological father."
Ji Changning stood there in a daze.
"You're right. I tried to please the Qin family, so have I given you less food or clothes over the years?" Mother Ji looked at her indifferently. "Ji Changning, I don't owe you anything. You're such a burden. I could have just left you in Qingshi Town and left you with no chance of success for the rest of your life!"
Ji Changning pursed his lips and suddenly laughed, "Yes, you wanted to give me to those old men when you were 16. This was also for my own good. At the age of 18, the man you were looking at was older than my father. I think you were looking for a good way out for yourself!"
"And." She choked up a little, "From childhood to adulthood, when have you ever stood by me? You lived in fear in the Qin family, and I was not the same, right? I was bullied and slandered, where were you? If you had said a word for me, I would not have..."
