Originally, Sha Zhu thought Wang Dabao was a young man and wanted to intimidate him.
Hearing the other party call him Yi Zhonghai's dog was unbearable. His eyes turned red instantly, and he rushed forward and delivered a powerful punch to Wang Dabao's eye socket.
"Bang!"
Wang Dabao slightly turned his body to dodge Sha Zhu's fist, and then kicked him solidly in the stomach.
Sha Zhu was kicked two or three meters away, clutching his stomach and screaming in pain on the ground.
He was a little dazed. The pain in his body was secondary; being kicked to the ground in front of so many people was something he couldn't accept. He was practically unbeatable, not just in the courtyard, but even in the factory. How could he possibly be defeated by a young man?
Courtyard War God?
That's it?
That's really something.
Wang Dabao pursed his lips.
Don't even mention that he has martial arts skills; his military skills are far beyond what someone as reckless as Sha Zhu could handle.
"Pillar."
The deaf old woman and Yi Zhonghai rushed over to help Sha Zhu up.
But Sha Zhu was in so much pain that he was sticking out his tongue, so he couldn't lift him up.
"You little rascal, how dare you hit my grandson! I'll never forgive you!" The deaf old lady took small, quick steps, raising her cane to strike Wang Dabao.
Yi Zhonghai and Liu Haizhong hurriedly tried to stop her, but the more they tried to stop her, the more determined the old lady became, insisting on avenging her grandson.
"You two, don't stop me. I don't believe he'll dare fight back." The deaf old woman's face was fierce, as if she wanted to tear Wang Dabao apart. "If I beat him today, he'll have to give me the house."
Wang Dabao was almost amused by the deaf old woman's words.
So you think I'm just supposed to get beaten up by you, and then I have to give you the house?!
This damn Yi Zhonghai has spoiled the deaf old lady so much that she's become like this!
To be honest, if that old man really did raise his cane and hit me, in front of so many people, I could only slap him across the face at most.
Kicking him away is inappropriate.
If the old man really dies here, I'll be facing a lawsuit.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Liu Haizhong stomped his feet in anger, released the deaf old woman, and hid to the side.
He came here with ulterior motives, mainly because of the house.
But Wang Zhen has a nephew; if he wanted the house, wouldn't that be like stealing it? If he could steal it, that would be fine, but that young man across the street doesn't look like someone you can mess with.
With this thought in mind, Liu Haizhong took two steps back, deciding not to get involved.
"You young comrade, we'll be neighbors in the future, how could you be so cruel?"
Yi Zhonghai was genuinely afraid that Wang Dabao's kick would seriously injure Sha Zhu, who was one of his most favored candidates for retirement. Turning his head, he saw Sha Zhu gritting his teeth and slowly standing up, supporting himself with his hands on the ground. Only then did Yi Zhonghai breathe a sigh of relief.
He looked at Wang Dabao again and said, "Quickly apologize to Zhu Zi, and we can let this matter go."
"no."
The deaf old woman took two steps forward, trembling, and pointed at Wang Dabao with her cane. "Make this little bastard pay for Zhuzi's medical expenses and vacate the house. Otherwise, I'll report him to the police and send him to jail."
"Just because you're blind doesn't mean no one can see it. This idiot rushed in to hit someone, and ended up getting hit himself. Who can he blame? But you guys have reminded me..."
A fierce glint flashed in Wang Dabao's eyes as he looked at his fellow workers who were helping him. "Uncle Zhang, please help me report this to the police. Tell them that Yi Zhonghai from Hongxing Courtyard brought people to vandalize the funeral hall and deliberately obstructed the funeral procession. This is a crime of obstructing a memorial service, and they should be sentenced to several years in prison."
Uncle Zhang nodded, turned around and walked out of the mourning hall.
He had long been disgusted by the behavior of Yi Zhonghai and his associates. They failed to get their hands on the house and instead turned to beating up Old Wang's nephew. This was outrageous.
Upon hearing Wang Dabao's words, Yi Zhonghai, Liu Haizhong, He Yuzhu, and the deaf old lady all shuddered.
Crime of interfering with sacrificial rites?
Is this a crime?
Liu Haizhong reacted quickly, grabbing Uncle Zhang's arm. "Comrade, wait a minute. We're all coworkers from the steel mill. It's not worth it to the point of calling the police."
"You guys are being a bit dishonest in this matter," Uncle Zhang said irritably. "It's no use telling me this. If you don't want to go to jail, you'll have to talk to Old Wang's nephew."
"Yes, yes, I'll go right away."
Liu Hai was internally miserable. What the hell was going on? He had already distanced himself from it, but how did he get dragged back in?
Thinking about this, he couldn't help but regret coming here.
After hesitating for two seconds, Liu Haizhong still sidled up to Wang Dabao. "Young comrade, I'm Liu Haizhong, the second uncle of this courtyard house. We'll be neighbors from now on, we'll see each other all the time. Do you think it's necessary to involve the police today?"
"oh?"
Wang Dabao slightly raised his eyelids, "Then how do you think this matter should be handled?"
"Let He Yuzhu apologize to you, young comrade, and admit his mistake."
Liu Haizhong's fat face hardened, and he turned to Sha Zhu, speaking sternly. Finally, he looked at Yi Zhonghai and the deaf old woman, "The young comrade is right, this is a funeral. Look at the mess you're making. Old Yi, I think you and the old lady should apologize to the young comrade."
After saying that, Liu Haizhong immediately looked at Wang Dabao as if to show his loyalty.
These words not only distanced him from the three men, but also gave Yi Zhonghai a good opportunity to put down. Such opportunities are rare, how satisfying!
Sha Zhu didn't say a word. Like Yi Zhonghai and the deaf old woman, he was intimidated by Wang Dabao's "crime of interfering with sacrificial rites".
Upon reflection, it seemed that what the other person said made some sense.
This is a funeral. Although I was beaten, I started it. If the police come to handle it, I will definitely not get away with it.
Sha Zhu was extremely unwilling to apologize to the person who hit him after being beaten.
