Chapter 24 Confession

"Master, Miss has sent someone to pick us up." Long Yi looked at the eight black Rolls-Royces in front of him with some shock. They were modified cars, how low-key!

"Hahaha, is this a grand wedding procession to bring you home?" Junlin laughed from ear to ear, giving Luo Luo a thumbs up in his heart.

Long Yanli looked at everything in front of him with amusement; the little girl was getting a little cheeky.

Guan Du got out of the carriage and jokingly replied to Jun Lin's words, "That's exactly what I was thinking."

Junlin was taken aback when he saw him come to pick them up. He froze for a moment and gave an awkward smile.

"Get on the bus, everyone."

Junlin sat in the passenger seat, and Guandu glanced at him curiously.

"If you get tired of driving, I'll take over," Junlin said, feeling sorry for him and wanting to get closer to him.

Guan Du tilted his head, a slanted smile playing on his lips, his eyes unrestrained yet somewhat nonchalant, and winked at him, looking every bit like a free-spirited young man.

Junlin blushed slightly and turned his head away, feeling that Guandu was even more thuggish on his own turf.

They couldn't remember the route after they got on the bus.

At first, the car entered a dense, impenetrable forest, its branches and leaves obscuring their view as they drove through the suffocating woods. Then, an endless desert stretched out before them, the sun blazing high, the sand scorching hot. As the car emerged from the desert, it came to the banks of a wide, rushing river. Driving along the riverbank, they circled the jagged, rocky riverbed. Finally, they arrived at a small town shrouded in mist. Just as they were beginning to believe this was Cloud City, they suddenly felt a little dizzy.

"I'm sorry, the fog in this town has been laced with a special potion. Everyone except the people of Yundu will fall asleep." Guandu glanced at Long Yanli and saw that he wasn't angry and accepted it calmly.

When they woke up, the car had already entered Yundu. They rolled down the car window and looked at the technological city outside in shock. "Holy crap, have we traveled through time?"

Long Yanli opened his eyes, a hint of interest flashing in his cold gaze. The baby was doing quite well.

Junlin was shocked by the scene before him and turned to look at Guandu in the driver's seat. "Is this... a dream?"

Guandu looked at him with amusement, then tapped his head lightly. "Does it hurt?"

Junlin then realized what was happening and looked outside with some curiosity to see where he lived.

The car was still moving, and it had reached the edge of the city.

There stands a mysterious rose villa. Hidden among lush greenery and surrounded by layers of roses, it appears from afar as a dreamlike manor enveloped in waves of blossoms.

"My God, this is so beautiful!" Long Yi couldn't help but exclaim.

The villa's gate was understated yet exuded an air of grandeur. Guan Du stepped forward, and a subtle blue light quickly scanned his pupils for identification.

"Welcome home, Chief A," an electronic voice announced, and the doors slowly slid open to the sides.

Stepping inside, you are instantly enveloped by the overwhelming fragrance of roses. As far as the eye can see, there is an endless sea of red roses.

Continuing along the road, a magnificent villa comes into view. The villa's exterior walls are entirely made of red roses, with thick rose branches intertwining and climbing to form artistic "flower walls."

"So beautiful," Junlin exclaimed sincerely.

Long Yanli immediately spotted the little girl standing in front of the villa, holding a bunch of red roses in her hand.

He froze for a moment, his mind going blank. He came to his senses, his eyes filled with emotion, and a smile involuntarily crept onto his lips. A warmth returned to his deep eyes.

He strode towards her, pulled her into his arms, and his eyes were slightly red.

"Brother, although we're together, I haven't officially told you how I feel about you yet."

Lin Yiluo's cheeks were flushed, even the tips of her ears were tinged with pink. Her eyes were bright and sparkling, like stars twinkling in the night sky.

"Brother, thank you for finding me and taking care of me when I was mentally challenged."

"I've thought about dying many times, and I've struggled many times."

"I want to live a good life, but I can't let go of my sister's death. It's like being trapped in a nightmare, and I can't break free."

"I know that these past two years by your side, I've had uncontrollable suicidal thoughts, but you've always pulled me back."

"Now that I'm fully recovered, I don't want to die anymore. I want to travel with you across the vast land and let every landscape witness our burning love."

Her eyes were wide open, her eyelashes trembling slightly, her gaze filled with trepidation and anticipation. "Brother, what's your answer?"

He kept his eyes fixed on her, taking a deep breath to try and calm his racing heart, but his slightly trembling shoulders betrayed the turmoil within him. "My girl, I love you. I will never let you leave me for the rest of my life."

A radiant smile instantly bloomed on her face, a smile like the dawn's first rays of sunlight, illuminating the entire world.
