Thanks to the Piranha Plant Yun: "..."
He first wiped his mouth, then pressed his throbbing forehead hard, and began to think about how to get these two drunk guys back.
"I feel so dizzy," An Meng murmured with her eyes slightly closed, "Where's the Piranha Plant?"
"Come out! I'll accept you even if you're a Piranha Plant! Let me kiss you again!"
"You are drunk." Xie Yun walked around the table and felt the temperature of An Meng's forehead with the back of his hand. It was burning.
Feeling the cool temperature, An Meng held his hand tightly, mumbling, "Who's drunk? I'm not!"
"The carnivorous plant is gone, I'm so miserable!" An Meng drawled out.
"I'm not drunk either!" Zhou Yucheng slammed the table and followed suit: "Who is more miserable than me?"
"My father doesn't love me, my stepmother is scheming," he sobbed loudly, "and I'm even forced to play on the bungee jumping machine!"
An Meng agreed very much and sobbed, "It's all miserable, it's all miserable, it's all my fault, my fault."
"No, you're not wrong!" Zhou Yucheng was completely drunk, but he still knew how to be a yes-man: "It's God who is wrong!"
An Meng roared: "Who will be spared by heaven——"
"Enough! Shut up!" Xie Yun pulled his hand out with difficulty, and a crack suddenly appeared on his calm expression.
After wiping the tears and snot from his hands with a frown, Xie Yun dragged the two drunks out of the bar with difficulty, one in each hand.
He took out his cell phone and called a ride for Zhou Yucheng. After telling him the address, Xie Yun watched the ride carrying Zhou Yucheng away.
An Meng leaned on Xie Yun's arm and sang incoherently, "You tell me why, it's all my fault."
"Just drink less food." Xie Yun stared at An Meng's clueless face for a moment, then leaned down and said, "Come up."
The car was in the parking lot, and they were still some distance away from the parking lot, so they had to carry An Meng there themselves.
After getting drunk, An Meng became particularly obedient and climbed onto Xie Yun's back obediently.
The alcohol made her feel hot all over, and Xie Yun seemed particularly cool.
An Meng rubbed her face on Xie Yun's shoulder, and her hands touched his chest restlessly a few times.
This wall feels pretty good, soft yet firm.
[No, why am I trapped in the wall? Where is Xie Yun and Zhou Yucheng?]
[Let me go, I want to go back, they are still waiting for me to rescue them.]
Xie Yun's face darkened, and he really wanted to just throw An Meng away.
"Get out if you touch me again." He finally said coldly.
Perhaps because the threat in Xie Yun's tone was very obvious, An Meng stopped touching him and put her arms around his neck obediently.
She could still understand what people said, and Xie Yun suddenly began to doubt that An Meng was not drunk at all!
"It's all my fault!" An Meng cried out, "Please forgive me!"
The deafening, off-tune singing attracted the attention of passers-by, who gave them strange looks.
For a moment, Xie Yun just wanted to pretend that he had nothing to do with this drunkard.
He held An Meng's knees with both hands and shook them up.
Xie Yun adjusted his breathing as pain came over his left back, which had not yet recovered.
An Meng felt insecure as her body left the ground, so she subconsciously increased the strength of her hands to find a support point.
"Loosen up," Xie Yun was suffocated by her arms, and was a little worried whether An Meng could understand, "I'm almost dying."
The arm around her neck quickly loosened its grip, and An Meng muttered softly, "Strange, Xie Yun, I dreamed a Piranha plant lifted me up into the air and said he was about to die."
"..." Xie·Carnivorous Plant·Yun walked forward slowly. The night sky and the breeze blew on his face, bringing a few hints of coolness.
After walking a short distance, the hustle and bustle of the bar district was left far behind, leaving only Xie Yun's slow and subtle footsteps.
An Meng gradually became quiet, just when Xie Yun thought she had fallen asleep.
"Xie Yun." An Meng suddenly spoke.
"Do you know why some parents don't love their children? Just like Zhou Yucheng's father."
Xie Yun blinked, staring blankly at the warm yellow glow of the street lamp in the distance, without saying a word.
"I don't know." An Meng sniffed.
Xie Yun wanted to throw her down again: "Don't rub your snot on my clothes."
"Oh," An Mengci said in a hushed voice, "I don't have parents."
Xie Yun hummed: "Me neither."
"But at least you've seen them," An Meng's logic was quite clear. "I haven't seen my parents since I can remember."
"Then you are really miserable." Xie Yun commented concisely.
"No, not really," An Meng was unwilling to accept it and subconsciously began to compare: "I still have a master."
"My master picked me up," she said halfway, then continued her bitter complaint: "My parents must have thrown me away."
Xie Yun didn't know what to say, so he just remained silent.
"Xie Yun," An Meng refused to let him have his way and called Xie Yun by her name. "Why can some parents not love their children?"
"Just because a child doesn't meet their expectations, can they just abandon it?"
It was getting darker and darker, and the dark night covered the entire sky. There were few pedestrians on the road, and they all looked hurried.
The weight on his back was so heavy that Xie Yunwei panted and thought for a few seconds: "I don't know."
An Meng was a little proud: "I knew you wouldn't be able to figure it out."
She said: "After all, I have thought about it for so many years, but I still don't understand it."
"Perhaps," Xie Yun murmured softly, "It's not that they don't love each other, but maybe they have to do this for some reason?"
The Long Island Iced Tea was quite strong, and An Meng felt dizzy and the whole world seemed to be spinning before her eyes.
