Chapter 87 Obsessive Love: Are You Going to Eat Me Up?

Chapter 87 Obsessive Love: Are You Going to Eat Me Up?

Guan Ye didn't know what he was laughing at, so she simply ignored him and walked straight to the old tree in the courtyard that had been cut down in half. She rolled up her sleeves and was about to draw her sword.

Ajiu leaped nimbly and was behind Guan Ye in a few steps. Guan Ye secretly gathered her energy, steadied her lower body, gripped the sword hilt with both hands, and let out a low shout, using all her strength. However, the sword hilt did not move an inch, and not even a few leaves fell.

"Let's try again." Ajiu encouraged her with great interest, "Master Guan, who can carry a fifty-pound bag, can definitely pull it out."

Guan Ye was just about to get lucky when she suddenly realized what was going on. She tilted her head and glanced at A Jiu, who was watching the drama unfold, and snorted as she let go of him. "Come on then."

Ah Jiu darted to the tree, leaned against the trunk, and covered her lips with the back of her hand to suppress a laugh. "It's not entirely out of the question to try it while I'm drunk. But why should I help Ji Fang? What good would it do me to beat Feng Shisan?"

Guan Ye's gaze settled on the slightly sly smile on his lips, then shifted slightly upwards to meet A Jiu's handsome features. "When Mu Chenbi and the others came to the neighborhood during the day, you already knew who he was..."

“He is Mu Chenbi, the one you told me about.” A-Jiu’s eyes flashed with a hint of meaning. “You said he looks a lot like me. The first time I saw him, I knew he was the Mu Chenbi you were talking about.”

“You knew he was the Crown Prince all along,” Guan Ye said with certainty.

Ah Jiu pursed her lips and remained silent, reaching out to touch Guan Ye's cheek. Guan Ye turned her face away, and Ah Jiu stopped, a slight smile playing on her lips.

Guan Ye continued, "You know he's the Crown Prince, that's why you didn't fight Luo Yichen. Aren't you afraid of... Lou Cangyu and the Thirteenth Young Master..."

“Ignorance is no excuse.” Ajiu’s dark eyes were like ink, thick and unfathomable, like an unfathomable abyss, enticing Guan Ye to fall into the depths. Guan Ye wanted to escape, but couldn’t. “A group of swordsmen living deep in the neighborhood, who would know who he is? Mu Chenbi couldn’t prove himself, so I said he intended to impersonate the Crown Prince and do something wicked…” Ajiu raised his chin as he spoke, his cold face revealing sharpness. His brows were indifferent, but when he looked at Guan Ye, they became hot again.

"Should we ask the brothel owner to punish them?" Guan Ye insisted. "Are we just going to stand by and watch our brothers stand under a crumbling wall?"

Ajiu stood up and approached Guan Ye. Her dark eyes were right in front of her. Guan Ye took a deep breath and smelled that familiar warm scent again, that magical feeling that made her feel weak all over. The surroundings fell silent instantly. There was no sound in her ears. No, Guan Ye held her breath. She seemed to hear a thumping sound. Guan Ye followed the sound and looked down. It was the sound coming from Ajiu's heart.

“The shop owner won’t punish them.” Ajiu narrowed his eyes. “His own swordsmen are no less skilled than the Crown Prince’s Eagle Guards. The shop owner is secretly delighted. He might even reward them. That’s why Cangyu changed his surname.”

Guan Ye didn't know why, even though she had made perfect sense, he had left her speechless. Just as she was about to think of something to retort, A Jiu let out a long sigh, looked at Guan Ye with a meaningful expression, and said, "Also, everyone outside says that Crown Prince Chen Bi is a gentleman. If he is a gentleman, he would never do such a despicable thing as settling scores later. Guan Ye, am I right?"

As Ajiu spoke, he chuckled softly, gazing at Guan Ye with a searching look in his eyes. Guan Ye's cheeks flushed, and she was about to turn her head away when Ajiu gently turned her face back to him. He stared at her silently for a long time, his dark eyes like the deep sea. Guan Ye only glanced at him, but it felt as if she was about to be swept into the dark currents.

“Prince Shen Bi is a gentleman, isn’t he?” Ajiu lowered her body, determined to get Guan Ye’s answer.

After waiting for a while without Guan Ye's reply, A Jiu stopped pressing and placed his warm palm on her smooth face. This time, Guan Ye did not dodge. "Mu Chenbi is a gentleman, but I am not."

