Chapter 519: Secret Talk at the Central Government Building

Chapter 519: Secret Talk at the Central Government Building

519

Tang Yue descended like a ghost into the shadows of the Beidaohai military base, the moonlight casting a silver edge on her, yet it did not raise any alarm. The base was brightly lit, the beams of searchlights crisscrossing like a vast web of light, yet her nimble figure remained invisible.

She first arrived at the armory, where the heavy alloy door seemed to vanish into thin air. Tang Yue simply raised her hand, and the neatly arranged array of advanced weapons, Han He's guns, ammunition, and missile launchers vanished from the scene, as if being pulled by an invisible hand.

Next, she arrived at the massive hangar housing planes, tanks, and various other vehicles. Dozens of fighter jets stood proudly, awe-inspiring; tanks lined up in neat rows, emitting a cold metallic aura; and countless military vehicles.

Tang Yue's lips curled up into a faint smile, and with a wave of her small hand, planes, tanks, and vehicles disappeared one after another, leaving only an empty hangar with faint traces of tire tracks on the ground.

Tang Yue felt that collecting all these was not enough, so she sneaked into the military information room.

The security of the data room is extremely tight. Two armed soldiers are guarding the door, and there are infrared alarm devices all around.

Tang Yue did not enter the data room, and the piles of documents in the data room disappeared out of thin air.

Tang Yue stood high above the base, looking down at the quiet base below, a mocking smile on her lips. It seemed that the lesson she had learned last time wasn't enough; Japan had sprung up again in such a short time.

If it wasn't inflicted with a sharp pain, it wouldn't know what restraint was. Tang Yue had originally wanted to stand still in the sky and empty the entire North Sea into a deserted city, save for the people. However, this would have consumed too much spiritual energy.

It's said that Japan is a country not blessed by the heavens. Like Bianyue, it has no spiritual energy at all. Tang Yue could only shuttle through the streets of Beidaohai. As she walked, the buildings on both sides of the street were instantly emptied.

Tang Yue focused on patronizing the Hatoyama family's businesses, leaving them with nothing. Especially the banks throughout the North Coast, where foreign exchange was so hard to earn, it would be best to bring more back from Japan.

In one night, the entire North Sea was empty. Tang Yue did not stop and went straight to Xijing.

It was already past 9 in the morning when they arrived in Xijing. Tang Yue thought that not all the members of the Hatoyama family would be there during the day, so she went straight to a hotel for breakfast.

Tang Yue casually stirred the coffee in her cup, the silver spoon making a crisp sound as it clattered against the porcelain cup. She seemed to be leisurely savoring her breakfast, but in reality, her consciousness was spreading outward like a spider web.

The hotel was only a few hundred meters away from the central government agencies in Xijing. At this moment, the conversations in several conference rooms were constantly coming into her ears.

"The situation on Hill No. 13 in Bianyue Country is precarious!" A voice with a thick American-Japanese dialect sounded. Tang Yue frowned slightly and put down the coffee cup in his hand.

"The Chinese army is advancing unstoppably, and the US military has retreated to the edge of the defense line. The US military now requests support from Russia and my country as soon as possible!"

One of the pot-bellied men frowned. "I heard that all the supplies in the United States suddenly disappeared out of thin air, and the follow-up supplies from the US military haven't been delivered yet?"

The man who had just reported nodded. "Indeed. I heard that several political parties in the United States are arguing fiercely right now. The people are also protesting, protesting the US government's continued provision of large amounts of weapons and supplies to the border and Vietnamese battlefields. They're demanding an end to this war."

The pot-bellied man fell into deep thought. What should they do now? If they didn't continue to support the United States, the consequences were obvious. However, now that the American people themselves didn't support them, relying solely on them to provide the entire battlefield's war preparedness resources was obviously unrealistic.

"Prime Minister, what do you think? What should we do now?"

In another conference room, discussions were swirling. "China's newly developed 'Kemi' destroyer and supercomputer are a massive threat!"

A Japanese official's voice was loud. Tang Yue looked over and saw a man wearing gold-rimmed glasses with a sinister look in his eyes.

"Is there still no news coming back from China?" Kenji Sato looked around the office and asked a soul-searching question.

The others all lowered their heads silently. They had indeed not received any news so far. Logically, the Chinese 'Kemi' should have completed its sea trials by now, and there should be news on what was going on there.

But so far, no news has been delivered.

Seeing that no one spoke, Sato Kenji continued, "We must find a way to steal their technology. At the same time, we must know the raw materials they need. We must block their supply of raw materials and absolutely not allow China to have any chance of development!"

"Everyone, I received shocking news this morning!" In the third conference room, a Japanese officer named Yamamoto Yuta said in a low voice. His face was full of flesh and his eyes were filled with greed and ruthlessness.

"China is actually going to launch a satellite!"

"What? No! How is this possible? China doesn't have such technology at all!"

"Yes, how could China possibly launch a satellite on its own? This news must not be true."

"Is there a specific time and place? This news came too suddenly, and we had no preparation at all."

Everyone started talking, obviously this news was beyond their expectations. There had been so many things going on in China lately. And every one of them was a major event. They were all very busy and flustered. Why had China risen so quickly?

Yamamoto Yuta nodded affirmatively. "I've confirmed it, the news is true, absolutely correct. However, the exact time and location are still unknown. China is keeping this information very secret, and we've lost quite a few people to even get this little information."

"This? We absolutely cannot let them succeed! Once the satellite is launched, we have no idea what impact it will have on us. So, does anyone have any solutions?"

Tang Yue clenched her fists. The schemes of these shameless people made her furious. "Want to stop China's development? Want to stop the satellite launch? That's simply wishful thinking!"

However, the infiltration of Japanese spies into China was truly terrifying. Every step of China's progress was observed by them. This was only what Tang Yue had heard. In places that Tang Yue did not know, there was no telling how much more Japan had done to China.

Tang Yue continued to listen calmly, taking in each piece of important information. This information was crucial to China, and it had to be relayed back as quickly as possible so the country could prepare.

These are major events in China, and it's really disgusting to have these villains causing trouble.

Tang Yue felt that Japan was really too idle. Otherwise, how could they have the time to stare at others every day? Wouldn't it be better to develop themselves first? Otherwise, Japan wouldn't have to rely on the United States every day to survive.

As she was thinking, Tang Yue could already hear the sound of hurried footsteps. Then, alarms were sounded throughout the Japanese government building. Tang Yue frowned. What was going on?

Tang Yue was stunned. It turned out that the North Sea incident had broken out. The entire Japanese nation immediately entered a state of extreme war readiness.

They still remembered vividly what happened two years ago, and had thought that such a thing would never happen again in Japan. However, the entire North Sea became a deserted city with nothing in it overnight, which instantly caused panic throughout Japan.

Tang Yue stood upstairs in the hotel, watching the terrified people. Perhaps due to excessive tension, the usually well-dressed dignitaries in the government building were constantly misbehaving and causing trouble.

At the same time, they were no longer in the mood to work, and were racking their brains for how to protect their private property. Tang Yue saw that Sato Kenji had just returned to his office and immediately called his wife.

She was told to lock all the valuables in the house in a safe, and then put the safe on the bed. She was not allowed to leave the safe at any time.

This kind of thing happened to almost everyone. It was just that their methods of hiding things were so varied that Tang Yue was amazed. She thought to herself that they were all talented.

But, can it be preserved like this?
