Chapter 446 The Fathers Gather Together

The couple's faces were shrouded in gloom, making them difficult to see. They reached out to Qianyuan and touched her face.

"That's wonderful, the children are so cute."

So Qianyuan was thrown into another demon's lair.

Abused and bullied, their bodies covered in cigarette burns and scars, this couple hides unimaginable dark and terrifying thoughts beneath their seemingly glamorous exterior.

There's only one thing they won't do: they won't hurt Qianyuan's face.

"If we raise it a bit bigger, its delicate and beautiful appearance should be very popular with those high-ranking officials..."

Qianyuan sometimes hears them say things like that.

But the dean had told him that the current couple were his new parents, and even if Qianyuan understood the meaning of those words now, he couldn't leave...

These are his family members...

...

"Damn it, damn it, all these people deserve to die!" Osiris's killing intent was heavier than ever before. If he could get there, he would definitely lead the merfolk to crush all these damned guys.

"They're nothing but straw dogs, their deaths are not worth regretting."

Emperor Chongle also commented that he was heartbroken; his beloved child, whom he had raised with utmost care and wealth, was being treated this way.

Long Qian didn't say anything; he just felt his teeth itching.

Shen Qianyu gripped his cane tightly, his knuckles turning white.

...

The story from Qianyuan's perspective continues.

Fortunately, the couple's scheme failed before Qianyuan's injuries were discovered by staff members who were making regular follow-up visits.

The staff member was young, with enthusiasm undiminished by power. He tenderly wrapped Qianyuan in a blanket and comforted him:

"Don't be afraid, I'll take you back to the orphanage."

Qianyuan's expression showed no fear, apprehension, or grievance; his face was only blank.

"But...Dad, Mom..."

The little guy still considers those two people as his family.

He thought that as long as he called his father and mother, he would have the family affection he dreamed of in fairy tales.

He didn't understand why his parents didn't love him, why they still hurt him, and why... they abandoned him.

"Get out! Who are your parents? People like you should die of illness in a garbage dump! You're filthy!"

Qianyuan's outstretched arms, which had been reaching out for a hug, finally came down.

His parents didn't want him anymore.

Qianyuan was taken to another welfare home. Fortunately, the director there was not so outrageous. He just did his job, raising the children and helping them to be adopted by families.

However, Qianyuan was returned each time because of illness or being too quiet, until he was older than the children and no longer old enough to be adopted.

However, a kind-hearted wealthy businessman sponsored them, enabling Qianyuan to receive treatment for his illness and alleviate his suffering when it flared up.

But in the end, Qianyuan died alone.

Until a mechanical voice echoed in his mind.

The system appeared.

And so the story begins.

...

The fathers were heartbroken at this sight and could not bear to watch any longer. They looked down at Qianyuan in front of them, the image of the little one before her death still vivid in their minds, making it difficult for them to shake off the heartache and pain.

They wanted to hug Qianyuan tightly, to make sure he was still alive, to make sure he wasn't alone.

But seeing those complex emotions, Qian Yuan didn't know what to say for a moment.

Qianyuan asked, bewildered, "What's wrong with you?"

Osiris concealed the murderous intent in his eyes and looked at Qianyuan with gentleness:

“It’s nothing, baby. You can go to whichever dad’s house you want now, it’s okay, we’ll love you no matter which dad it is.”

Qianyuan didn't know why the fathers' auras were so terrifying, yet they looked at him with such gentleness, as if he would melt away if the wind blew.

The little guy seemed a bit lost, but finally he honestly said:

"I want to go home. I want to go back to my monster dad's house."

This is Qianyuan's first home.

The fathers all heard Qianyuan's heartfelt words and understood what she was thinking, so none of them refused, and they all went home with Qianyuan.

Qianyuan turned her head to look at the several imposing fathers following her, and then looked at the small villa in front of her.

I wonder if Monster Dad will find it amusing to see him bringing so many people home...

Qianyuan asked them why they weren't doing their own things, but the fathers insisted on staying with Qianyuan and said that they could just have their subordinates relay any work requests, as nothing was more important than having them with Qianyuan.

Qianyuan looked at the fathers who had reached a consensus and simply couldn't understand how they had suddenly gone from competing with each other to being on the same side.

He also has no idea that the fathers' initial struggle and subsequent compromise were all for his sake.

Seeing their child suffer so much bullying and hardship in places they didn't know about, they were too busy giving Qianyuan unparalleled love to even think about putting pressure on her.

Monster Dad is one too.

After seeing Qian Yuan's memories, the first thing he did upon seeing Qian Yuan was to pick him up like a child, rocking and coaxing him in his arms, kissing his forehead endlessly, telling him he loved him, and saying that the baby was wonderful in every way.

"Our baby eats very well, sleeps very well, and can even find his way home. He is the smartest baby in the world and drinks the most milk."

"She is Daddy's one and only baby."

Qianyuan was so embarrassed by the praise that it seemed like even his ability to breathe had become a virtue. He could only bury his face in his father's neck, blushing deeply.
