Ji Changning v Si Chen (4)

Ji Changning v Si Chen (4)

The marriage proposal was made last night, the agreement was signed the next morning, and the marriage certificate was obtained in the afternoon.

Ji Changning was stunned the whole time until the marriage certificate in his hand was taken away.

"Are you going to move things?" Si Chen drove a G-Class and attracted a lot of people to watch at the entrance of the Civil Affairs Bureau.

Ji Changning came back to his senses and nodded, "Yes, I can go by myself. I don't have much."

"Let's go, I'm free today."

The car stopped at the gate of the residential community, an old community with not many people around. Ji Changning took Si Chen in.

Upstairs, Ji Changning used the key to open the door, and the furniture inside was visible at a glance: an old iron bed covered with a pink quilt, a wooden table and several wooden chairs, the curtains had been washed so hard that the color could not be seen, and the paint on the walls was about to fall off.

You can still smell the scent of sunshine in the room. The furniture is neatly arranged and orderly displayed. Si Chen frowned slightly.

"Wait here for me, I'll pack it up quickly."

Si Chen stood at the door, "Is it inconvenient for me to come in?"

Ji Changning paused, "Okay, just find a place to sit down."

Si Chen sat on the wooden chair and waited for a while. Ji Changning didn't have much stuff, so she packed it quickly, and put it all in a small box.

Seeing that she had almost finished packing, Si Chen walked forward and took the box from her hand.

"Thanks."

Back at the villa, Si Chen helped her put the box into the bedroom, "I'll take you for a checkup tomorrow, you should have a good rest."

"good."

I felt a little uncomfortable when I first got pregnant, and the doctor recommended that I rest.

Ji Changning is a sophomore at University A. The Si family suggested that she take a leave of absence, but Ji Changning refused because she knows her limits.

The Si family's parents were also easy to get along with. They gave her several thick red envelopes on the day they met, and Si Chen also slipped her a card. She accepted it all with just a superficial politeness.

Ji Changning only quit her part-time job. She would not do such a thing that would require no hardship. Since it was a contractual marriage, it would be beneficial to both parties. The Si family was wealthy, and Si Chen undoubtedly chose to marry her for the child. In this way, she was obviously at a disadvantage.

But it doesn't matter, she will make good use of this relationship.

Neither the Si family nor the Ji family can hold her back.

A Gate

When Ji Changning came out, she straightened her clothes and took out her cell phone to check the time. The professor had suddenly announced that there was a lecture in the afternoon, so the class this afternoon was cancelled.

There was no time to notify Si's driver and send the message out.

"Ji Changning." A familiar female voice came.

Ji Changning frowned impatiently and looked up.

"Where have you been these days?" she asked right away.

"What do you want from me?"

Mother Ji gathered her clothes and said, "Come back with me."

"Where to go?"

"I told you last time, you didn't say anything, at least give them an explanation."

Ji Changning sneered, "You are the one who gave the benefits, why should I give him an explanation?"

Ji's mother was too lazy to talk nonsense and grabbed her wrist.

"Let me go!" Ji Changning pushed her away forcefully.

The bag in his hand fell to the ground and the contents spilled out.

"What did you say you gave him? Yan Lei said that you told him to come over to discuss the marriage. Now that several families have gathered together, you're playing hide-and-seek with me again." Ji's mother shook off her hand.

"Yeah, he's not coming? What else are you dissatisfied with?" Ji Changning looked at her coldly.

Their voices were quite loud and people around them kept looking at them.

Mother Ji adjusted her hair and said, "Let's talk about it somewhere else."

"I'm busy!" Ji Changning squatted down to pick up the fallen book.

"You..." Ji's mother suddenly saw a piece of paper fall out from the side of the bag. She frowned and squatted down to pick it up.

Confirmation of termination of pregnancy.

There is also Ji Changning’s signature below.

"Are you pregnant?"
