The boy was clearly taken aback when he heard the doctor ask that question.
It's easy to see that he never even considered that possibility.
Now Qianyuan was truly wronged by the question:
"How could I hate my dad? I will always love my dad."
"I won't hate him."
“I just…don’t want Dad to be upset. He must be sick right now, and he needs to get treatment.”
The doctor blinked, and after a long pause, replied, "Okay. He should be treated."
The baby tells him what he should do, and he does it.
Therefore, Long Qian no longer suppressed his twisted and collapsing state. Suddenly, the presence of supernatural abilities shrouding the city became even stronger, like dark clouds covering the sky.
Qianyuan looked up blankly, and saw some threads, but they were not very obvious and disappeared in the blink of an eye.
Qianyuan wanted to take a closer look, but the doctor covered her eyes.
The doctor's voice gradually became unfamiliar, as if it were no longer the delicate voice Qian Yuan remembered, but her changed voice was also strangely familiar.
Qianyuan hadn't thought about that possibility yet.
However, the doctor sent him back home.
"Since you care about your father, then hurry home. He'll be back soon, and if a naughty child is caught, they'll be punished."
"Remember to get him proper treatment."
Before Qianyuan could say anything, she simply shoved the little guy back into the room through the window.
Qianyuan: ?
Qianyuan watched helplessly as a pair of hands outside closed the window, leaving not a single crack.
It was as if they were worried the cat would escape again after catching it, and they were keeping a close watch on it.
Qianyuan wanted to lean against the window to check the situation again, but then she heard a noise outside the door. It was Long Qian who had returned.
Qianyuan immediately sat up straight, pretending that she hadn't done anything wrong, but in Long Qian's eyes, the little guy looked like a dog that had destroyed the house, and her guilty expression couldn't be more obvious.
So Long Qian didn't open his arms to hug him, but sat on the chair by the door, like an emperor who held the power of life and death.
He clasped his hands together, his expression somber, looking down at his child from a high position, like a controller in Qianyuan's life.
"Baby, confess what you did wrong."
Qianyuan obediently came to Long Qian's feet, lay on Long Qian's knees, allowing Long Qian to touch the back of his neck and back, exposing his private parts to Long Qian's eyes.
He answered meekly, "I ran away secretly."
"I'm sorry, Dad."
After a while, the little guy raised his head, placed his face in his palm, and pretended to look pitiful: "Can you not punish me?"
Long Qian grasped Qian Yuan's face. Even though the little guy had grown up, he was still very thin and hadn't become healthy and strong at all. His face was only the size of a palm, and Long Qian could easily cover it.
Long Qian's gaze lingered on Qian Yuan's face, scrutinizing her closely. He seemed hesitant at first, but after some hesitation, he hardened his heart.
"Then go and copy it as punishment."
Long Qian originally wanted to hit Qian Yuan's palm with a ruler, but every time he did, the little guy's eyes would get swollen from crying.
Actually, when Long Qian punished Qian Yuan, it couldn't really be called a beating. He had already held back his strength; it was very light, and you could only feel a force, not even pain. But the little pampered girl was spoiled by him and couldn't stand the slightest grievance.
So Long Qian had no choice but to change his approach, continuing to punish while feeling sorry for the victim.
However, on the surface, Long Qian, who had a strong desire for control, did not show any emotion. He just silently watched Qian Yuan write scriptures in front of the table.
However, it seems that in the next second, Long Qian behind Qian Yuan changed.
It was as if he had become a completely different person, irritable and arrogant.
It was as if all the resentment he had suppressed before was revealed, but after seeing Qianyuan, it was as if he had been doused with a bucket of cold water, and all he could do was fuming.
Long Qian, now in a different state, walked up to Qian Yuan, looking as if he wanted to bite her, but in the end he only reached out a finger and poked Qian Yuan's face.
Qianyuan looked at him with her big, tearful eyes.
Wang Delong Qian clicked his tongue in disapproval.
"Damn...sigh. If you don't want to copy, just say so. You're all all smiles, about to cry, looking so pathetic."
Qianyuan's tears fell instantly, landing on the paper and on Long Qian's hand, scalding him and making him dizzy.
Long Qian cursed under his breath, wishing he could devour Qian Yuan, but he never hurt her. His actions suppressed his rage, yet remained gentle.
Like a naive boy encountering a treasure for the first time, he doesn't know how to cherish it. The fluffy feeling makes his heart itch, but he's not sure if the treasure belongs to him. He wants to touch it but doesn't dare to, and he doesn't know how to coax it. He can only say some silly things.
Having no other choice, he pulled Qianyuan into his arms and covered his mouth, saying, "Don't cry."
Qianyuan is too obedient; she doesn't cry when she's supposed to, but actually it's because Longqian interrupted her actions, and she forgot to cry.
Long Qian finally breathed a sigh of relief, touching Qian Yuan's face and muttering to himself:
"If you act cute and cuddly with me, I'll feel good and soften up, right? How can you be so stupid? Don't you understand?"
"If you act cute a little more, what can I possibly refuse you?"
Qian Yuan was stunned for a moment, then obediently rubbed her face against Long Qian's, wiping her tears on his face as well.
"I'm scattering it."
The little guy rubbed against him for a while, then hugged him again: "Have you softened?"
"Dad, you're too soft-hearted."
Long Qian felt that the little fool had been acting cute, but then again, he hadn't. He hadn't received a kiss on the cheek from Qian Yuan yet, but he was too embarrassed to ask again, so he could only follow Qian Yuan's lead:
