Chapter 27 Fever

Junlin looked up at him somewhat awkwardly, wondering if he would find him repulsive.

Did you hear what I said?

Guandu tapped his forehead, and seeing his listless appearance, decided to let it go.

"The temperature here is low, so it's not suitable for taking cold showers."

After saying that, Guandu left. The child must have found him annoying.

Junlin looked up and watched him walk away, his eyes slowly reddening. He felt rejected.

Lin Yiluo slowly woke up, only to find herself tightly embraced by a warm and strong hug.

She subconsciously shifted her body, gently nuzzling her head against the man's firm chest, the familiar yet uniquely cold scent instantly filling her nostrils.

"Baby's awake," Long Yanli said gently, looking at the person in his arms.

"Hmm, what time is it?" Lin Yi snuggled into his arms.

"It's five o'clock, are you hungry?" Long Yanli's deep eyes held a restrained urge to ignite his desire for her.

"Oh, you guys finally came down, it's already late," Wenzhou said, looking at them with a mocking expression.

Lin Yilu ignored Wenzhou and stared straight at the sumptuous dishes on the table. Steamed sea bass, sweet and sour pork ribs, and Kung Pao chicken were all her favorites.

"Brother, come quickly! Su Su's cooking is absolutely amazing!" Lin Yiluo couldn't wait to pull Long Yanli to sit down.

Chief Food Fairy Mu Su H

Lin Yiluo glanced around, "Where's Fourth Brother?"

"I have a fever and no appetite," Long Yi described his condition at noon.

"I made him winter melon and dried shrimp porridge," Mu Su said to Long Yi. "I can serve it to him later."

"Our Su Su is so thoughtful," Lin Yiluo patted her head. This girl was the same age as her, only three months older.

Su Su smiled at her, "But this porridge was made by Brother Du."

All eyes turned to him; they all knew he wasn't the type to meddle in other people's business.

"I drank with him last night, so I bear some responsibility," Guandu explained, seeing the curious looks on everyone's faces.

After the meal, Long Yanli decided to show his brotherly affection by bringing him the porridge that Mu Su had prepared.

Seeing him lying on the bed with empty eyes, it wasn't just a fever; it was as if someone had stolen his soul.

"Let's eat," Long Yanli said in a cold tone.

Jun Lin lay on the bed, utterly dejected, saying, "I won't eat."

Heartbroken?

Junlin looked at him in surprise. How did he know?

Long Yanli was just joking, but seeing his expression, he realized he had stumbled upon some juicy gossip and really wanted to call the girl in.

"Who?" Long Yanli looked at him with amusement. He must be someone from here.

Junlin remained silent.

"Eat your food first, he won't care if you starve to death," Long Yanli said before leaving.

How could he possibly feel sorry for me? Junlin ate the food while feeling sad.

“Brother, let me take you to the city tomorrow,” Lin Yi said, sitting on his lap and playing with his fingers.

Long Yanli was having a hard time holding back; she had no idea how seductive she was to him.

He turned her to face him, his movements gentle yet undeniably powerful. He lowered his head slightly, his nose lightly touching her hair.

Lin Yiluo realized something was wrong and tried to get up, but it was too late.

She tilted her head slightly, meeting his deep, burning eyes. The affection and possessiveness hidden in his gaze seemed to want to drown her.

Long Yanli's thin lips slowly approached, his breath brushing against hers, causing a slight tickle. Her eyelashes trembled slightly, she closed her eyes, and leaned in to meet his.

Long Yanli was somewhat surprised by her initiative. He kissed her, a kiss that was both gentle and passionate. His tongue gently pried open her teeth and intertwined with hers.

Long Yanli placed her on the bed, gently yet domineeringly holding her in his arms.

He lowered his head slightly, his lips slowly sliding down her earlobe, his hot breath spraying onto her neck, causing her to tremble and her delicate body to involuntarily twist slightly.

His hands roamed restlessly around Lin Yiluo's waist, applying slight pressure to press her soft body tightly against his, leaving no gap between them.

Her hands unconsciously climbed up Long Yanli's neck, her slender fingers running through his hair in response to his passion.
