Chapter 33 Don't Believe Him

When the Queen heard that it was sent by the Prince, her face suddenly darkened.

She looked at her son's face which turned pale with pain, and wiped the sweat from his forehead with a handkerchief. She found that her son had fallen into a coma, and her hands were shaking with fear.

"Yu'er, don't scare your mother."

In a hurry, she forgot her identity as the queen and shouted at the servants: "Where is Doctor Yu? You dogs are taking care of my son like this? What's the point of keeping you?"

Seeing that her master was fainted, Xiao Guizi almost fainted with fright, "Reporting to the Queen, the doctor has been summoned and is on the way."

"Doctor Yu is here."

Just as he finished speaking, several doctors strode in carrying medicine boxes.

"Poisoned?" The Queen's legs went limp and she fell directly onto the chair. Thinking that the roasted lamb was sent by the Crown Prince, she flew into a rage: "Eunuch Ren, go and ask the Crown Prince to come over."

"Yes." Eunuch Ren took the order and hurriedly left.

The queen looked at her son lying unconscious on the bed and yelled at Doctor Yu: "What are you doing? Quickly detoxify Yu'er. If anything happens to Yu'er, I will bury you all with him."

The doctors were so scared that their legs went limp. "Quick, prepare the medicine quickly."

Several doctors gathered together to study the medicine.

Eunuch Ren lowered his brows and nodded: "Your Highness, the Queen Mother asks the Crown Prince to go to Qiancheng Palace."

Xiao Jinyan had a bad feeling when he heard about Qiancheng Hall. He looked at Eunuch Ren and asked in a deep voice, "Eunuch Ren, do you know why my mother asked me to go to Qiancheng Hall so late?"

"You will know when you go there, Your Highness." Eunuch Ren did not show his feelings on his face, but he thought in his heart that if he murdered his own brother, the position of the crown prince would probably be unstable.

Xiao Jinyan quickly guessed that something had happened to Xiao Jinyu and that it was related to him.

"I will go to Qiancheng Palace as soon as I change my clothes."

Xiao Jinyan picked up the clothes on the hanger and put them on while replying, "Jinyu is in trouble."

Shen Chuwei was not fully awake yet. She thought for a while before she remembered that Jinyu was Xiao Jinyan's younger brother, and that Xiao Jinyan had asked Eunuch Liu to send roasted lamb to Xiao Jinyu tonight.

"Your Highness, is it serious?"

Xiao Jinyan's eyes were solemn, "Yeah."

Eunuch Ren said that he was plotting to murder his own brother, which means that Jinyu is in danger at the moment.

Shen Chuwei was now fully awake. Seeing Xiao Jinyan's serious eyes, it was the first time she saw him with such an expression.
