Wen Jiaojiao wasn't sleeping soundly. She grumbled uncomfortably and turned over to lie flat on her back.
Wen Zhaoye stood by the bed with his hands on his hips, his eyes fixed on her chest with lust, the corners of his lips, which had been slightly pursed in displeasure, gradually turning upwards:
"Alright, you've already kissed and touched me, so... I'll give it back to you, so you won't be so craving it."
After speaking, a shy smile appeared on his handsome face. He bent down and kissed her fair and tender face, his large hand reaching inside her clothes to gently caress her delicate flesh.
Wen Jiaojiao uncomfortably closed her beautiful eyes, staring at him unfocusedly, and mumbled indistinctly:
"What are you doing?"
Wen Zhaoye froze, his heart leaping into his throat. He looked up and pulled back a short distance to meet her gaze, then awkwardly explained:
"Jiaojiao, I'm willing to take responsibility, but..."
Wen Jiaojiao's mind was foggy and she hadn't heard him clearly at all. Before he could finish speaking, she couldn't resist the drowsiness and closed her eyes again, mumbling:
"Hey, my brother isn't some greasy old pervert. This dream is just a fantasy."
Her voice grew increasingly faint and indistinct, before her even breathing resumed.
Wen Zhaoye breathed a huge sigh of relief. Before he could even get up, he suddenly heard a roar behind him:
"Zhaoye, why are you running so fast? Didn't you hear me calling you for ages?"
Wen Zhaoye turned his head stiffly, thankfully not seeing anyone. His heart pounded, and he stood up, pretending nothing had happened, and said:
"I thought you were going to keep yelling, so I didn't wait for you."
Xu Cuifen stood in the main room, sweating profusely from the heat, seething with anger but unable to say anything.
Upon entering the room and seeing Wen Jiaojiao fast asleep, she felt an inexplicable sense of unease. She tried to rouse her a few times but failed, then turned and said angrily:
"You must have knocked my daughter unconscious, right? I knew you weren't a good person..."
Before she could finish speaking, Wen Jiaojiao was woken up by her loud voice, and frowned, looking annoyed:
"I just had a dream and got woken up, and now you're disturbing me again. Can't you let me get some sleep?"
Seeing that she was alright, Xu Cuifen smiled and nodded, then turned and walked out, saying, "Daughter, go to sleep. Mom has to go now."
Wen Jiaojiao, her long eyelashes half-closed and her face languid, glanced at Wen Zhaoye and said in a drunken, naive voice:
"Brother, did I do anything to you just now?"
Wen Zhaoye's ears burned, he pursed his crimson lips, shook his head slightly, and said in an unnatural tone:
"No...no."
Wen Jiaojiao breathed a sigh of relief, closed her eyes sleepily again, and mumbled softly:
"I was so scared! I just had a dream that you kissed me. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to control my brain and would forcibly possess you again."
Wen Zhaoye, a cigarette dangling from his lips, chuckled slightly and murmured:
"You really want my body that badly? You're willing to use force."
Meanwhile, Xu Cuifen arrived at Aunt Pang's house and asked anxiously, "Aunt Pang, did you ask her for me what time it is tomorrow?"
Aunt Pang had just returned and heard everything that happened after Wen Jiaojiao got drunk. She looked troubled and said:
"Cuifen, your Jiaojiao got drunk and acted crazy today, embarrassing everyone in the neighboring villages."
When I went to find the man, he was no longer there. I wonder if he was scared away after hearing about it.
Xu Cuifen had finally found a satisfactory son-in-law, and upon hearing this, she immediately became anxious:
"Go and ask again. My Jiaojiao didn't do it on purpose. Who can control their brain when they're drunk?"
Aunt Pang had no desire to get involved in this mess any further and declined, saying:
"I think we should just give up. Your daughter is a bit difficult to handle."
"Please help me out, considering we've been neighbors for so many years."
Xu Cuifen pleaded several times in a gentle voice, but Aunt Pang kept making excuses. Finally, Xu Cuifen's expression changed, and she reminded her impatiently:
"Auntie Pang, my basket of eggs isn't free."
The plump aunt rolled her eyes and huffed as she conceded:
"Okay, I'll go ask for you right now."
