Lin Xiaocui cried herself to sleep on the bed. When she woke up, it was already dark and her family was asleep.
She went to the kitchen in the dark to look for food, but found nothing in the cupboard. Wang Xiuqin really hadn't left her any food, not even wild boar meat or vegetable pancakes.
Just when she was feeling disheartened, a soft little ball of fur rubbed against her trouser leg.
"Little sister, come with me!" Snowball whined, extending an invitation.
Lin Xiaocui smiled, picked up the snowball, and walked towards the west room.
Zhao Xiaolan was already asleep, Lin Ye had gone to bathe in the river, and Lu Wanqing was drawing design drafts under the kerosene lamp.
"Sister-in-law, you wanted to see me?" she said in a low voice.
Lu Wanqing pressed her down into a chair, in front of her was a bowl full of white rice topped with wild boar meat.
"Eat your food first."
Lin Xiaocui was a little hesitant, wondering if this was inappropriate, but her stomach made an inopportune "gurgling" sound.
"Eat quickly, I have something to ask you after I finish eating!" Lu Wanqing had no choice but to say.
Knowing that she wasn't just eating for free, Lin Xiaocui picked up her bowl and began to eat happily.
However, as she ate, her eyes started to sting.
After she finished eating, Lin Ye also returned after taking a shower and told Xiao Cui about the favor he wanted to ask her.
"That's easy. I know the Wang family brigade inside and out. I'll go and inquire for you tomorrow," Lin Xiaocui said, patting her chest.
"You can go to Sister Chunhua first and ask her to help you find out," Lin Ye added.
Lin Xiaocui readily accepted the order and took several pieces of clothing that had already been made, which were to be delivered to several nearby brigades. She ran off with them.
Although running errands is tiring, she feels happy just thinking about the twenty-odd yuan in her pocket.
She kept the money hidden in her pocket, afraid that Wang Xiuqin would find out. School was about to start, and she still needed to pay her tuition!
After Lin Xiaocui left, Lu Wanqing was held in Lin Ye's arms from behind, feeling a little down.

Lu Wanqing smiled awkwardly, wondering if her mother-in-law slept soundly last night, as she seemed to have lost control of her volume.
It's all Lin Ye's fault. He was insatiable all night. We agreed it would only be once, but he seemed tireless, and I almost broke apart.
After getting up, Lu Wanqing first drank a bowl of spiritual spring water to help her recover her strength.
For breakfast, she had vegetable and lean meat porridge, soft pancakes, and a scrambled egg. She only drank half a bowl of porridge and ate a pancake, and that was enough to fill her up.
After she finished washing the dishes, she told Zhao Xiaolan that she could start making clothes.
Elaine Chao dropped the snowball and happily sat down next to the sewing machine. Suddenly, her expression became solemn and composed, like a dancer who had taken her first stance and was about to begin her performance.
Lu Wanqing sorted the orders, stipulating that Zhao Xiaolan could only make four items a day, and the order number had already reached more than 20.
After her reputation spread, the number of orders increased exponentially.
It took a month to go from the first order to the hundredth, but only twenty days to go from the two hundredth.
She has the design skills, but she really doesn't want Elaine Chao to be too tired.

Just then, Lin Xiaocui returned from outside, carrying a crossbody bag.
She didn't go to work early in the morning, but went to Wangjia Brigade instead.

Lin Xiaocui was so happy she almost jumped for joy. The clothes were even better than the ones her classmate bought at the provincial capital's shopping mall. There was only one pair of pants, but two tops: a cotton tracksuit, a short-sleeved summer outfit, and a jacket.
She hurriedly put on her coat, and it fit perfectly. She smiled so much that her braids almost stood up.
When school starts in a few days, she'll wear her sportswear, and who knows how many classmates will envy her.