The deep voice lingered in Guan Ye's ears. Guan Ye looked up and saw that A Jiu's left side was hidden in the darkness. The dim light in the courtyard highlighted half of A Jiu's face. His scarless right side was like Mu Chenbi. Just as Guan Ye wanted to see more clearly, A Jiu revealed his face. It was a breathtaking face, with a beast lurking in his eyes, waiting for the opportunity to burst out and stir up a storm.

Ajiu's gaze was fixed on Guan Ye's sincere face, as if trying to discern something from her expression. After an unknown amount of time, Ajiu seemed to have obtained the answer he sought. He lovingly stroked Guan Ye's cheek, again and again.

"I will not be a gentleman." Ajiu closed her eyes and took a deep breath, as if trying to suppress the raging fire within her. But she had drunk too much wine tonight, and a surge of heat was rising all over her body, spreading wildly. She could not suppress it no matter what she did. Ajiu suddenly opened her eyes, flames burning in them. Her breathing became more rapid, her face was as red as fire, and even her voice was a little hoarse. "Guan Ye, I will not be a gentleman."

The low, husky voice ignited a fire. Guan Ye met A Jiu's burning gaze and was suddenly moved. Just as she was about to say something, A Jiu leaned down and pressed his warm lips against her neck, gently sucking. The sudden tingling sensation made Guan Ye's shoulders tremble. A Jiu sensed the girl's nervousness, took her wrist and brought it close to his lips, lowering his head to suck on her limp fingertips.

"A-Jiu..." Guan Ye didn't know why she suddenly called out his name, like an incurable poison, devouring each other.

Ah Jiu responded with a muffled groan as his Adam's apple bobbed. Guan Ye's body was burning hot. Ah Jiu raised his head slightly, knowing that Guan Ye had also been drinking tonight. Her murmured cries were making him lose his mind. Ah Jiu disregarded everything and pulled Guan Ye into his arms, trying his best to suppress the emotions that were about to burst forth.

Ajiu's rapid heartbeat made Guan Ye's ears ring. Buried in his strong arms, Guan Ye was almost unable to breathe. Why was his body so hot? Being held tightly by him, her whole body felt like it was on fire.

Every time Guan Ye struggled, A Jiu would hold her tighter, as if afraid someone would take her away. Guan Ye wanted to break free, but she could only surrender.

"Ah Jiu," Guan Ye cried out with difficulty, "I'm going to die."

"Don't move!" A-Jiu commanded in a low voice, "Wait until I feel better..."

"A little better?" Guan Ye didn't understand. He was perfectly fine. The more she didn't understand, the more she wanted to understand. Guan Ye fumbled for his brocade robe, grabbed it, and tugged hard. Suddenly, she touched something and heard A Jiu growl, squeezing the girl in his arms even harder, "Don't move!"

"Ah Jiu," Guan Yezhen gasped for breath, "What is this?" Guan Yezhen tugged at it again.

"You want me to die?" Ajiu gasped, released her embrace, found Guan Ye's haphazardly tugging hand, and intertwined their fingers. Touching Ajiu's damp palm, Guan Ye realized that Ajiu seemed to have been caught in a downpour, her forehead covered with large beads of sweat, which hung wetly on her face.

"What's wrong?" Guan Ye squeezed out and picked up her sleeve to wipe his sweat. "A-Jiu?"

Ajiu, who had calmed down a bit, frowned, knowing that Guan Ye was also confused and at a loss. She leaned her head on Guan Ye's shoulder and whispered, "How are you going to make it up to me?"

Guan Ye blinked, not understanding his meaning. Seeing his slurred eyes and the strong smell of alcohol on his breath, she assumed he was drunk and talking nonsense. After thinking for a moment, she asked, "How do you want me to make it up to you?"

Ajiu smiled, her eyebrows curving upwards. "Guan Ye, you said it yourself." Ajiu placed one hand on her waist and the other on the back of her head. Her warm lips lingered near her ear, sliding down her jade-like cheek, her stubble-covered chin rubbing against her skin.

Guan Ye's mind went blank. Suddenly, she couldn't help but hug A Jiu. A Jiu seemed not to have expected her to do this. His strong body trembled and he couldn't help but hug Guan Ye even tighter.

Guan Ye mimicked his movements, her fingertips gently tracing his brow bone, like a spring breeze. Ajiu felt her touch and let out a low hum.

Ajiu pressed his forehead against Guan Ye's, his reddened eyes staring straight at her, his Adam's apple bobbing as he spoke, "Guan Ye, I'm hungry."

Guan Ye lightly brushed against his brow bone, "So much good wine and food, didn't you eat any?"

