Chapter 116: Scooping Up Sweet Spring Water
Chapter 116: Scooping Up Sweet Spring Water
Cheng Bing put her hands behind her back, took the several tubes of watercolor paint from Fang Yuenian's hands, and put them back on the table.
Throughout the entire process, he stared at Fang Yuenian's face, their eyes meeting, making Fang Yuenian's imagination run wild and causing her some agitation.
I want to sit on Cheng Bing's lap again.
This position was incredibly alluring to Fang Yue Nian. Almost as soon as the thought crossed his mind, he was already in the mood for it—Cheng Bing gave him a helping hand and moved him onto her lap.
The whole sequence of movements was fluid and seamless, but Fang Yuenian, whose private parts had been touched, nearly sprang into the air, her eyes practically bulging out of their sockets. "You..."
After settling him in, Cheng Bing put one arm around his waist again, pressed the other against his leg, and leaned down to kiss his cheek affectionately.
Fang Yuenian was instantly reassured and pursed her lips, "Brother Cheng?"
"Hmm?" Cheng Bing leaned back in her chair, spreading her legs apart.
After adjusting his posture, he touched Fang Yuenian's face and whispered, "Your face is so hot."
"Really?" Fang Yuenian quickly patted her face. "No."
Cheng Bing chuckled lightly, "They're quite popular too."
Fang Yuenian lowered her head in annoyance: "I'm getting more and more prone to blushing."
"Isn't it good?" Cheng Bing hugged him, "Only in front of me."
Fang Yuenian's mind wandered, and she muttered to herself with her head down, "Only in front of you, I would blush more than just."
Cheng Bing's gaze sharpened for a moment.
Fang Yuenian realized something was off after she finished speaking. She looked up and found Cheng Bing's gaze fixed on her face, unwavering and gentle.
"What else will happen?" he asked softly.
Fang Yuenian's heart trembled at those words.
Cheng Bing has that kind of skill; with just a few words, without really doing anything, she can make him weak in the knees.
His mind raced, and his hands, gripping the hem of Cheng Bing's T-shirt, tightened involuntarily. "You'll also..." He couldn't finish his sentence, but finally leaned in and kissed Cheng Bing on the lips. "Anyway, you know that."
If he hadn't moved back and forth like that, things would have been fine, but he forgot his current position. After he finished kissing her, Cheng Bing's eyes clearly held something else.
Cheng Bing pulled her arms back, her throat tightening, "Yes, I know."
Because I'm the same way.
To be precise, neither of them was entirely at ease about this aspect. If they crossed any lines verbally or physically, the one who crossed would immediately back down. Even a movie's intervention couldn't completely dispel their anxiety. This wasn't due to their immaturity; at such a young and naive age, especially after being exposed to incorrect information, it's natural to experience a mix of longing and fear regarding the unknown when facing a teenage lover.
Cheng Bing seemed to have thought about it for a long time before turning her head to gently kiss his earlobe, her voice even lower, "When I was taking a shower, I originally wanted to do it myself... but later, I still wanted you to help me more."
Fang Yuenian understood almost instantly—after all, he had noticed it the moment she sat on his lap.
Everything was self-evident. Fang Yuenian's breathing quickened, because he was pressed tightly against Cheng Bing's chest and could hear his strong heartbeat. Thinking of that day... his ears burned red, and he couldn't help but say, "So long..."
"So," Cheng Bing said softly, "will you help me?"
Fang Yuenian couldn't resist his way of speaking so close to her ear, and immediately responded with action, cupping his face and kissing him.
The kiss was urgent, and their breathing was clearly audible, like the prelude to a storm. When they parted, Fang Yuenian's eyes were somewhat unfocused.
Cheng Bing was completely encouraged.
When Fang Yuenian came to her senses, she only felt the air conditioning was slightly cool.
Cheng Bing's hands were so long and nimble, giving him a tingling, electric-like sensation, as if he were being bitten by ants.
With the boy in her palm, Cheng Bing could no longer resist. She leaned down and, following her heart, savored every inch of him, as if scooping up sweet spring water or picking out fragrant blossoms.
Fang Yuenian leaned back in an arc, her hands gripping the back of the chair tightly, cooperating without reservation.
