Chapter 118: Goodnight Kiss
Cheng Xiaoxiao cooked dinner, with Cheng Bing helping out, while Fang Yuenian kept the two of them entertained. The three siblings enjoyed themselves immensely.
After dinner, since Cheng Xiaoxiao had to go to work the next day, they chatted briefly before getting ready to wash up. The bedding and various daily necessities for the two of them had been arranged in advance.

Fang Yuenian crouched down next to him and said with emotion, "We're so happy, we really got to travel."
He leaned most of his body against Cheng Bing. Cheng Bing turned around and asked, "Have you decided where to go tomorrow?"
Fang Yuenian was having a hard time making a decision, hesitating between several places he had researched beforehand. He tilted his head and said, "How about we decide tomorrow morning?"
Cheng Bing chuckled and continued packing the boxes. "Okay."
Fang Yuenian looked at his profile, and the more she looked, the happier she felt. She found him more and more endearing, so she leaned over and gave him a big kiss on the cheek.
Cheng Bing was caught off guard by this turn of events and instinctively glanced at the door.
Fortunately, Cheng Xiaoxiao closed the door when she left, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
Fang Yuenian didn't care at all, and happily went to find her clothes after kissing the person.

Caught off guard by being called by her nickname, Fang Yuenian felt a jolt in her heart. "Wh-what?"
Cheng Bing closed her eyes, as if murmuring, "I hope that every day from now on, I can fall asleep with you and wake up with you."
Fang Yuenian's eyes widened; he was struck by those words.
Having received no reply for a while, Cheng Bing turned to look at him and whispered, "Are you asleep?"
Fang Yuenian: "Oh, no."
"Then why aren't you saying anything?"
Fang Yuenian sniffed, slowly moved closer, and leaned against his shoulder and arm.
Cheng Bing immediately tensed up, "What are you doing here?"
Fang Yuenian propped herself up with one hand, leaned over, and slowly kissed his brow bone, then moved down to kiss his lips.
"Nothing much, just a goodnight kiss." And after the kiss, she didn't leave, but quietly leaned against him.
Cheng Bing's face was tense, but he only lasted three seconds before surrendering. He reached out and hugged Fang Yuenian tightly, then turned over and quickly reversed their positions.
The bed creaked.
“My sister lives right next door,” Cheng Bing said.
Fang Yuenian gave a very soft "hmm".
Cheng Bing lowered her head and sealed his lips with hers.
It was a quiet, innocent goodnight kiss, the two of them embracing silently in the darkness, offering each other intimate comfort.
Fang Yuenian had a strong desire for such contact; only Cheng Bing could make him feel completely relaxed and safe.
After the kiss, Fang Yuenian grabbed his collar and confirmed, "Even if we can't sleep together and wake up together every day, promise me that as long as we sleep together, you must give me a goodnight kiss like this."

Finally at ease, Fang Yuenian leaned against him and gradually fell asleep.

After Cheng Xiaoxiao got up and finished preparing, she went next door to knock on the door and ask if the child was awake.
