Is it really that delicious?
Seeing the kitten's naive and unworldly appearance, Si Qiannan felt a pang of guilt for not giving it the best food.
He also saw online that some people personally prepared raw meat and bones for their kittens and fed them their own food.
Si Qiannan had considered this before, but his air-freighted beef hadn't arrived yet, and the chefs had all gone home for the day.
So the kitten still has to suffer a little.
The cat didn't know what was good or bad; he simply thought his father was very good at hunting.
Dad will always be the most amazing person in his heart.
The little guy was eating when he noticed that Si Qiannan was still sitting on the ground, staring at him blankly, in the same position. So he raised his head and tried to push the bowl up to his father's face with his head.
Even after the cubs have grown into kittens, they will still share the best food with their fathers.
Si Qiannan could still interpret the kitten's act of feeding him as the kitten trying to please him, but for a cat, sharing food with him against its instincts is clearly no longer considered trying to please him.
The child is really close to him and treats him like a father.
This is a child's instinct: to share the best things with the people they like the most.
The cat is barely able to take care of itself and doesn't have enough to eat, yet it still has to take care of him.
Si Qiannan could have easily said that she had food and didn't need him to take care of her.
But when the words were about to come out, Si Qiannan changed his tune:
"Baby is so great."
"What would we do with all this food if you weren't here?"
The little guy is just a child at heart, and his head is even smaller now, so it can't hold too much. That's why when Si Qiannan said that, he proudly raised his tail and started patrolling again.
It's really just about taking a few steps to aid digestion.
Si Qiannan was afraid that he would have indigestion, so she didn't feed him too much. After he took a few steps and didn't want to walk anymore, she picked up the cat again and rubbed his belly.
Si Qiannan had seen other people's cats before, and he knew that most kittens looked like this nowadays, but he still felt that his cat was a bit too thin and small, just like the little kitten he had met for the first time, looking like it would never get fat.
Si Qiannan really wanted to ask the cat to eat more next time, but Baidu told him that raising a kitten can't be rushed and must be done gradually.
"But you're a cat-person, don't you have any other special characteristics? Like eating a lot or growing very fast?"
The kitten blinked, but didn't meow.
It seems not.
Si Qiannan stroked his little cat and looked at a lot of cat-related content. He had been scrolling through these things on his phone for the past two days, even more so than at work. He couldn't control himself and bought a lot of cat products when he saw them being promoted.
Just as he was immersed in the peaceful world of raising cats, Wensheng learned that the old man had been angered by his father and immediately called to inquire about his well-being.
"Boss, I heard you've gone crazy, insisting on treating cats like children?"
Si Qiannan told him to get lost and stop talking nonsense.
Wen Sheng, however, became worried about the little cub. Although he had only met the cub once and was not very familiar with it, it was still a member of the Si family.
He couldn't bear to see Si Qiannan ignore and ostracize the cubs.
What is it about this cat that makes it so charming? Is it some kind of cat spirit?
Wensheng muttered to himself, but still decided to come and take a look.
He thought to himself, "I hope that innocent little cub won't be abused to death by Si Qiannan."
Si Qiannan walked around holding his cat in one hand. He was already quite skilled at holding cats, and the kitten's size was perfect for him to carry in his pocket.
If the cat is placed on the ground, it becomes too clingy and always tries to lie on Si Qiannan's slippers, which Si Qiannan is afraid of stepping on.
So wherever Si Qiannan went, he took the cat with him; he was the cat's mobile shelf.
After holding it for a while, he couldn't help but want to pinch the cat's soft pink paws and plump pink belly more often; they felt wonderful, especially when its dark eyes looked at him timidly...
Si Qiannan couldn't resist. After staring at the cat for a long time, he opened his mouth and put the cat's head into his mouth.
The cat's head is so small, it's perfect for him to sniff.
This was the scene that Wensheng saw as soon as he entered.
Wen Sheng felt like his world was collapsing. He couldn't understand how the Si family patriarch, who was once a brilliant strategist in the business world, had now become a cat slave obsessed with petting cats all day long.
Wensheng felt that anything he said now would be meaningless.
However, Si Qiannan was a man who had seen many storms, and even when his subordinates saw him eating a kitten, he could still calmly put on a show.
He acted as if nothing had happened, expressionlessly put the cat down, and asked him what he had come over for.
Wensheng asked cautiously, "Where are the cubs?"
Si Qiannan pointed at the cat.
Wen Sheng's face turned pale: "Boss, don't joke around. If you send the kid away, we won't say anything."
Si Qiannan knew that no matter how much he explained to Wensheng, it would be useless. Seeing is believing. Only when Wensheng saw it with his own eyes would he believe that it was not fake.
So he simply stopped explaining.
The cat, which was next to Wensheng, couldn't sense its father's presence and started meowing again.
After just a few days at home, the cub had already developed a spoiled personality under Si Qiannan's influence.
After all, his father treated him like an incredibly fragile newborn kitten, and his size and appearance were so small that Si Qiannan could take him to explore every corner of the house.
Si Qiannan always kept him under her wing.