"Brother Cheng." His voice was hoarse, and his words touched Cheng Bing's heart.
Both of them had wasted their time taking a shower; their backs were soaked with sweat.
Later, Fang Yuenian leaned on Cheng Bing's left shoulder, not daring to look at him. Her hand was aching terribly, but hearing Cheng Bing's suppressed panting in her ear filled her with satisfaction.
Although things went beyond Cheng Bing's expectations, they didn't cross the line in the end. He hugged Fang Yuenian and nestled in the chair, giving him enough reward.
Afterwards, neither of them spoke. They embraced and slowly calmed their breathing. Cheng Bing would occasionally place a light kiss on Fang Yuenian's temple, their affection overflowing.
If the last time it was somewhat due to the emotions evoked after watching a movie, then this time it was a genuine reaction from the depths of their feelings. For a young couple, such intimate contact makes all the difference; they seem to be closer than ever before.
A bunch of little things were spread out on the table, waiting for the two of them to play with them.
But it was getting late, and since they were feeling a bit unwell, they needed to go back and take another shower. So the two tidied themselves up quickly and then lingered together for a while, chatting for a long time before finally parting ways.
During her second shower tonight, Fang Yuenian discovered numerous red marks on her ribs, and further up... they were also reddened.
He couldn't think back, he couldn't think back at all. His face started to burn again. The shower water was already set to cool, but it still couldn't extinguish the flame in his heart.
The next day, Fang Yuenian had nothing to do for half a day because Cheng Bing was going to Lin's grandmother's house for dinner.
Come to think of it, since returning home after the college entrance exam, he hasn't had a single day like this, just sitting around eating and drinking. He's been busy with all sorts of random things. So when he was lounging on the sofa with half a watermelon, watching TV, he exclaimed from the bottom of his heart, "This is so great!"
Feeling a surge of joy, he wanted to share, so he took out his phone, snapped a picture of the watermelon TV, sent it to Li Peixiang, and asked, "Aren't you envious?"
After a while, Li Peixiang replied. He also posted a photo of himself eating melon seeds. In fact, he was wearing shorts and barefoot, and the background of the picture looked like a farmhouse courtyard and a straw mat.
Fang Yuenian found this strange and asked, "Where are you?"
Li Peixiang first posted a smug emoji, then posted a picture, which truly surprised Fang Yuenian.
"!!!! You're at Meng Xiaoyang's grandma's house?!"
In the picture, Meng Xiaoyang still looks refined and relaxed, smiling and talking to an elderly person next to him.
"Grandma invited me, buddy, aren't you awesome? The Children's Palace is closed for the next couple of days, so we're going back together tomorrow."
Fang Yuenian was surprised by their progress and quickly typed, "So, what about now?"
"No rush, there's plenty of time. Are you two having fun at home? Do you have any more opportunities to spend time alone together?"
Fang Yuenian snorted: "Completely enjoyable, no need to worry."
Li Peixiang's next message was full of implications: "Anything else you need? I'll buy it for you, like... safety stuff?"
Fang Yuenian took a moment to realize what it meant, and her heart raced. She immediately replied, "No, no need."
Wang Jing left home in the morning and just returned to prepare lunch. She was quite surprised to see her son leisurely eating watermelon, watching TV, and playing on his phone.
After all, there were too many things to do during this period, and Fang Yuenian kept a blank face every day, like she was carrying a weight.
"Hmm, Mom?" Fang Yuenian was just chatting about inappropriate topics when she suddenly saw Wang Jing and felt a little awkward. "You're back?"
"Okay," Wang Jing said with a smile, "Niannian, just stay home and rest for a few days. Mom will cook you your favorite dishes, okay?"
Fang Yuenian: "Uh, oh, okay."
Wang Jing went into the kitchen with satisfaction.
In the afternoon, Cheng Bing and Cheng Junjun finally dragged their feet and said goodbye to Grandma Lin's house before heading home.
I was so full. Even though I had secretly resolved beforehand to eat according to my own appetite and not to follow Grandma Lin's loving advice to eat more.
However, things didn't go according to plan. As soon as they entered the door, Grandma Lin said, "Your mother-in-law came over this morning and said that it's hot and she can't eat. She made some side dishes for you two, so I didn't cook much. Come and eat."
