Chapter 150 Rectifying Anjie

Soon, Qi Wei adjusted the teaching assignments of several teachers. The original Chinese language teachers reduced their Chinese language classes by half and switched to teaching other subjects. An Jie was assigned to teach Chinese language to two classes.

Furthermore, the original system of taking turns helping in the kitchen has been changed, and other teachers no longer need to go to the kitchen to help; instead, teachers Du Wenbing and Lin Ye are in charge.

After everyone caused such a scene at the school, Anjie was almost beaten up, but instead of being punished, she was given a teaching position for a core subject.

The teachers were naturally dissatisfied.

That day, Du Wenbing and Lin Ye were cooking in the kitchen when a Chinese language teacher walked in. While helping them, she complained:

"This Qi Wei is far worse than the old principal. I'm happy to have less of a main subject, but the children say that An Jie's teaching level is really bad. Take her blackboard writing for example, her chalk writing is really indescribable. Not only is the writing ugly, but the stroke order is also wrong. She's corrupting the children."

Du Wenbing, who was cooking, angrily threw down the spatula, no longer agreeing with his statement. "Our class's Chinese scores have dropped drastically. I'm even thinking of teaching them Chinese during math class."

Lin Ye was tending the fire when he heard their complaints and felt empathy for them, because Qi Wei had reached out to his physical education class.

Recently, on several occasions, during what should have been PE class time, Lin Ye waited on the playground for a long time but the children didn't come. It turned out that Qi Wei had taken over the classroom with An Jie.

The children were eager to attend physical education class with Lin Ye, but the principal warned them with a fierce look that anyone who dared to resist would have their parents called.

This principal is too fierce. If he calls the parents in, who knows what he'll say? They don't want to get beaten up, so they can only stay obediently in the classroom.

As the group was discussing what to do next, Anjie walked in and asked if the food was ready, as she wanted to deliver it to the principal.

No one paid any attention to her, so she took matters into her own hands and lifted the pot lid.

The rice needs to simmer a little longer to taste good. Just as Du Wenbing was about to stop her, the person lifted the lid of the pot, and a burst of scalding steam hit her face, making her shiver.

The other three were trying not to laugh; they deserved it.

Anjie rolled her eyes at them, then looked at the stir-fried vegetables in the pot and frowned, saying, "Why is it stewed cabbage again? There's not a trace of oil. Is this the kind of food you're letting the leaders eat?"

"What the children eat, the teachers eat—that's tradition," Du Wenbing said irritably.

Anjie put her hands behind her back and said in a serious tone, "Times have changed. You still think this is the time when the old man was around!"

After hearing this, Lin Ye couldn't help but throw a piece of wood at her. "What are you saying? Watch your mouth! You call yourself a teacher? You don't even have the basic respect for the old principal."

Anjie's arm was scratched by the wood and hurt a little, but facing Lin Ye's angry glare, she didn't dare to provoke him easily, so she had no choice but to endure it and continue to say to Du Wenbing, "Teacher Du, you should hurry up and cook another dish for Principal Qi separately!"

Du Wenbing laughed in exasperation, "Teacher An, if you want to curry favor with Principal Qi, then do it yourself. Don't stand here pointing fingers. Hurry up and get out of here; I need to get the children's meals."

Anjie was so angry that her stomach ached, so she had no choice but to take the lunchbox and serve Qi Wei the food herself.

Even though the pot of rice was half sweet potato and half regular rice, she insisted on picking out all the sweet potatoes and filling it entirely with white rice. She also filled a whole box with vegetables, regardless of whether Qi Wei could finish them.

As he left, he turned and snorted at Lin Ye, who was tending the fire.

In the afternoon, Du Wenbing's class had a Chinese language lesson.

Anjie strode into the classroom with an air of superiority, then opened her textbook and began teaching the children.

Anjie's teaching style is basically unstructured; she simply leads the children to read the text and then write down the new characters.

Today, she had just led the children in reading the text when Kunkun stood up and asked in an uncertain tone, "Teacher, should this word be pronounced like this?"

Anjie suppressed her temper and corrected herself, saying, "Luo Kunkun is good; he was able to hear the teacher's deliberate misreadings immediately."

Next, as if encouraged, the students immediately raised their hands whenever Anjie misread or wrote something wrong.

Anjie made far too many mistakes, and her class was interrupted more than ten times in one session. Finally, she snapped.

She stood on the podium, her face contorted with rage, spewing profanities that terrified the children.

The teacher was just praising Kunkun, so why is she cursing them now? Several timid girls, confused, even started to sob.

"What are you crying for! You little brat, how dare you be so insolent in my class. Your class is truly the worst I've ever taught. So what if I'm wrong? I'm the teacher. If I'm wrong, you just listen to me. But if anyone dares to raise their hand again, I'll smash your hands with a slap!"

At this moment, Du Wenbing rushed in like a savior, told An Jie to step down, and went up to comfort the child.

The children burst into laughter at Du Wenbing's humorous remarks.

An Jie glared at Du Wenbing, about to argue with him, but out of the corner of her eye she caught Qi Wei and a few country bumpkins standing outside the window, staring at her with dark faces.

Without a doubt, those few country bumpkins are the parents of the children here.

She felt like a volcano about to erupt, accumulating immense energy, but the situation was pressing, so she had no choice but to suppress her anger and leave the classroom, forcing a smile as she explained to Qi Wei and the parents.

What's there to explain? They all heard what I said to the kids.

Anjie was so engrossed in her rant that she didn't even notice several people standing outside the window.

When she first started swearing, Qi Wei was thinking about how to help her smooth things over. But later he actually said something like, "She's a teacher, so it's okay for a teacher to be wrong." He was really making the school lose face.

Qi Wei wanted to protect An Jie, but she was really disappointing. Her skills were too poor, and her character was even worse. She offended both teachers and parents, so he had no choice but to take back her right to teach the main subjects and let her go back to teaching the elective subjects.

Anjie was exposed for what she truly was; this time, she had offended all the teachers, and no one paid any attention to her anymore.

Unable to understand, she took her anger out on Du Wenbing.

Du Wenbing ignored her and warned her, "Anjie, I'm warning you, you'd better not touch any of the kids in our class, or I'll beat you up."

When school was over, Lin Ye waited for Kun Kun and gave him a thumbs up.

This idea came from Lin Ye on behalf of Du Wenbing. Pointing out An Jie's mistake for the first time was the hardest part, but luckily Kun Kun was bold and made a good start.

However, the root cause was Anjie's poor teaching ability and her volcanic outbursts of scolding the children, which led to her being dismissed as a Chinese teacher after only a few days.

Qi Wei not expelling her is already a great favor to her.

Qi Wei also sensed something was wrong, especially after he saw Luo Kunkun get on Lin Ye's bicycle, which made him even more certain that Lin Ye was up to something.
