A smile curved Wen Zhaoye's lips, his dark eyes burning with desire. He pulled her into his arms, burying his handsome face in her neck, and sighed:
"You like me so much, and you can analyze things rationally. Our marriage is sure to be smooth sailing in this lifetime."
Wen Jiaojiao gave him a look that said he was a waste of his villainous identity, but her tone was gentle as she said:
"Brother, I'm going back to work now. I still haven't figured it out after all this time."
Wen Zhaoye pulled her to sit down at the desk, his large hand encircling her lower back, while his other hand flipped through the contract, saying:
"What work are you doing? Since you miss me, then stay by my side and keep a close eye on me."
Wen Jiaojiao said, "After all, we're not married. Is it appropriate for us to hug and cuddle like this? If someone comes in, they'll start guessing what we've been doing."
Wen Zhaoye tilted his head and looked at her with doting eyes:
"It's okay, anyway, neither of us has a good reputation in this regard."
Wen Jiaojiao rested her chin on her hand, a slight smile playing on her lips. Her delicate face was bright and innocent. She raised her fingertip and gently tapped his forehead.
"Look how pleased you are with yourself. You have a bad reputation, yet you're still so proud?"
Wen Zhaoye glanced at the time on her watch, then suddenly leaned closer to her profile, his eyes fixed on her, his breath hot against her ear, his voice deep and magnetic:
"Let's go home later, honey."
Wen Jiaojiao understood his meaning perfectly well, but she pretended not to know and said, "Why go home? We provide food and drink here. Who goes home for lunch?"
Hearing her words, Wen Zhaoye paused for a moment, then chuckled softly, stood up, locked the door, and sat back down, his voice slightly unnatural as he said:
"I'm going home to take care of some things."
Wen Jiaojiao continued to pretend she didn't understand and said:
"What do you need me to do?"