Cheng Junjun and Cheng Bing felt somewhat comforted, but after dinner...
"Here you are, Junjun, your favorite lettuce. It's just stir-fried, nothing else is added, it's very fresh!"
"And this, a young rooster that was just killed this morning. Your uncle heard that I was calling you two to eat today, so he brought it over specially. You two both like braised dishes, so eat more."
"Little Bingbing, you're a big boy, can't you finish this fish head? No way, look how hard it is to study. You're too thin, you need to grow stronger so you can take care of your girlfriend when you go to college."
Cheng Junjun chuckled and said, "Grandma, nowadays girls like tall and thin guys, not too muscular ones."
"Oh, that won't do!" Grandma Lin lectured. "A man is supposed to be the pillar of the family. It's okay if he's well-behaved when he's young, but he definitely needs to be physically strong when he grows up. Look at that young Qingqing from the next village. On his wedding day, he had to carry his bride out of the car, but he couldn't even lift her. How embarrassing!"
Cheng Junjun: "Huh? Really? What happened next?"
Grandma Lin: "Later? Later, the bride's cousin carried her."
Cheng Junjun: "This is so embarrassing..."
While her sister was gossiping, Cheng Bing inexplicably thought of the scene where Fang Yuenian kept jumping on him.
Hmm... Fang Yuenian is still too thin. I need to make him eat more in the future, and he can jump on me after he gains some weight... Cheng Bing finished eating the fish head.
When Cheng Qiuyan got home, she saw that the two children had been overfed and felt both sorry for them and amused. She quickly gave them some digestive tablets.
Cheng Junjun could barely walk, so she leaned on Cheng Qiuyan and asked, "Mom, has Grandma always liked to feed you like this since you were little?"
Cheng Qiuyan said, "Yes, back then, even though conditions were bad, food was scarce. Your father was an apprentice to your grandfather, and your great-grandmother would always bring him food."
Cheng Junjun became interested, "Mom, did you recognize Dad when you were little?"
"I recognize it."
"So, who confessed their feelings first?"
Cheng Qiu was taken aback by her question, and poked her forehead with his finger, saying, "You talk too much."
Undeterred, Cheng Junjun clung to Cheng Qiuyan's arm and shook it repeatedly, "Mom, tell me quickly, how did Dad propose to you later?"
Cheng Bing also stopped and looked at her with curiosity.
Cheng Qiuyan smiled helplessly, still refusing to say, only saying, "Ask your dad."
Lin Guohui has been busy lately and hasn't been home for quite some time.
Cheng Junjun said, "Okay, I'll ask when Dad gets back."
Cheng Bing silently went to find Fang Yuenian to walk and digest her food.
In the evening, Cheng Bing took out her harmonica, carefully wiped it clean, and played a tune for her mother and sister.
His pace was a little slow, but still quite skilled. The evening heat gradually dissipated, and the breeze through the room was quiet and gentle. Cheng Junjun leaned on Cheng Qiuyan's arm and felt that this was the happiest time of the summer vacation.
Afterwards, Cheng Bing smiled and said, "I almost forgot, it's been too long since I played this."
"So charming," Cheng Junjun chimed in. "Cheng Bing, tell me honestly, have you ever received love letters from female classmates at school?"
Before Cheng Bing could speak, Cheng Qiuyan smiled and patted Cheng Junjun, saying, "Even if he did, he wouldn't tell us."
“That’s true,” Cheng Junjun nodded, then added with certainty, “But there definitely are, Mom. You don’t know how daring high school students are these days.”
Cheng Qiuyan then asked, "And you, have you ever received a love letter from a boy?"
Turning her attention away from Cheng Junjun, Cheng Qiuyan was more concerned about whether Cheng Junjun, at her age, was in a relationship. As for Cheng Bing, she felt that since she was still young, even if she was dating, it was probably just for fun.
Cheng Bing managed to slip away, said hello, and took her harmonica to the carpenter's shop.
Fang Yuenian was mixing paints by himself; he had promised to accompany him on the harmonica, so he couldn't be late. Author's Note: Thank you to my mentor 9492239 (9492239) for your support! For more exciting content, please leave a message for this book on Liancheng Reading.
