Sweet Dream Cake and the Dark Wizard's Oven Showdown
A pink and black baking table was set up in Storybrooke Square. A dark wizard, wearing a pointed hat, appeared, his "nightmare oven" spewing Cthulhu-like smoke (foreshadowing in Volume 12). On the judges' panel, the Poison Queen wore lipstick inspired by the Western fantasy story (foreshadowing in Volume 9), and a three-eyed wolf secretly stuffed a beeswax comb from the ancient Chinese story into his suit (foreshadowing in Volume 8).
"Welcome to the Cursed Baking Contest!" The dark wizard waved his wand, and a screaming ghost cake emerged from the baking tray. "The winner will have the right to devour Storybrooke!"
Xiaodou climbed onto the baking table, carrying an egg beater. An energy chip from the Star Wars chapter (a foreshadowing of Volume 2) fell out of her apron pocket. The chip projected a message of encouragement from the mechanical cat: "Come on, Xiaodou! Set the oven temperature to 180 degrees!"

“First, make the cake base!”
Xiaodou uses his tail to curl up the spirit-gathering shovel from the immortal realm (a foreshadowing in Volume 5) and mixes it with crushed osmanthus cake from the demon realm, the mutated wheat from the apocalypse, and milk tea powder from the campus chapter. Suddenly, remembering the mechanical cat's reminder, he adds real-world Linshen brand honey to the batter (a foreshadowing in Volume 7). When the oven starts, the fur of the pine spirit mouse floats into the flames, transforming into a fire spirit that dances the "Love Cycle."
The dark wizard took out a bitter melon cake marinated with fear from the "nightmare oven". The frosting figures on the cake kept crying. As soon as the judges tasted it, their San values dropped sharply (refer to the settings in Volume 12).

"Next comes the decoration part!"
Azuki nibbles the rainbow spirit plant from the game arc (foreshadowing in Volume 4), emitting sweet dream energy that dyes the cream rainbow colors. Then, using the treasure-stealing claws from the martial arts arc (foreshadowing in Volume 8), she creates iconic desserts from each world: the demon world's Xuanbing sorbet, the interstellar energy macarons, and the Cthulhu world's marshmallow tentacles. Finally, she writes a blessing in rat language with her tail: "Sweetness will never fade~"
Not to be outdone, the Dark Wizard summons a coalition of darkened fairytale bosses: the Fire-Breathing Dragon Knight (Western Fantasy), the Zombie Rat King (Volume 6), and the Mechanical Cat's Malfunctioning Projection (Volume 11). Xiaodou has a sudden inspiration and throws out "Role Reversal Cake Crumbs," which instantly take effect upon contact with the bosses:
- The Fire-breathing Dragon Knight's mount turns into a Metal Rabbit Dragon (an Easter egg in Volume 9), and is begging for a carrot;
- The Zombie Rat King holds an expired Coke can (foreshadowing in Volume 6) and says tearfully, "Actually, I just want to drink milk tea...";
- The mechanical cat projection suddenly plays square dance music, and the fault code turns into a cake doll that can twirl its waist.

"I, I'll help you!"
Pinocchio's cricket summoned up its courage and used its tentacles to lift the time correction watch components from the Infinite Flow dungeon (a foreshadowing from Volume 11), adding time-speed frosting to Azuki's cake. The moment the cake was finished, exclamations echoed from the judges' seats—light patterns of the numbers of the guardians of each world emerged on the frosting, ultimately forming the eternal symbol of "001 + ∞."
"This cake contains... courage, friendship, and a sweetness that transcends time and space!" The Poison Queen was so moved that she burst into tears, her tears actually melting her poison apple lipstick. "I declare Xiaodou the winner!"
The dark wizard stamped his feet in frustration, but was tripped by his own "nightmare oven", revealing the mechanical cat gear belt hidden under his black robe (foreshadowing in the third volume): "Impossible! I am..."
Realistic Express Delivery in Giant Country
After the baking competition, a giant descended from the clouds to deliver a real-world package. The package was filled with a stethoscope model from Lin Shen's clinic (a foreshadowing of Volume 12) and a holographic sticker of a mechanical cat. Xiaodou opened the package and found a note hidden inside the stethoscope model:
"The sweetness of fairy tales needs the fulcrum of reality—I'll take care of the temperature of your oven."
The signature was "L.S," identical to the veterinarian's signature on the campus idol's phone wallpaper in Chapter 7. Xiaodou's claw heart rune glowed a thirteenth time, resonating with the "001→14" arrow on the delivery box, foreshadowing the final journey of Volume 14.
The black wizard took advantage of the chaos to steal a piece of cake, but the moment she took a bite, she regained her kindness and hugged Xiaodou, crying, "It turns out that sweet dreams are more delicious than curses... I was wrong!" She took out the "Sacrificial Candy", one of the four elements of fairy tales. The candy wrapper was printed with an apology letter from the mechanical cat: "I'm sorry for stealing your snacks before~"
