Shen Qingman returned home in a daze. Instead of asking Wu, she went straight back to her boudoir.
But as soon as she opened the door, she saw Wu sitting in her room.
"Mom, what's wrong with you?" Shen Qingman was surprised.
Wu glared at her in disapproval, "You've been busy outside for so many days, and you're nowhere to be seen all day long. Why, if I want to see you, can't I just come to your room and wait for you?"
"That's not what I meant." Shen Qingman walked over with a smile and poured himself a glass of water.

Wu took her hand and said earnestly, "You, why didn't you tell me in advance about this? Li Hezhou is a good kid. I was surprised that Madam Zheng came today."
"Mom doesn't object," Shen Qingman asked courageously.
