On the other side of the sleeping quarters was a small desk, on which was placed the Thousand Character Classic for the young boy to study, as well as several of the boy's favorite trendy toys.
Even the dragon bed had a small stool placed there, clearly to make it easier for smaller people to climb on.
After Emperor Chongle brought Little Fatty home, Little Fatty immediately jumped off Emperor Chongle's hand and ran around every corner of the palace with great joy.
Then the cub ran to open all the windows, and then closed them again at the shouts of Emperor Chongle.
Then he ran around like crazy, suddenly collapsed onto the carpet and rolled around, sticking his butt out and frantically sniffing the familiar scent of home in the room.
The entire bedchamber was filled with the pattering footsteps of the little chubby bird running around, and Emperor Chongle's voice telling the child to slow down.
The once quiet and deserted bedroom suddenly became lively.
Tired from running, the little chubby bird sprawled out at Emperor Chongle's feet, chirping for tea brewed by its father. Emperor Chongle even brought out osmanthus cake that the imperial chef had prepared in advance.
The little guy immediately grabbed the pastry and landed accurately in Emperor Chongle's sleeve, where all you could see was a round little thing wagging its tail.
"Don't drop any crumbs into my sleeves."
Emperor Chongle gave him a serious but earnest instruction.
I don’t know if the little guy heard me or not. He seemed to be engrossed in enjoying the time he used to sneak snacks from his father’s sleeve.
When Emperor Chongle called for someone to bring him a blanket, the cub said:
"I don't want this blue blanket, I want my old pink blanket."
"Where is the pink one?" Emperor Chongle had no choice but to have someone bring over all the swaddling clothes and bedding that had been changed for him from infancy to adulthood. Sure enough, there was a pink one, which was used when the cub was still a little dragon. It was a very small one, probably only the size of a blanket.
