The next day, Wen Jiaojiao had a scene to film in the evening, so she arrived at the hospital early in the morning and entered the ward as usual.
Wen Zhaoye looked at the handbag placed to the side, took her hand and wrote:
"I still have a gift I want to give you today."
Wen Jiaojiao, recalling the way she wanted to prove herself to Wen Zhaoye, lost her enthusiasm and said:
"I have something to ask of you."
Wen Zhaoye's eyes lit up, and a wide smile spread across his lips. He guessed what she wanted, but pretended not to know:
"What's up?"
Wen Jiaojiao said embarrassedly:
“A man is pursuing me, really hard, and he's a nice guy. I don't want anyone to hurt him, so I wanted to persuade him to go home. But he said he won't leave until I prove I have a man. So, can I ask you to play the role?”
It seems they do have some conscience towards me after all.
In a very good mood, Wen Zhaoye wrote again:
"How to play the role."
Wen Jiaojiao lowered her head and said in a weak voice:
"You just need to tell Ah Long that I kissed you, and then have Ah Long tell that person, and that will prove it."
Wen Zhaoye hadn't expected that she could skip this step. He licked his back teeth with the tip of his tongue and wrote again:
"But you've never kissed me, I can't lie."
Wen Jiaojiao said in an unnatural voice:
"Could we make an exception for you?"
Wen Zhaoye wrote:
"What makes you ask me to make an exception? If it's because you're my wife, then I'll definitely do it. Otherwise, it can only mean that this actually happened."
Wen Jiaojiao hesitated for a moment, then said embarrassedly:
"Maybe we should just forget about it. I just don't feel comfortable kissing you."
Wen Zhaoye pressed his thin lips together and wrote in her palm:
"Since you've brought it up, and it's piqued my interest, then... I'll just give you a kiss, it'll have the same effect anyway."
After saying that, he cupped her face in his hands. Wen Jiaojiao took a step back in alarm, knowing she couldn't refuse, but if she let him control the pace, it certainly wouldn't be just a light kiss on the cheek.
She decisively cupped his face and gave him a light, fleeting kiss on the cheek:
"Alright, it really happened. Have Ah Long tell him, and whatever you do, don't hurt him."
Wen Zhaoye chuckled lightly, then wrote:
"Since you kissed me, I have to return the kiss first."
Wen Jiaojiao was slightly stunned. Before she could process the meaning of the words in her palm, the back of her head was grabbed by a large hand, and her lips came with a suffocating crushing sensation.
She struggled and pushed him away, but Wen Zhaoye held her hands and neck firmly with one hand and kissed her deeply and forcefully.
These two are all beasts.
Wen Jiaojiao's voice escaped from between their tightly pressed lips:
"Let me go."
Wen Zhaoye pulled her into his arms, gazing at her tenderly. No matter how she struggled, he methodically followed her rosy lips down to kiss her slender white neck.
After a long while, he finally let her go.
Wen Jiaojiao sat in the chair, her crimson lips slightly parted, panting heavily. She said angrily:
"Why are you treating me like this? I was just being polite, and you've already harassed me."
Wen Zhaoye held her in his arms with one arm, but in the end, he didn't dare to make a sound.
Wen Jiaojiao pushed away his embrace, unable to stop herself from sobbing softly:
"You've already kissed him, can you tell Ah Long?"
Wen Zhaoye took her hand and patiently wrote:
"Okay, but don't cry, or I'll kiss you until you stop crying."
This trick worked! Wen Jiaojiao immediately stopped talking and froze, her expression stunned.
"Why... why are you not following the rules? Who advises a girl like that?" She's clearly the same type as Wen Zhaoye, so why is there such a big difference between them in this regard? She was just about to cry and ask him not to come back, but now she can't continue at all.
Wen Zhaoye saw through her thoughts and wrote down directly:
"Because that won't work for you, and you'll just take advantage of the situation."
Wen Jiaojiao's little secret was exposed, and she awkwardly wiped away her tears: "..."
This person is much more difficult to deal with than Wen Zhaoye.
The next second, she felt a cool sensation on her neck. She raised her hand to touch it and found it was a necklace.
"Is this what you were going to give me?"
Wen Zhaoye wrote:
"This is a separate one." So that you won't think I'm a bad person after reading that one. Combining the two, at least you'll have some consideration for me, okay?
Wen Jiaojiao touched the shape of the necklace, roughly sensing it was a thin gold chain. She sighed.
"If you keep sending me gifts every day, I can't possibly repay them all."
Wen Zhaoye's lips curled into a playful smile:
"I don't expect you to pay me back. Just repay me with your body in the future. Consider it as preparing the three gold pieces for my wife in advance. After all, we've already kissed. It wouldn't be right not to take responsibility."
Wen Jiaojiao realized what was meant, and she hurriedly raised her hand, taking off the necklace and saying:
"Don't overthink it. I don't agree. I'll just give it all back to you."
As she spoke, she carefully removed the jade bracelet again.
Wen Zhaoye stopped her and wrote:
"I don't mean to take responsibility for you, but rather you should take responsibility for me, since you were the one who initiated the kiss."
Wen Jiaojiao's voice suddenly rose:
"How could this be?" Wen Zhaoye has really ruined me. Am I really going to marry this guy whose looks are questionable?
Wen Zhaoye pulled her into his arms, leaned down, and whispered in her ear, "..."
If I weren't assertive, would I be able to trap you?
This person really knows how to take advantage. Wen Jiaojiao tried to push him away a couple of times but couldn't, and felt utterly exhausted, saying:
"You really want to marry me?"
