Chapter 85 Wen Zhaoye washes Jiao Jiao's clothes

Wen Zhaoye walked awkwardly into the hallway, noticing the strange looks from those around him. He glanced around and said in an unnatural voice:

"Didn't you say there were two boys wearing only... underwear and hugging each other? Why are they staring at us like that when they're so open about it?"

Wen Jiaojiao pointed towards the cashier and said in a serious tone, "Look at those two boys, aren't they just wearing their underwear and hugging each other?"

Wen Zhaoye looked up and saw a small drawing on the refrigerator: one wearing blue underwear and the other wearing yellow and white underwear, standing and hugging each other.

That is the symbol of the Hai'er brothers.

His face flushed red, the redness spreading to his neck. He hadn't felt anything unusual about being held earlier.

After all, there were even more open-minded people around, and now he felt like everyone's gaze was burning on him like fire.

"Let's go back to the hotel." Wen Zhaoye walked out the door in a huff.

Wen Jiaojiao followed behind, her heart still pounding from the shock: "..."

It looks like Wen Jiaojiao is not far from here. This is going to kill me.

As Wen Zhaoye stepped outside, he suddenly saw Li Cuihua's back. His pupils dilated slightly, and he called out:

"Hey, wait a minute."

As Wen Jiaojiao watched him prepare to chase after Li Cuihua, her hair nearly stood on end in fright. She then decisively lay down on the ground.

I'm dizzy!

Li Cuihua followed the woman she was with as they turned the corner, their figures disappearing completely into the background.

Wen Zhaoye was so anxious that his forehead was covered in sweat. Although he was eager to seize this opportunity to get to the bottom of things, he was also afraid that something irreversible might happen to Wen Jiaojiao's health.

He stopped without hesitation, and picked up Wen Jiaojiao with a worried expression:

"Jiaojiao, what's wrong? I'll take you to the hospital right away."

Wen Jiaojiao lay in his arms, slowly opened her eyes, rubbed her forehead, and pretended to be extremely weak as she said:

"Brother, I just feel a little dizzy all of a sudden. Can you take me back to the hotel so I can get some sleep?"

Wen Zhaoye glanced around anxiously, his gaze settling on the clinic not far away, and said:

"You need to go to the hospital. You've fainted; it looks pretty serious."

Wen Jiaojiao knew that if she persisted, it would inevitably arouse suspicion. With tears in her eyes, she nodded with suppressed emotion.

In a big city like this, the medical skills can't be so lacking.

Wen Zhaoye carried her and hurried to the clinic. He glanced down and saw tears in her eyes, and said in a slightly reproachful tone:

"It's just taking you to the hospital, and you're already moved? How can you be so naive?"

Wen Jiaojiao felt like crying but had no tears left: "..."

Which of your dog eyes saw that I was moved? Don't go too far, okay? If it weren't for your status, I could have slapped you twice.

Wen Zhaoye came to the consultation room, placed her on a stool, and stood beside her, saying, "Doctor, my sister just fainted. Could you please take a look at her?"

The doctor, wearing a white coat, glanced at her and said:

"Besides dizziness, is there anything else that's bothering you?"

"I am..." Wen Jiaojiao was only halfway through her sentence when Wen Zhaoye, remembering how she had run away at the train station, interrupted her with a worried expression:

"She's still a bit confused today, it feels like her thoughts are out of control."

Wen Jiaojiao: "..."

You son of a bitch! Are you insulting me?

The doctor diagnosed the symptoms directly and wrote out a prescription, saying:

"It's hot today, heatstroke is normal. Go get an IV drip."

Wen Jiaojiao's pupils trembled slightly; she couldn't believe he was being so casual. She was about to explain further...

But Wen Zhaoye took the order, picked her up and carried her towards the door, his tone full of worry:

"Don't worry, if you're not cured today, I'll bring you back for an IV drip tomorrow. We'll see when you're cured. If that doesn't work, I'll take you to a big hospital for surgery."

Wen Jiaojiao's face stiffened and she looked embarrassed. A faint thought of killing him and then running away crept into her mind: "..."

I'm so damn grateful for your help.

A short while later, the nurse came into the hall with the medicine.

Wen Jiaojiao sat in the chair with tears welling up in her eyes. In her heart, she cursed Wen Zhaoye's ancestors for eighteen generations, but she still felt unsatisfied. Just as she was about to find an excuse to leave,

As she tried to pull away, Wen Zhaoye forcefully grabbed her slender hand and presented it to the nurse, anxiously saying:

"Nurse, hurry! My sister is quite delicate, and she's started crying because of the headache."

"You..." Damn it. The curse was on the tip of Wen Jiaojiao's tongue, but she swallowed it back. She struggled subtly, and said in a gentle voice:

"Can I not hang myself? I feel so good. If you don't believe me, I'll punch you and see how strong I am."

Wen Zhaoye didn't think she would actually hit him for no reason; he just took it as a joke and advised her:

"The money has already been paid and can't be returned. Stop trying to save money all the time, or you'll ruin your health."

Wen Jiaojiao was so angry that she bared her teeth and her face was unrecognizable as she watched helplessly as the nurse inserted the needle into a vein on the back of her hand.

The slight pain, coupled with Wen Zhaoye's speculation, finally brought tears of sorrow to her eyes, and she sobbed softly:

"Actually, I was just pretending."

Before she could finish speaking, Wen Zhaoye looked at the tiny tears on her cheeks and felt a pang of unease. He spoke to the nurse in a cold, reproachful tone:

"Did you insert the syringe incorrectly? Look how much pain my sister is in. If your technique isn't good, don't go out and cause harm to others."

Wen Zhaoye's face was indifferent and aloof, and his silence gave people a sense of solemnity and inviolability. However, once he got angry, the pressure around him was as cold and deep as an ancient well.

The young nurse, who had only been working for a short time, was so frightened that she didn't know what to do and said apologetically:

"I'm sorry, I'll unplug it and plug it back in right away."
