Chapter 169 Doing Things That Men and Women Should Do

Wen Zhaoye's handsome face was roguish, and a bright smile appeared in his eyes. He pushed his luck again, covering her eyes with one hand.

With his other hand around her waist and his chest pressed against her back, he finally eased the longing he had felt for her over the past few days.

Wen Jiaojiao: "..." This is confirmed, he is indeed a lecherous old man.

Wen Zhaoye wrote in her palm:

"What would you like to eat? I'll have them go buy it."

Wen Jiaojiao: "I want to go home."

Wen Zhaoye's smile paused for a moment, then widened as he wrote:

"My wound is so painful, I haven't eaten much since yesterday. Are you going to...?"

He hadn't finished writing when Wen Jiaojiao sighed and said:

"Alright, alright, you've done me a great favor, so I'll have to treat you to a meal to repay you."

Wen Zhaoye: "...."

Since you're unwilling to become the way you like...

Then just change to the type you prefer.

Li Zhu, who was outside the door, received a text message from Wen Zhaoye and quickly bought the food.

He had just walked into the hospital when he happened to run into Jiang Peitian, who was carrying a lunchbox. He stepped forward and stopped him, saying:

"Boss, the young master is with the young lady right now."

"They both said it out loud?"

Jiang Peitian had a bad feeling, fearing that Wen Jiaojiao would say a lot of bad things about him.

Li Zhu: "Sort of, but not really. The young master blindfolded the young lady and pretended to be mute while staying with her."

Jiang Peitian frowned: "..."

That's quite cautious.

Li Zhu looked at the lunchbox in his hand and said:

"Boss, if you show up now, you're likely to get into an argument or questioning with the lady. So, how about I give you the lunchbox and I'll take it in for you?"

Jiang Peitian had previously thought the two wouldn't have a chance to talk, and with his men all around, he didn't pay any attention to Wen Jiaojiao.

Now, who knew the two of them could pull this stunt? He didn't refuse and handed the lunchbox to him.

When Li Zhu walked in carrying the lunchbox, he saw Wen Zhaoye with his arm around Wen Jiaojiao, their faces beaming with happiness.

He didn't disturb them further, put down the lunchbox, and turned to leave.

Wen Zhaoye picked up the black cloth beside him, re-tied it over her eyes, and wrote:

"You're surrounded by my men. If you keep acting like this, don't blame me for doing something outrageous."

Wen Jiaojiao's face suddenly stiffened:

"Are you planning to have someone beat me up?"

Wen Zhaoye pondered for two seconds, then chuckled and wrote:

"Do things that men and women should do."

He felt that since he had been secretly pretending to be reserved and refined for so long, he still hadn't won Wen Jiaojiao's favor at all.

He might as well reveal his true nature. Anyway, as long as he doesn't expose his true identity, he won't reveal it. Maybe he can win her over.

Wen Jiaojiao dared not make any further small movements: "...."

This person is even wilder than Wen Zhaoye.

Wen Zhaoye opened the lunchbox, scooped out a spoonful, and held it to Wen Jiaojiao's lips. Wen Jiaojiao turned her head away and said:

"No need, I can do it myself."

Wen Zhaoye insisted on bringing it to her lips and wrote on her palm:

"Feeding you makes me very happy, and when I'm happy, my wound heals faster."

This kid knows about CPUs.

Wen Jiaojiao reluctantly opened her mouth to eat. She had just taken a bite when she made a soft "Hmm?" sound in her throat.

"Why does this sweet and sour pork ribs taste so much like the ones made by Jiang Peitian's housekeeper?"

Wen Zhaoye looked at the two different lunch boxes on the table, guessing that Jiang Peitian had asked someone to bring them from home. He didn't care much and insisted on feeding Wen Jiaojiao.

The meal was finished quickly, and Wen Jiaojiao stood up and said:

"I'm leaving now. It's probably getting late, and it wouldn't be good for people to know."

Just as Wen Jiaojiao was about to leave, she suddenly felt a cool sensation on her wrist, as if it were made of jade. She declined, saying:

"I can't accept this."

Wen Zhaoye insisted on wearing it on her wrist and wrote:

"She's a young lady, after all. How can she not have some jewelry on her body? Since they treat you badly, I'll treat you better from now on."

"I actually have money, but I used it all to buy a house. I'll tell you this in secret."

"Property prices and land prices in the entire port city will skyrocket in the future, so if you have spare cash, consider investing in this area."

Wen Jiaojiao insisted on taking it off, but Wen Zhaoye grabbed her slender wrist and forcefully put it back on for her. Only when she was less struggling did he write again:

"Consider this jewelry as payment for keeping me company while we chat. From now on, you just need to spend half a day with me every day."

Wen Jiaojiao didn't want to be held and fed by him again at all, so she politely said:

“I’m busy filming every day, so I don’t have time to come. I can tell this gift is very expensive just by touching the material, so I can’t accept it.”

Wen Zhaoye knew her working hours perfectly well. He raised a handsome eyebrow and wrote:

"If you don't come, I'll come to your room every night from now on."

Wen Jiaojiao: "..." Damn it, things change completely when we're together at night.

Wen Zhaoye enjoyed seeing her look so embarrassed. He smiled slightly and continued writing:

"If I show up in your room at night, I can't guarantee what might happen."

Wen Jiaojiao: "No, sir, I don't accept unspoken rules. If you're going to be so blatant, aren't you afraid of getting arrested?"

Wen Zhaoye's smile deepened as he wrote:

"If I could spend one night with you, I'd be willing to go to jail."

As long as I don't die, I'll keep looking for you after I get out. Even if I have to go to jail repeatedly, it'll be worth it.

Wen Jiaojiao understood the meaning after a bit of guessing and hesitation. Three black lines slid down her forehead, and she said speechlessly:

"I didn't realize you were so devoted to me."