"Do I look like I'm eating?" Ajiu pulled her hand and sucked on it, lowering her eyes and speaking softly.

Guan Ye recalled the scenes from the banquet. A Jiu was being entertained by everyone and drank a lot of wine, but it seemed that he didn't eat much. "Then you can't..." Guan Ye pulled out her finger, "eat me."

"I just want to devour you." Ajiu suddenly leaned towards her and kissed the soft spot he had longed for for so long. Their four petals touched, and Guan Ye was stunned as if she had been struck by acupuncture. Seeing that Guan Ye did not resist, Ajiu felt pleased. Of course, he was not willing to stop after just a taste. He gently licked her for a moment, and his soft tongue began to explore and invade.

Guan Ye tried to squeeze out some words, but A Jiu wouldn't give her the chance. He forcefully pressed his lips against Guan Ye's, his tongue gliding over her teeth like an attack on a pool. Guan Ye wanted to pull away, but deep down she secretly longed for him to continue. This unprecedented feeling made her feel very comfortable, and she wanted to feel even more comfortable.

Ajiu wasn't lying; he was truly hungry. After a brief pause, he cupped Guan Ye's rosy face in his hands again, lowering his head to cover it once more. Guan Ye was caught off guard once more, unsure of what to do, and could only close her eyes tightly and let him do as he pleased. His tongue pried open her teeth, and Ajiu's breathing grew heavier and heavier. As if guided by instinct, Guan Ye suddenly understood and began to do the same as Ajiu. Ajiu opened his eyes with difficulty and sat up slightly, "Are you going to eat me too?"

The fire had spread and was no longer easy to extinguish. Ajiu didn't give Guan Ye a chance to answer and started again skillfully, this time even more fiercely. Guan Ye responded enthusiastically to his movements.

After an unknown amount of time, the two of them finally calmed down, embracing each other tightly. Ajiu struggled to release her lips and teeth, and couldn't help but kiss Guan Ye's eyes and nose again, taking a deep breath and pulling her into his arms.

“Guan Ye…” Ajiu kissed her cheek hard again, “You’re so good.”

"Aren't you hungry anymore?" Guan Ye leaned her head back on his shoulder, gazing at the starry sky, the heat in her body gradually dissipating.

Ah Jiu tilted her head and glanced at Guan Ye. With a workshop, a sword, and Guan Ye, this is how life is. Ah Jiu, you should be content.

Ah Jiu breathed heavily for a few moments, then pulled Guan Ye's hand to her chest. "What do you think?"

Guan Ye stopped talking and fiddled with A Jiu's fingers, as if talking to herself, "If only it could always be like this, just like this, how wonderful that would be."

"After we settle the matter of the Blood Crossbow Case, I'll take you away." Ajiu held Guan Ye's hand tightly.

"Why didn't you try to persuade me to give up?" Guan Ye murmured. "I don't know if I can do it."

Ajiu gripped her hand even tighter. "If I can't help you, I'm not the Ajiu you know. You are Guan Ye, destined to be the number one blacksmith in the world. Even if I really tried to persuade you, you would never agree. Otherwise..." Ajiu turned to look at Guan Ye's resolute face, "you wouldn't leave Canglang Island either."

"You're the one who received the fish-handling tally," Guan Ye said deliberately. "Are you really willing to leave?"

The darkness concealed A-Jiu's inscrutable expression. "It's just a fish-handling token. If possible, I'd like to leave now..."

Guan Ye heard it, but didn't quite catch it. She was feeling drowsy from the alcohol and really couldn't hold on any longer. She leaned on A Jiu's shoulder, feeling so secure.

Ajiu picked up the sleeping Guan Ye in his arms and kissed her nose again. "You heartless girl, how can you fall asleep like this?" He carried Guan Ye into the quiet room and, after settling her in, turned around. He saw the colorful windmill on the windowsill again. It was just a small item that could be bought for a penny. He had seen many nice things in Rongdu over the past few months, but she still cherished it so much.

Ah Jiu sat slumped in her chair, pulling out a windmill and fiddling with it. The wind and sun outside the window had faded the vibrant colors, but it was still beautiful. Ah Jiu recalled that night when she was terrified and took off her armor, feeling helpless like a child who had seen a ghost. She climbed onto her own back, dangling her empty body with her hands hanging down, calling her own name over and over again, afraid that she too would disappear from the world and be abandoned by everyone else.

Carrying the girl on his back, Ajiu secretly vowed that he would never leave her again in this lifetime. That one glance they exchanged on the Hu Xian boat made them no longer feel alone.
