Chapter 416 Even the question of where the child would go to school has been considered.

Han Tao arrived just in time, pushed the drunk man aside, and anxiously asked Chun Tao if she was alright.

Chun Tao rubbed her arm, which was a little sore from being pulled, and shook her head.

He didn't show much expression on his face, but he was secretly pleased.

It turns out he didn't break his promise, and he was even protecting me like this.

Upon learning that she was alright, Han Tao went to the drunk man, grabbed his arm, and dragged him outside.

"Brother Han, what are you doing?" Chun Tao asked anxiously as she followed after him, confused.

After all, she's a hotel guest. If she's kicked out like this, she'll likely get complaints again.

Han Tao continued what he was doing, only smiling at her:

"Don't worry, I heard him call you 'big sister' just now. If he wasn't drunk, he wouldn't be able to say such nonsense. Even if I threw him out now, he wouldn't remember anything the next day."

As they were talking, Han Tao had already dragged the man to the flowerbed by the roadside and taken off his clothes, leaving him only in his underwear.

Seeing that Chun Tao still had doubts, he simply took her arm and solemnly said:

"He treated you like that, and if I let him just lie there comfortably in the hotel, I'll feel really uncomfortable. Just pretend you've never seen him. If he remembers anything in the future, I'll take responsibility. If he has any problems, come at me!"

After he finished speaking, Chun Tao tacitly agreed to his approach.

To be honest, since becoming a hotel manager, she has encountered quite a few drunk people causing trouble. She really wanted to throw them onto the street, but given her position, she could only be angry but dare not do it.

Today, Han Tao helped her vent her anger.

"Come on, what are you waiting for? Show me around the hotel."

Han Tao saw that her little face was still filled with fear and urged her on.

Chun Tao snapped out of her daze, led him to the hotel lobby, and began to introduce the hotel to him.

Han Tao had also traveled abroad several times with the inspection team and stayed in many good hotels, but he never expected that the hotel built by Lu Wanqing would be so luxurious.

Such a large hotel must have high daily costs. If something were to happen and it had to close down, the losses would indeed be enormous.

He thought that the management of surveillance in China was not in place and there were no relevant regulations in various laws, so he only suggested that Chun Tao install cameras in the lobby facing the door and in the elevator.

As for other places, if they encounter serious guests, especially foreign guests, they may feel that the cameras are invading their privacy.

"Do foreigners really care about privacy that much?" Chun Tao was puzzled. She had seen two foreigners hugging and kissing in public.

Han Tao smiled:

"They're just making trouble. They see any infringement on their interests as an invasion of privacy, using that as an excuse. We don't need to cause trouble; we just need to make sure that import and export are covered."

Everyone knows those people in the US. If someone harasses you just to express goodwill, but you cross their boundaries, it's considered an invasion of privacy. They're just hypocrites!

Chun Tao was surprised to see him speaking so earnestly, and even more surprised that a man over forty years old could be so cynical and absolutely not a Westernizer.

Just as the two finished surveying the hotel and finalizing the installation plan, Han Tao's stomach suddenly growled.

"You haven't finished eating yet, have you?" Chun Tao asked, blinking her almond-shaped eyes.

Han Tao nodded innocently: "How about it, come with me for some late-night snacks? There are still a few details we need to finalize."

He could delegate such a small matter to someone else; there was absolutely no need for him to do it himself.

But after only meeting twice, he was afraid that if his intentions were too obvious, he would scare the girl away.

Chuntao puffed out her pink cheeks and suggested:

"It's so late, we'll have to find somewhere to eat outside. If you don't mind, I'll make you some noodles."

Han Tao had a big question mark above his head.

Chun Tao then explained that the hotel has a restaurant, so naturally it has a kitchen, and although she had already finished get off work, she had the right to use it.

"That would be exactly what I wanted."

Han Tao followed her into the kitchen and was asked to sit on a small swivel chair and wait.

The next second, he saw Chun Tao put on her scarf and start looking for noodles.

The kitchens of five-star hotels are truly different; they have stainless steel countertops throughout, making them look clean and hygienic.

She took out noodles, eggs, and cucumbers from the cupboard and then began to cook them methodically.

Her movements were skillful, with no step being superfluous; it was clear she cooked often.

Han Tao looked at her virtuous figure from behind and couldn't help but feel a little hopeful. If she could be his wife, wouldn't he be able to eat her cooking every day?

No, if she really becomes my wife, I'll have her teach me how to cook, and we'll cook together.

Thinking about cooking, he thought about the apartment he was currently living in, which was just a single dormitory provided by his work unit. It was less than 30 square meters in total. He rarely went into the kitchen, and even when he did, there was not enough room for one person to turn around. How could two people fit in there?

It seems we need to move to a bigger house, especially the kitchen, which needs to be big enough for at least two people to cook together.

The dining room also needs to be larger, otherwise it won't be spacious enough to move around once there are children.

Speaking of children, then the house needs to be bigger. Like Lu Wanqing, who gave birth to triplets, there aren't enough rooms to live in, so a villa has become a necessity.

It seems that if you want to achieve your goals in one go, you still have to buy a villa.

As for which location to buy, it depends on which school is good now. I've heard there are a few good schools where only the top students get in, so their kids are bound to be smart. I'd buy a house near those schools...

"The noodles are ready!"

Chuntao's words finally pulled him out of his fantasy.

Unexpectedly, in just a short while, he had already decided on the school for his child.

He smiled shyly, picked up the chopsticks that were already on the table in front of him, and began to eat his noodles in large mouthfuls.

It smells so good.

The noodles were topped with a sauce made from scrambled eggs, crisp cucumber strips, and a couple of drops of his favorite sesame oil. It was much tastier than what he usually ate in the cafeteria.

He finished the bowl in just a few minutes.

Seeing that he still wanted more, Chun Tao reached for the bowl to serve him another bowl, but her hand accidentally touched his. She felt burned and quickly pulled away.

Han Tao felt a shiver run through his body, as if he had been electrocuted, and his breathing became rapid.

His body, which had been dormant for over forty years, was instantly awakened by a gentle touch from a young woman in her twenties, as if a sleeping dragon had been summoned.

He stared intently at Chun Tao, his gaze so deep it seemed to draw her in, making Chun Tao blush.

"I just wanted to get you another bowl of noodles."

Chun Tao wasn't oblivious; she had indeed been burned for a split second.

"Mm." Han Tao nodded and pushed the bowl away.

The two stopped talking; one ate his noodles in silence, while the other stood aside playing with his hands.

But an ambiguous atmosphere flowed between the two...
