Those lucky ones who were caught by Qianyuan and had their hair braided were all angry but dared not speak out because of Nosius. They came clean and tidy, and left with a head full of childlike braids.
For Nosius, the loose, messy braids the cub had made were a masterpiece that no master artist in the world could rival.
He truly felt that the cub was very talented and would be well-suited to study with the dwarves. However, the cub couldn't just leave home whenever it wanted, so Nosius had already begun considering opening a branch of the Dwarven Craftsmanship Academy in the Celestial Realm.
Despite his thoughts, Nosius did not forget his business. He took the cub to the place where the elves lived in seclusion, where flowers blessed by the gods were said to produce nectar so sweet it could intoxicate.
As the cubs stared at the fish in the stream, they also sensed that eyes were on them.
Qianyuan was so frightened that she immediately hid in Nosius's arms. Nosius covered the cub tightly with his palm, so that it could not be seen from the outside.
Qianyuan hid for a while, then heard footsteps approaching from afar, followed by a clear and gentle voice: "Your Highness, what brings you to the Elven realm?"
Nosius replied, “My own cubs are weak and refuse to take medicine, so I have come to collect some nectar. In exchange, the angels will grant the elves one request.”
The elf paused for a moment, then said to Nosius, "It's just a little nectar; it's not worth Your Highness making such a promise."
Nosius said calmly, "The cub is worth it."
Elf: "Okay, please follow me."
Along the way, the cub, who was completely covered up, suddenly became a little curious. He peeked through Nosius's fingers, trying to get a peek outside, but just happened to meet the elf's eyes.
Perhaps it was because the spirit also had white hair, or perhaps it was because the spirit had an almost harmless aura like that of plants, but when Qianyuan saw the spirit's smile, she was not frightened, but instead felt a sense of closeness.
But that was all. Nosius, however, was not willing to accept this. He was an angel without desires, yet he could not bear to see his cubs getting close to the elves of other races.
The cubs' dependence on him eventually made him let his guard down.
The restraints on Nosius are gradually loosening.
Qianyuan has no idea that the other extreme of angels is the demon seed, which is madness beneath absolute rationality.
However, at this moment, Qianyuan was still a slow-reacting cub. Faced with Nosius's retaliatory act of secretly pinching him with his fingers, he could only get angry... then lie down and let himself be pinched, making "plop plop" sounds, similar to the squeezing of a toy.
The elf's smile turned blank: "? Why do I hear a hamster's squeaking?"
Nosius put his hands behind his back, his expression unchanged and his heart not skipping a beat: "I didn't hear it."
Qianyuan: ...
As Nosius spoke, his fingertips were still rubbing Chiyana's little belly, for no other reason than that it felt too good.
Qianyuan was thus subjected to Nosius's retaliatory pinching all the way.
When Nosius retrieved the nectar and placed it in front of him, the little guy finally sat up straight.
His hair was a mess, making him look like a disheveled puppy, and he looked like he had been thoroughly ravaged. His bewildered expression clearly showed that he hadn't recovered from the shock of "Nosius actually pinched him!" After he finished dealing with it, Qianyuan hugged his arms, visibly furious.
Nosius was then able to glimpse the cub's hidden, lively nature.
So small, yet with such a big temper.
But it makes me want to bully them even more.
Nosius recited the prayer repeatedly in his mind, telling himself to control his desires.
But he showed no sign of it on his face; the cub had no idea that it was only a tiny distance away from danger.
He crossed his arms and turned his back to Nosius, but Nosius did not come to coax him.
The little guy had almost finished being angry with himself and was starting to feel anxious, wondering, "If Nosius doesn't come to comfort me, does he not want me anymore?"
Nosius had never seen a little creature so angry that it made itself cry. After thinking for a moment, he could only take a little nectar and feed it to the cub.
The cub grumbled and cursed, but it ate.
He stopped complaining as he ate more, because the nectar was so sweet and fragrant.
The little one licked the food vigorously, quickly filling its belly to a round shape, its cheeks flushed, and then it lay drunkenly in Nosius's palm.
I've seen people drunk on alcohol, but I've never seen someone drunk on nectar.
However, the way the cub looks drunk really does resemble a sweet rice ball with a runny filling.
Nosius was unknowingly somewhat drunk.
I really want to give my baby a good suck on his little belly.
However, perhaps the cub was too drunk, because he unintentionally rubbed against the inside of Nosius's wrist, his body converting the blood he had absorbed from Nosius.
Perhaps the cub didn't know what a half-body was, but he was indeed nourished by Nosius with his flesh and blood.
Qianyuan unconsciously flapped her little wings.
The slight breeze stirred up by his wings made him sneeze.
The little guy rolled over and felt the cloud covering him shrink. His belly felt a little cool, and for some reason, the top of his head and tailbone were a little itchy.
Then, Qianyuan felt as if someone had slipped under her armpits and picked her up.
Chiyuki, with her toes tucked in: ?
Why is it suspended in mid-air?
The insecure cub finally opened its eyes and discovered that Nosius, who had been so tall and imposing in its eyes, had become a little smaller.
Oh no, he's gotten bigger.
Great! He no longer has to bravely climb Mount Nosius every day.
The cub thought for a moment and wagged its tail.
Hmm... a tail?!
The cub lowered its head and came face to face with a snow-white, unfamiliar tail with a rounded triangle at the end that looked like a little heart.
cub: OO
Tail:!!!
The two animals, one human and one tail, looked exactly alike, startled and their fur stood on end.
However, Nosius hoped that Chiyuki would understand that this tail was a part of him, and that he should stop playing with it.
The cub didn't understand. After struggling with its tail for a long time, the cub grabbed its tail and cried out, trying to complain.
But for some reason, the more I scratched the tail, the more it hurt.
Nosius quickly pried open Chiyuki's fingers and rescued the snow-white, glistening tail.
The short, tiny, tender tail immediately wrapped around Nosius's wrist. Because it had just grown and the cub was still small, the tail couldn't even hold Nosius's wrist securely, but its desire to complain to Nosius and cuddle couldn't be clearer.
Nosius could only coax the older ones first, then the younger ones. It took the cub a long time to accept the fact that it had grown another tail.
However, now that he has grown a bit older, he has not moved closer to Nosius, but instead looks increasingly different from the angels.
The angel's wings were black with thick feathers, while his wings were white bone wings, and none of Nosius and his companions had tails.
Could it be... that he isn't an angel?
