Chapter 79 Playing with Dad

Fortunately, the father only had some indigestion and secretly vomited up what he ate when the baby wasn't looking.

This made him even more wary of human food.

After the cubs have eaten their fill in their father's arms, they droop their heads and fall fast asleep.

The kid is too tired from playing.

Thankfully, the father had many hands and was able to react in time to catch the cub, otherwise the cub would have been injured.

This also shows that the cub has completely come to see its father as someone it can rely on, and that the area around its father is absolutely safe. Only a young cub would dare to do such bold things as sleeping on its back like a cat.

Perhaps the monster father wasn't so perceptive as to notice these subtle changes in his cub, but in his eyes, the cub was more endearing than the smallest creature in the world.

Like a hand that can't resist petting a cat, the father stroked the cub several times before quietly picking it up, patting off the food scraps from his body, and then waiting for the automatic refresh in the instance.

After the refresh, his clothes became clean, and he held the child again and sat upright on the altar.

The Guanyin statue, which was originally meant to save all living beings, now looked like the Virgin Mary pitying her child, gazing tenderly at the sleeping child in her arms, cradling him in her embrace, both caring for him and protecting him.

Perhaps watching the baby sleep was too soothing, the father couldn't help but fall asleep along with the baby once again.

However, the cub only took a short nap, and his sleep schedule was very healthy, so he opened his eyes on his own after two hours, but his father still kept his head down.

Because his father always had his eyes downcast, the cub was unsure whether his father was awake or asleep. He sat up and waved his hand in front of his father.

Seeing that its father didn't react, the cub sneaked closer to him and couldn't help but secretly exhale to blow on its father's long eyelashes.

Seeing that his father remained silent, the cub grew bolder, grabbed one of his father's hands and played with it for a while, then whispered in his father's ear again:

"Dad, are you awake?"

But his father was sleeping so soundly that he didn't answer him.

The cub had no choice but to climb down by himself. The altar was quite high, and after his feet reached down, he couldn't touch the ground for a long time. His toes were only a little distance from the ground, but he was hanging in mid-air, looking a bit like a silly cat holding a dried fish in its mouth.

"Hmm..."

The cubs are almost unable to hold onto the edge of the jar.

Just as he was about to let go, a father's hand silently reached out to the cub's feet, giving him a foothold.

The father's hand, like Chiyori's previous tentacles, possessed self-awareness.

But it wasn't as mischievous as the little guy's tentacles. Most of the time, the father's hands remained as still as the snow on a mountaintop, maintaining their proper posture.

So this is a little secret that the cubs don't know.

"call……"

After being suspended for only a short while, the cub looked like it was about to develop biceps, and it pounded its arms several times.

Only then did he begin to explore the entire temple.

The temple was very large, with many rooms layered upon each other, to the point that a cub would get lost if it went in. But it was completely empty, with no one inside. The cub curiously wandered around inside, greeting the other bodhisattva statues that were not being worshipped. As expected, it did not go far before it lost all sense of where it was.

While feeling lost and confused, the cub realized that he had reached the back door. Once he stepped out, the outside world would no longer completely belong to his father.

But as the cub gazed at the distant sounds of commotion from the village, it couldn't help but reveal a hint of longing.

The next second, before he could even step out the door, he heard footsteps behind him.

The cub looked up and, sure enough, it was its father, who had noticed its movements, coming to pick it up.

The father picked up his child: "It's dangerous outside."

Although the cub's eyes and ears were covered by his father, he still remembered his father covered in blood, so the cub wasn't too scared; his first reaction was anger.

"Are they bad people, bullying Dad? Bad! I'll yell at them!"

Having said that, the cub covered its mouth with both hands and shouted loudly towards the door:

"You villain! You big villain! You have no heart!"

But the cub was a prime example of being both weak and cowardly. After he finished cursing, he quickly hid behind his father, afraid of being discovered by the villagers who were far away.

It took the father some effort to scoop the baby, who was clinging tightly to his leg, into his arms.

It's okay, being timid is also cute, like a deflated little balloon.

The dad, whose filter was already eight hundred meters thick, started rubbing and snuggling with his son again. The son, having lost all his last bit of energy, turned back into a tiny little kid, and said in a soft voice:

"I play with my dad."

That way, Dad won't always be so lonely and always sleeping.

Unfortunately, no matter what game the cubs play with their fathers, the fathers always have a natural advantage.

He and his father had a braiding contest. His father could use several hands at the same time. He went from not being able to braid as well as the baby to gradually becoming more skilled.

Even more so than when playing hide-and-seek, the cubs can never escape their fathers. It's as if the fathers' eyes are everywhere in the temple, and no matter where the cubs hide, the fathers will know.

It was even worse when it came to rock-paper-scissors. We agreed on best two out of three, and the little one kept shouting "rock-paper-scissors" for ages, but Daddy's hand was less than half lost...

In the end, the cub finished the game crying, and after the first round, it refused to play a second round with its father.

After playing like this for several days, the little boy had explored every corner of the temple. He started to get bored, but since his eldest brother never came home, he turned his attention to his second brother.

But my second brother doesn't like being in dungeons, not because it's relaxing, but because he's socially anxious.
