"Wow! Luo Luo, this is the underground city! It's so magnificent!" Wen Jing couldn't believe it.
This place is full of bizarre buildings, with giant smiling faces painted on the walls, their eyes even moving. Huge robotic arms extend from the exterior walls of the buildings, waving in mid-air, creating a very high-tech feel.
At the heart of the area where they stood, a massive mission notification tower stood, its holographic projections flashing and jumping in the air. People gathered beneath the tower, craning their necks to select missions, their voices rising and falling in a cacophony of discussion and debate.
Wenjing circled around for a moment, then excitedly put her arm around Qin Zhiluo's shoulder, "You're the boss of the underground city, Master Luo!"
Qin Zhiluo nodded, "It's been several years since I've been back!"
Wenjing scrutinized her very carefully. "Luoluo, how did you grow your brain? Can you share some with me?"
Qin Zhilu smiled and said, "I'll take you to headquarters."
Wenjing followed behind her excitedly, "It's such a loss that they didn't come with us! Negotiating contracts is nowhere near as exciting as this!"
Qin Zhilu's lips curled up slightly. "We've arrived."
Qin Zhiluo stood in front of the door and put her finger into the card slot.
"Recognition successful, welcome, sir."
The people on the street fell silent for a moment upon hearing this, then immediately gathered around to take a look. "Holy crap! It really is Master Luo!"
"Master Luo, you're finally back!"
"I'm so excited!"
Qin Zhilu smiled, greeted them, and went inside.
Upon receiving the message from the gate, Lin Qing rushed over immediately, "Master Luo!"
Lin Qing rushed over and hugged Qin Zhiluo, his usually serious face suddenly turning into a tearful mess.
Qin Zhilu patted his shoulder and smiled, "Why are you still so prone to crying!"
Lin Qing wiped away her tears and stubbornly said, "No, I haven't cried for years!"
A casual smile appeared on Qin Zhiluo's face. "Let me introduce you, this is Lin Qing."
Wenjing said very enthusiastically, "I am Wenjing."
Qin Zhiluo nodded. "She is also Haiyan from the hacker organization."
Lin Qing smiled familiarly, "So you're from the same organization as the boss, hello!"
The officials in charge of the underground city came out one after another, clamoring to see Master Luo.
Qin Zhiluo looked at them, a slight smile playing on her lips, her eyes filled with amusement. "Oh, long time no see!"
These officials were all people she had promoted.
"Master Luo, I thought you didn't want us anymore!"
"Master Luo, where have you been these past few years?"
"Master Luo, I've saved up a lot of wine for you!"
Wenjing's eyes lit up at the mention of alcohol, and she winked at Qin Zhiluo.
Qin Zhiluo immediately understood, "Alright, let's have a good drink today! Bring on the wine!"
A group of people sat around a table, drinking in wooden bowls, thoroughly enjoying themselves.
Wenjing really let loose and had a blast!
"You two are good buddies!"
"666!"
"With utmost respect..."
Wenjing, holding the bowl, laughed heartily, "You lost, drink!"
Lin Qing gulped down a bowl of wine and said cheerfully, "Again!"
Qin Zhilu smiled, got up and went to the window, looking at the underground city she was running.
"Master Luo," Mingyue said with a smile as she walked over carrying a bowl of hangover soup.
Qin Zhiluo took it and gulped it down in one go, "It's still as awful as ever."
Mingyue's eyes welled up with tears. "You have no idea how terrified we were when we received that email from you!"
Qin Zhiluo gently patted the little girl's head. She had prepared herself not to return, which was why she had entrusted all her businesses to others. "But you're back!"
