Chapter 141 Kidnapping

Zejin came here specifically for Qianyuan.

When Emperor Chongle led Qianyuan to the frontier, Zejin knew this was a good opportunity to strike.

The god he had longed for for so long could finally be captured and imprisoned in his palm.

Qianyuan was awakened by the deafening noise outside.

But why is there something wrong with the place where he woke up?

A tent...? Wasn't he at the magistrate's house?

Qianyuan got up and happened to bump into Zejin, who was outside the tent, as he lifted the curtain and came in, carrying a bowl of hot goat milk.

The little guy saw through the small gap behind Zejin that there were many aliens gathered outside, shouting and making a ruckus, not knowing what they were doing.

"You just woke up. This is goat milk that I specially went to the shed to get for you. Drink it while it's hot."

“Zejin…” The little guy was still confused and didn’t understand what was going on, but he was also a little surprised. “I thought you were angry with me. I sent you so many letters, and you didn’t reply to any of them…”

Zejin pulled out a neat stack of letters from his pocket, though they were clearly been frequently turned over, and said indifferently:

"These? Our positions are different, so I can't reply to you."

Qianyuan: "Then why did you bring me here in the first place? Aren't you afraid of being discovered?"

Zejin moved closer to him, his taller and rougher, more rugged figure, tanned by the wind and sun, coming into Qianyuan's view. His rough fingers touched Qianyuan's face.

“I’ve kidnapped you. I won’t use you to threaten Da Yu, but you can’t go back.”

"You are my spoils of war, and I will take you back to the Western Regions."

Qianyuan's pupils contracted, like a shocked little beast with its fur standing on end.

Zejin's hand moved down, grasped Qianyuan's belt, tightened it, and said in a displeased tone:

"Cheng is an adult now, but why have you lost so much weight? Did Emperor Chongle not feed you properly?"

Qianyuan, unsure whether to answer as a hostage, finally whispered under Zejin's heterochromatic gaze:

"No, my dad is very good to me. I'm just sick."

"How come you don't get sick if I keep you confined all the time? When we get to the Western Regions, I'll take off the bracelets on your feet. You won't be able to escape there anyway."

Because Zejin's words were so matter-of-fact, Qianyuan didn't know what to ask. His CPU was burning out for a long time.

How did you know that Father had imprisoned me in the palace?

Zejin seemed to have no intention of hiding anything from Qianyuan anymore; he laid bare his ambitions, revealing them one by one before her:

"Because I've been having people spying on you, because I..."

Zejin leaned down and whispered something in Qianyuan's ear.

Qianyuan pursed her lips and hid behind her as if she had been burned.

But where can he hide?

Zejin isn't in a hurry. Qianyuan hasn't figured it out yet. Anyway, they have plenty of time.

Qianyuan could sense that Zejin truly meant her no harm. Instead, he harbored other feelings that Qianyuan was yet to understand…

Moreover, Zekin was originally a good person.

They are just from different countries and in different locations.

Therefore, Qianyuan still couldn't bring herself to dislike Zejin.

Sometimes he would think that it would be better if Zejin hadn't been born in the Western Regions, but in the same country as him.

If they were in Dayu, Zejin would surely have made a name for himself with his talents and entered the court as an official. Perhaps they would have grown up together, just like before, and become very good friends...

Perhaps, everything will turn out as Zejin wishes, and Qianyuan will become his supreme ruler and his lifelong companion.

There are no "what ifs".

Qianyuan held the steaming hot goat milk. Seeing that Zejin wasn't so fierce or that he disliked him, he tried to reason with him. But as soon as he opened his mouth, before he could even speak, Zejin seemed to know what he was going to say.

"Don't say those things, I won't listen. From now on, for every five words you say, I'll kiss you. You figure it out yourself."

Qianyuan: %*&@!

"You are also not allowed to swear in your heart."

Qianyuan clutched his head in terror, seemingly wondering if Zejin had also installed a surveillance camera inside his head.

Zejin looked like he knew him inside and out: "I didn't use any witchcraft, and I can't read minds, but I just know."

Because he likes Qianyuan.

It's that simple.

Qianyuan was forced to shut her mouth and become a mute beauty, but Zejin seemed unwilling to leave and insisted on sitting next to her. Qianyuan watched as he took off his clothes and began to change the dressing on the wounds on her body.

Qianyuan initially felt uneasy, but when he saw the wound on Zejin's abdomen that almost ran through his waist, he forgot everything else and eagerly moved closer, wanting to say something but not daring to.

Zejin seemed oblivious to pain, tearing off the scabs and flesh hanging on the cloth, pouring strong liquor on them to disinfect them, and impatiently and quickly changing the dressing, as if he didn't care about his injury at all and was just completing a task.

Qianyuan finally couldn't hold back any longer and said in a fast-paced voice, "Don't do it like that."

Zejin: ?

"I speak very fast!"

"These are the three characters **&!"

Zekin: ...

"Speak properly."

Qianyuan: "Then you're not going to kiss me?"

Zejin: "It depends on your performance and my mood."

"Come and help me apply the medicine."

Qianyuan had no choice but to sit down and lean over. He saw Zejin's severe injuries up close and couldn't help but hold his breath.

His hands were weak, but he still forced himself to stay close to Zejin's wound and carefully applied the medicine.
