Just as the three were talking, Lin Gou Dan, who hadn't gotten any food, started wailing with his empty bowl in hand, and took his anger out on Luo Chun Lei.
"You're so inhuman! Are you trying to starve me to death? And you're always hanging around my sister. Someone like you can forget about becoming my brother-in-law!"
Upon hearing this, Lin Xiaocui kicked him in the butt, "What nonsense are you spouting! If you're hungry, come begging at Wang Xu's house! Do you have no hands or feet? You're such a grown man, don't you know any shame? I'm too ashamed to even curse you!"

Seeing the unspoken understanding between Lin Xiaocui and Luo Chunlei, Wang Xu's face darkened, and he said irritably, "What do you want from me?"

While the group was playing around outside, the scene at Lin Ye's house was quite different.
After the meal, Lin Chunhua and Zhao Xiaolan were sent for a walk by Lin Ye, and Lin Ye began to clean up the dishes.
While he was washing the dishes, Lu Wanqing stayed close by his side.
Since the burn incident, the two seem to have gotten closer and more relaxed than before.
After washing the dishes, Lin Ye couldn't wait to close the door, pull Lu Wanqing into his arms, sit on a chair, and let her straddle him.

"Master, your mother is here," Snowball reported.
"Ugh~ Stop kissing me... Snowball's making noise..." Lu Wanqing received the message and managed to utter a few words with great difficulty.
Lin Ye's blood was boiling; he didn't care about the dog barking. "Never...mind it..."
Lu Wanqing had no choice but to push him away with her hand. After regaining her breathing, she said, "Snowball is barking so loudly, it's probably because my mom is here."
Lin Ye's face was already as red as an apple, and he deliberately said, "Why didn't you say so sooner!"
Lu Wanqing playfully punched his chest, "You're so annoying! When have you ever given me a chance?"

“This is my daughter’s home. You’re just a worthless woman who’s been thrown out and nobody wants. What right do you have to point fingers at me?” Zhang Guixiang said viciously, hands on her hips.
Lin Chunhua was furious when she heard this. Her good mood was ruined by Lu Wanqing's few words, but she could only swallow her bitterness because of Lu Wanqing's kindness.
She didn't want to put Lu Wanqing in a difficult position.
Seeing that Lin Chunhua was being wronged, Lu Wanqing quickly came out and said sternly to Zhang Guixiang, "Mom, how dare you talk to Sister Chunhua like that? Apologize to her right now!"
Zhang Guixiang scoffed, "Pah! You want me to apologize to her? You'd have to write my name backwards! Wanqing, I haven't eaten all day, hurry up and make me some food!"
Lin Ye followed behind Lu Wanqing, protecting her at all times. He also called Zhao Xiaolan and Lin Chunhua into the courtyard and had them stand behind him.
