Several people looked up at the same time. Qi Ying lowered her eyes and said guiltily:
"Uncle, you're back!"
Jiang Peitian said coldly:
"Don't you know what good things you've done? How dare you spout nonsense here?"
Qi Ying retorted:
"I really got beaten up today. Didn't you see my face looked off?"
“Brother-in-law, when I found Qi Ying, she was lying on the roadside.”
Jiang Peitian sat back on the sofa with his long legs crossed, his eyes filled with coldness as he said:
"So you're blaming it on Jiang Jiaojiao?"
Qi Song said in a hard voice:
"Brother-in-law, who else could it be but her?"
Jiang Peitian knew perfectly well who did it, even with his toes pointing to the floor. He said coldly:
“Ah Long follows her around every day, so I know perfectly well whether she sent someone to beat you up.”
"Maybe she took advantage of Ah Long's inattention..."
Before she could finish speaking, Jiang Peitian gave a cold snort, and as the others trembled in fear, he glanced at them and said:
"Alright, haven't you caused enough trouble for our family yet?"
Qi Meijing was utterly heartbroken, and she questioned:
"What do you mean? Don't forget that you got to where you are today because of my family. Shouldn't we help them out now?"
Jiang Peitianhuo Avenue:
"Give them a hand? Don't think I don't know, the money you've sent back over the years is enough to buy three small companies."
"Back then, I relied on your family, but I made my own way in the world. So many years have passed; even the greatest debt of gratitude should have been repaid by now. And yet, you still bring up relying on your family whenever you encounter difficulties."
Qi Meijing's eyes filled with tears, and Qi Song comforted her:
“Brother-in-law, my sister didn’t mean it. Yingying was beaten today, and we just wanted to ask about it. You’ve already said it wasn’t him, so it must be a misunderstanding. Why make such a fuss?”
Jiang Peitian's dark eyes were filled with a fierce light as he said:
"I'll help settle things with Qi Ying today, but from now on... please don't come to my house so often."
Qi Meijing stood up, pointed at him, and said angrily:
"Jiang Peitian? Are you trying to make me sever ties with my family?"
Jiang Peitian narrowed his eyes slightly and said in a condescending manner:

Although Qi Song and Qi Ying were filled with anger, they dared not lash out because of his status.
Jiang Peitian turned and left, leaving the three of them behind. Qi Ying remembered that she still had scenes to film, so she didn't dare to delay and went to the film set despite her abdominal discomfort.
Ah Long had mentioned Qi Ying being beaten to Wen Jiaojiao. When she saw Qi Ying, she scoffed:
"Miss Qi is in great health. She fainted and was beaten, but now she's lively and energetic, ready to act again."
The jade bracelet incident was orchestrated by Jiang Peitian, but Lin Xueshu took the blame for it all.
Therefore, even though the production crew knew it was related to Qi Ying, they dared not say much. Qi Ying lacked confidence, but stubbornly insisted:
"What nonsense are you spouting? That's clearly Lin Xueshu's business alone; it has nothing to do with me."
I just felt sorry for her because she had lost her things, and I wanted to help her find out what happened. Who knew she would pull this stunt?
Wen Jiaojiao took a sip of tea, and under her angry glare, she said coldly:
"Anyway, everyone knows what's going on, but if you do anything disgusting again, don't blame me for taking a megaphone to the tallest building in Hong Kong and shouting it out."
Jiang Peitian could silence the reporters, but he couldn't silence the entire city's population.
Qi Ying never expected that a girl could say such a thing. After all, shouting through a megaphone was no different from a shrew throwing a tantrum in the market. Her shoulders trembled slightly with anger as she said:
"You barbarian."
Wen Jiaojiao threatened:
"I have even more savage methods. In short, if you dare to offend me, I won't let you off easily. I, Jiang Jiaojiao, am not afraid of losing face. Anyway, at the slightest sign of trouble, Jiang Peitian has already killed me. Now I'm completely lawless."

Ah Long poured himself a glass of water and said:
