Chapter 8
Wei Zhan picked up his backpack from the table and started walking towards the school.
Wei Zhan took bus number 105 directly to the bus stop at the entrance of Z University, and then went to the reporting office to report.
After signing the papers, Wei Zhan strolled leisurely along the path in the school, which was lined with wisteria trees. Since it was summer, the wisteria trees were not in bloom.
While thinking about his dream from last night, Wei Zhan bumped into something as he walked, unconsciously taking a step back. Completely bewildered, Wei Zhan touched his forehead and looked ahead, but there was nothing there!
So I saw a ghost? No, that doesn't make sense. How could there be a ghost? Besides, it's broad daylight. Even if a ghost came out, it would have disappeared by now!
He was truly a chosen one, but because he suddenly took a step back, some fellow Z University students looked at him with eyes that seemed to regard him as an idiot. So, with a slightly flushed face, Wei Zhan quickly went to his classroom.
On his way, Wei Zhan was bumped into by this transparent thing that was blocking his way again.
So many people looked at Wei Zhan with confusion, while they themselves were groping for the invisible door in front of them, as if to verify whether Wei Zhan was acting.
Of course, Wei Zhan wasn't acting; he really was blocked by something, but he had no idea what it was.
Wei Zhan, who is naturally shy, secretly glanced at the people around him, his face slightly flushed, because they probably thought he was performing some kind of show!
But how can he say that it's because of this invisible door that's blocking his way and preventing him from leaving?
No, of course not. He'll wait a while. He refuses to believe he can't leave. No, he can go somewhere else. What a fool he is.
