In my mind, Mr. Zhou’s voice was as teasing as ever.
After following Lin Yao for so long, this was the first time he saw such a complicated expression on Lin Yao's face.
It feels a bit like disgust, and a bit like satisfaction!
Its complexity is comparable to alchemy!
Lin Yao ignored Mr. Zhou's teasing, a slight smile on his lips, and uttered only two words lightly: "Very sweet!"
"Damn! You can actually laugh too?"
Old Zhou looked at the smile on Lin Yao's lips and screamed as if he had seen a ghost.
Lin Yao did not respond, but his dark eyes were fixed on Ji Mingyan. He would look at him, take a sip of porridge, and then smile after taking a sip of porridge.
It’s like eating Ji Mingyan with rice!
Mr. Zhou was horrified by his own thought!
Only after he finished the last sip did Lin Yao slowly walk to Ji Mingyan and hand the bowl to him.
"What's wrong? Not enough?"
Ji Mingyan looked at the bowl handed to him with some confusion and asked.
Lin Yao was about to say something when a woman came over hesitantly and said with a red face, "Young man, can you give me some of your porridge? I'll give you this in exchange!"
The woman was holding a bag of bread in her hand, her face slightly flushed, as if she was a little ashamed of exchanging the bread for whole-grain porridge.
Ji Mingyan grinned and said, "Okay!"
As he said that, he took Lin Yao's bowl, scooped a full bowl and handed it to the woman.
The woman put down the bread, thanked him and left.
Ji Mingyan sighed and said, "How polite!" Then he remembered something and looked up at Lin Yao.
"Were you not full just now? Do you want to..."
Before Ji Mingyan could finish his words, Lin Yao exuded a terrifying low pressure. He turned around with a gloomy face and interrupted him coldly, "No need!"
Then he lifted his foot and walked away.
Looking at Lin Yao's departing back, Ji Mingyan scratched his head, not understanding how he had provoked this black-faced evil spirit again!
If you can't figure it out, just stop thinking about it. Ji Mingyan scooped himself another bowl of porridge and drank it in big gulps.
At this time, Ji Mingzhu approached and poked Ji Mingyan's arm.
"Brother, how did you offend Brother Lin?"
Ji Mingzhu secretly glanced at Lin Yao who was approaching the RV and asked quietly.
"Did I make him angry?"
Ji Mingyan was stunned for a moment and asked back.
It seems like he didn't make the villain angry?
"Besides, is he angry?"
Ji Mingzhu rolled her eyes almost to the sky, glared at Ji Mingyan unhappily, and sneered, "Haha, you dead straight man!"
No wonder you don’t have a wife!
Ji Mingzhu didn't want to pay any more attention to his stupid brother. He picked up the bowl and scooped a portion for himself, then ran to Sister Li and Lin Shi to talk in private.
By the way, when did Ji Mingzhu become so close to Sister Li and Lin Shi?
Ji Mingyan scratched his head, confused.
After finishing the porridge in the bowl, Ji Mingyan was just about to put away the simple wooden frame when he saw a young man with a bruised face and nose walking towards him cautiously.
"Brother, can you, can you give me some porridge?"
The boy was trembling all over. He was wearing a loose and ill-fitting piece of clothing. He was thin and had bruises on his arms that were exposed outside the clothes. It was obvious that he had been abused for many years and was malnourished.
Seeing the boy's timid look, Ji Mingyan felt a little pity and gave all the last bit of food in the pot to the boy.
The young man took it with many thanks, and walked towards a woman with the big bowl in both hands.
The woman had a ferocious look on her face. When she saw the boy coming, she snatched the bowl from his hand and slapped him in the face.
"You freeloader bastard, you've been gone for so long, don't you know your brother is too hungry to bear it?"
The woman yelled and cursed sharply, kicking the boy twice with her feet.
He kicked the boy until he fell to the ground and lay motionless.
"snort!"
Seeing that the young man didn't move, the woman sneered and went to a car parked on the side of the road with the bowl.
The young man was left lying on the ground, gasping for breath.
Seeing this, Ji Mingyan took a few big steps forward, helped the boy up, and asked with concern, "How are you?"
The young man gathered his clothes, stood up with red eyes, and bowed to Ji Mingyan, "Thank you, kind man!"
After the boy said this, he stumbled towards the car.
Looking at the young boy's back, Ji Mingyan sighed, and finally shook his head and returned to the RV.
"Thank you for the porridge, big brother!"
Back at the RV, there were three people standing there.
A burly man, a petite woman and a child.
The woman was the one who came over to exchange the porridge just now!
Seeing the woman, Ji Mingyan smiled innocently, "No need to thank me, big sister, what's this?"
The woman smiled gently, glanced at her husband, then looked at Ji Mingyan and said, "This is my husband and daughter Yaya, Yaya, call me uncle!"
Yaya looked about five or six years old. She was cute and delicate, with two long black braids and two dimples when she smiled.
After hearing what her mother said, Yaya obediently called out "Uncle!" and then hid behind her father.
Ji Mingyan smiled and sighed, then he took out a lollipop from the space like a magic trick and handed it to Yaya, "This is for Yaya!"
Yaya looked at the lollipop and her eyes lit up!
