No one usually goes into the bamboo grove behind the house. The rotten bamboo leaves that have accumulated on the ground are rotten and smelly, and they are black and sticky to your feet.
Lin Gou Dan didn't care about any of that. He stumbled into the bamboo forest, his arms around Zhou Ling so tight they were practically flying.
"My darling, I've missed you so much! I thought you were ignoring me." Lin Gou Dan grinned lewdly.
Zhou Ling suppressed her nausea, cleverly turned Gou Dan's mouth away, and pinched his arm: "You rascal, what's the rush? Don't you know that your family's ancestral home is about to be occupied by Lin Ye?"
Hearing her instigation, Lin Gou Dan almost jumped up and cursed, but Zhou Ling quickly covered his mouth, saying, "Don't shout like that, or someone will find out. I'm just here to tell you not to let your family act like idiots."
"Damn it, I'll make sure that good grandson Lin Ye gives me half of the house," Lin Gou Dan said through gritted teeth.
Zhou Ling thought to herself with contempt, "If he had that kind of brain, would he just stay at home all day doing nothing and waiting to die?"

In the west room, Lu Wanqing and Lin Ye were cooking together. The two were completely unaffected by the fact that the house was not coming back immediately. One of them was tending the fire, and the other was cooking. They were chatting and laughing.
Elaine Chao was still playing with Snowball in the yard, just like every other evening before.

Lin Ye was still wearing a short-sleeved shirt, while Lu Wanqing and Zhao Xiaolan had stopped wearing skirts and switched to pants, with blazer-like jackets on their tops, making them look stylish and attractive.
Suddenly, a series of loud noises came from the east room. With a sharp scream, Wang Xiuqin burst out of the room and charged straight at Lin Ye.
"Lin Ye, let me tell you, the ancestral home belongs to the Lin family, and it can't fall into your hands alone."
Lin Gou Dan covered his face behind his mother's back, regretting that he shouldn't have told her; she couldn't keep anything a secret.
Since he had already spoken out, he had no choice but to bite the bullet and come out to support his mother.
"Brother Ye, you must give me a room in the brigade headquarters, otherwise I won't let you have your way."
Lu Wanqing slightly raised her eyelids, completely disregarding them.

Over the next few days, Lin Ye borrowed a tractor from the team and brought in 5,000 hairy crab seedlings from the farm.
These crabs had grown to about two ounces each, so Lu Wanqing simply took a few home and steamed them to try them out.
The crab seedlings were released into the paddy field and quickly began to happily crawl around.
The news quickly spread throughout the team.
"Lin Ye heard from the urban educated youth in his bedside that he had gotten a batch of hairy crabs. Whether they can survive or not is another matter, but even if they are fattened up, where will he sell them!"
"I heard that Lin Ye met a capable person outside. Maybe that person has a market!"

The crowd buzzed with discussion, all waiting to see Lin Ye make a fool of himself.
When the team heard that he was raising hairy crabs, Zhou Changsheng even brought his accountant to his door to warn him.
"Captain Zhou, we raise hairy crabs for our own consumption, can't we?" Lu Wanqing leaned against the door with a half-smile. "You'd better hurry up and vacate the brigade headquarters building!"
"What's the rush? Secretary Yu isn't back yet! The house is full of his things, I dare not touch them." Zhou Changsheng slunk away.
At this moment, Lin Ye was modifying the fishing nets, not even lifting his eyelids.
The modified fishing nets are used to enclose rice paddies to prevent crabs from escaping and crawling into other people's fields.
Lu Wanqing had already thought of this and had Xueqiu pee around the crab. With Xueqiu guarding it, not a single crab could escape.
Zhao Xiaolan was delighted with the little creatures in the field. Whenever she had free time, she would come over to tease and play with the crabs, which also attracted many children.
