Victor asked, "Could it be... that you don't like any of them?"
Nosius thought for a moment, then pricked his fingertip and squeezed out a drop of his own blood.
A drop of angel's blood, if ingested by a human, can even bring the dead back to life.
The cubs smelled the familiar scent, and the alluring aroma from their blood spread, making it hard for them to resist.
The cub's willpower was already weak, and with the added influence of instinct, he quickly wavered.

The cub consoled itself in this way.
Then he took Nosius's fingertips and started sucking on them.
