Chapter 120 The Baby's Control Group

Although the pillars of the nation wished they were deaf and couldn't hear it, the little one had already spoken, and they had to respond.

Changxiu was a shrewd person, and he was naturally a man of few words, cold and ruthless, and not one to say nice things. The Shadow Guard was even more so. So the two of them looked at Ning Guanyan in the middle.

Ning Guanyan felt a chill run down his spine, but he still had to reply with a smile:

"Perhaps His Highness is mistaken. Why would His Majesty be crying?"

The cub's mouth was faster than Emperor Chong Le's hands. Just as Emperor Chong Le reached to pinch the little guy's mouth, he had already swiftly said:

"Father cried secretly; he was very lonely."

Ning Guanyan was taken aback: "Ah, Your Majesty... It's cold in the deep palace. Would Your Majesty like to find some close confidants, or even just chat with your ministers, to dispel the chill?"

Seeing this, Changxiu chimed in, "If Your Majesty dislikes people, the alien race has also presented a batch of ferocious beasts as tribute today. Each one is powerful and mighty, suitable for fighting, hunting, or even just stewing them for soup."

Shadow Guard: "..."

"Your Majesty, please don't be sad."

Goodness, even the shadow guard was forced to speak.

Although this level is similar to that of Prince Xiaolong, it's still the bottom line for Ning Guanyan and the others!

For a moment, their gazes toward Emperor Chongle became even more concerned.

Emperor Chongle curled his lips downwards, his eyes turning cold and sharp:

"Get out of here, all of you."

The Shadow Guard is the fastest runner.

Although Ning Guanyan knew martial arts, he couldn't match the other two's lightness skills. He moved with lightning speed and quickly closed the door just before His Majesty became angry.

So the child and his unjustly father were left behind.

To punish the cub, Emperor Chongle forbade him from eating his favorite malt candy at noon.

Since they shouldn't eat too much sugar anyway, the baby dragon is unlikely to get cavities, but it's not impossible.

So the cub could only glare resentfully at his father who was withholding his snacks, muttering curses in the dragon language as he ate.

Emperor Chongle looked at the sulking little dragon cub and in the end just served the cub another bowl of medicinal food.

"Drink more of this, it's good for your health."

"Chirp chirp chirp!"

The cub's cheeks were bulging, and he didn't even have a chance to speak. Like any ordinary human cub, his father chased after him with a bowl to feed him, but he tilted his head to avoid it.

"Take a sip of this chicken soup made with the best medicinal herbs I had someone bring, quick!"

Chicks: "No! No! Poor chicken!"

Emperor Chongle was almost amused by the cub's antics: "Then why didn't you feel sorry for the chicken when you were eating it?"

The cub looked on longingly and said, "It tastes awful, it's pitiful."

Well, it's kind of pitiful that a chicken is made to taste terrible after it dies.

The cub then said, "Release it."

Then the tiny claws tried to close together to say goodbye, but because the dragon's body was too thick, they couldn't close together.

This is a common problem among all dragon species.

Looking at his clumsy chanting of Amitabha Buddha, Emperor Chongle couldn't help but wonder if it was because the cub was too soft-hearted and lacked the wildness and fierceness of a beast that it didn't resemble a dragon.

Well, Changxiu just mentioned that there's a group of ferocious beasts. Shall we take the cubs to see them and have a look around?

Just think of it as taking the kids to the zoo.

After Emperor Chongle made this decision, he immediately took his child to the back mountain where the wild animals were kept by special caretakers.

However, he didn't tell the cub why he brought him there.

The little guy followed his dad all the way up the mountain, thinking they were on a winter outing.

Although the little guy didn't understand what was so interesting about the bare mountain, and it wasn't as warm as the palace, it didn't matter, he could burrow under his father's clothes to keep warm!

Emperor Chongle watched from inside the sedan chair as the cub would hide in his clothes, circle around him biting its tail, and lean against him like it had no bones, but it would never sit properly in its seat. For the first time, he began to wonder if he had been spoiling the cub too much.

Sure enough, no matter how much parents cherish their children, how much they lack children, or how much they can't live without their children, they can't escape the hell that comes with raising children.

Early education is essential.

Otherwise, children won't know when they'll learn to become human.

With Emperor Chongle thinking this, the group finally arrived at the back mountain.

Standing on the edge of the highest cliff, the servants who had been waiting there for a long time had already prepared a large bucket full of fresh pork. Once the distinguished guest had passed, the servants simply picked up a piece of meat, gathered their strength, and threw it down the mountain.

The smell of blood gradually filled the air, and soon the roars of wild beasts echoed from the foot of the mountain. Several tigers leaped out of the woods and quickly began fighting over the scarce food, with blood, flesh, and fur flying everywhere.

The little guy had already bristled when he heard the tigers roar. He had just glanced at the tigers fighting when he was so frightened that he started whimpering and burrowing into his father's arms.

Emperor Chongle also felt the scene was somewhat bloody, after all, his child was still a dragon seedling. However, just as he frowned, the servants noticed something amiss and immediately said to Emperor Chongle:

"Your Majesty, if the young prince is afraid, he can also look at other pets with better temperaments. They are very obedient, but still majestic. The young prince will definitely like them."

So Emperor Chongle grabbed the little guy by the back of his collar and let the cub kick its legs to keep up with him.

The cub knew that his father still couldn't quite lift him at his current size, so he could only let the lower half of his tail drag on the ground.

When the father glared at it, the cub kicked its paws and paddled a couple of times in the water.

But thinking about it, taking a bath every day is quite a hassle, and he's a clean and tidy little guy.

So the cub took advantage of his father's inattention and swished his tail under the hem of Emperor Chongle's clothes.
