After Wang Dabao got up, he was momentarily at a loss for what to do.
Seeing this, Xiao Su smiled gently and broke the silence by lifting the net bag in her hand: "Brother Wang, Happy New Year! I've come to bring you some dumplings, in case you're hungry at the factory."
As she spoke, Xiao Su turned around, closed the door, and walked over with the dumplings in her hand.
At home, when her father, Xiao Zhenguo, casually mentioned that Wang Dabao would be on duty at the factory on New Year's Eve, Xiao Su immediately thought of sending Wang Dabao New Year's Eve dinner. To her surprise, her father actually agreed to let her send it.
Later, when Xiao Zhenguo mentioned Wang Dabao's background to his daughter, Xiao Su fell silent. It turned out that the cheerful Brother Wang had no relatives left in this world.
This explains why Xiao Su didn't disturb Wang Dabao when she opened the door and saw him staring blankly out the window.

But what she didn't know was that Wang Dabao was really just spacing out!
To prevent a repeat of the previous human trafficking incident, Xiao Zhenguo still sent his daughter to the factory gate, and then went into the guardhouse with cigarettes and various snacks.
Wang Dabao snapped out of his daze, quickly took the net bag and lunchbox from Xiao Su's hands, and then offered her a seat on the sofa.
"Xiao Su, how did you know I was here?"
Xiao Su sat up straight on the sofa, pursed her lips and blinked: "Uncle Hu mentioned it when he was at my house, so I thought I'd bring you some dumplings."
Wang Dabao placed the net on the coffee table, only to find two pairs of chopsticks inside. He asked in surprise, "You haven't eaten yet?"
Xiao Su nodded, blushing. "I was afraid the dumplings would get cold, so I brought them to you as soon as they were cooked, Brother Wang."
